  WitchBorn is a world of Magic that takes place in modern times. Ever hear of the stories of magic? Where wizards cast spells and mythological creatures were as real as you and I? I'm glad to tell you that these things do in fact exist right under your nose, you just got to be the right person, and at the right place at the right time to witness them. In this RP you will be playing an individual who has:​
  
  ✦ Covens that many WitchBorns gather in as a community that specializes in certain magic techniques
  
  ✦ Quests that are given out by the Magic Council to the covens.
  
  ✦ Attend a magic school to learn magic outside of a Conven.
  
  ✦ Meet the magical Police force known as the Enforcers, the Magic Councils' official guard dogs that are sent on special missions to handle quests that are too dangerous for a typical Conven to handle.
  
  ✦ Come across Ancient Dragons guarding their territory against those who wish to invade their peace, magical beings who have plagued others with curses and other threats that endanger the lives of everyone, WitchBorn, human, and everything else in between.
  
  This world may be magical and wonderous, but where do you fit inside of it?
  Witchborn is an RP that has multiple stories and plots going on inside of it. from the daily life of those who live with curses at Hexed, from the council's never-ending need to control the darkness hiding inside its community, to countless other events happening in the background, there's always something interesting in Witchborn.

  ✦ HEXED:
  The HEXED Conven is a Conven formed in the 1800's that specializes in Curing individuals who have been plagued by a curse done by a magical being. Hexed takes in multiple clients each year with varying severity of their curses, with simple curses being easy to remove and getting the individual back to their daily life, and much harder curses leading the individual to have to stay at the Conven till accommodations can be made to bring them back to normal life as much as possible. Aside from curses, Hexed sells potions in its local area and is located in a forest near a human town that has plenty of urban legends about the mysterious forest located near them. Hexed takes on a lot of human clients and therefore is always being watched by the Magic Council more so than most other Convens. Hexed is headed by an ancient warlock known as Briar, the Immortal Warlock who himself is cursed to always remain the same age until the end of time.

  ✦ The Council's Conven:
  The Magic Council has its own Conven Headed by the Council itself. Their Conven specializes in managing the WitchBorn world and all other magical beings that exist around it. The council hand picks WitchBorns from other Convens to join their own and is considered a great honor-- at least that is what they like to say. While the Enforcers are usually a part of the Council's Coven, it is not a requirement but it limits your ability to get promoted to a higher rank in the Enforcers. Alphonse Tignari is the named leader, despite the council being all in charge of their conven and is known as the Time Mage, and has claimed to have gone back in time multiple times to prevent tragedies from happening that has happened in other timelines.

  ✦ Floratine:
  Floratine is a Conven that specializes in Plant magic. Usually commissioned by the Council to take care of deforestation issues happening in their world, Floratine's pride and joy is their exotic greenhouse that holds just about any kind of plant you could be looking for, from a mandrake root to Basil they have it growing somewhere in their land. Its leader is a young witch known as the Bella Donna witch, someone who specializes in poisons, potions and creating dyes from her precious plants to be sold to customers worldwide. Floratine is often at odds with Hexed due to them also producing potions that they say are 'inferior to their premium product'. Floratine recently has been accused of leaking poisons to the magicless beings, though its not sure if its true or not, it has caused issues in the Conven.
  
  Leader- Ellouise Fanning, known as the Bella Donna Witch
  
  ✦ The Academia:
  Seen as a sort of hybrid Conven, The Academia is a school that has been made within the last 12 years due to the influx of Wildflowers being discovered in the world. Headmaster Crux being the leader of the Conven, The Academia prides itself on teaching Witchborns and other magical beings alike how to wield magic safely and to encourage all magical beings to be more inclusive towards one another. Once when a student graduates from The Academia they are then handed off to other recruiting Convens to join their ranks and skip the apprenticeship that most traditional Convens have their youth go through. The Academia welcomes guest speakers from other Convens to talk and teach about their specialties and to help their students decide where they would like to go after they graduate. The Academia is often at odds with the Council due to their unorthodox Conven and way of teaching, but The headmaster argues that this is the future for Witchborn and magical beings alike.

  ✦ The Flame Witch:
  The Flame Witch Conven, named after its founding member is a combative Conven that is often commissioned by the Council to take on more difficult quests that involve a more physical touch. While the Flame Witch is someone who specializes in fire magic, she does not expect her members to specialize in it but is far more inviting toward other flame mages. The flame witch conven takes their pride a bit too far, seeing themselves as the ultimate Conven and that other Convens owe them for 'protecting the peace'. Many of their members are enforcers and eventually have been recruited to the Councils Conven.[/B]
