Hello! Would it be alright if I made a fox-kin tribe and have them allied with Miokee also? If you don't want an alliance, I still have an idea on how to work in a character in without the alliance (assuming you would be ok with a fox race)

I'll allow it, but this will be the last alliance with Miokee, as there's not much conflict if everybody is playing tribes allied to Miokee. As for a fox race, go for it.Hello! i think my favorite so dar is the Hyena girl. Nikki is a far cry from anything I’ve seen before yet somehow feels familiar and easily understandable but not in a bad way. Plus her quick to fight attitude would make for some incredibly interesting dialogue and combat options between her and Dao.

Everything looks good, other than two things. The first could just be a misunderstanding on my part, or maybe it's my fault for not being clearer on it, but I did go ahead and establish the war's timeline when I did Kala's profile--so, the first attack on Miokee happened between 3 and 4 years ago, and then from there the war developed. It would have taken some time, for the various tribes to learn of the ring/the war to get going, but it's well-established at this point. It would still work to send an envoy now, to discuss further strategies and whatnot, but it wouldn't be because the war is barely starting.
Second, did you and Rcticwolf talk about the relationship between your characters? The info provided with Jenny's profile doesn't match up with the info about her in your character's profile (namely, that it sounds like Jenny hasn't unlocked her healing abilities yet, but she's an established healer with yours). So, I want to get that cleared up before accepting your character.
Yeah so I wrote her backstory in one go and it was late so just tossed in ideas that felt cool at the time. My bad @rtic

Yeah your guy is a demon-hunting Jedi who can slice lightning, fire and steel. Dont think its much of an option except seeing Niki's head lopped off loli think my favorite so dar is the Hyena girl. Well lighting is kinda conditional, he isnt fast enough to actually intercept a bolt, its meant to he cutting of intangible things like spirits, and for the cliche anime attack where you split an energy blast with a sword n stuff.
Plus he is very unlikely to actually draw the sword and prefers to fight with it sheathed, few fights are worth a life. He wouldn’t take a head unless that head was about to commit some serious evil.
Lastly dont sell yourself too short, id wagar nikki is superior in physical strength, speed, and durability. Not to mention her martial arts would certainly be a challenge when he has to also avoid fire.

I get the feeling they thought it was going to be a treasure-hunt-y sort of RP where a bunch of demihuman races try and find the Ring.

I'm a flexible person with posts, but I want to make sure we're both on the same page. So, with Miokee and whatnot, the borders aren't going to be 100% secure, but will be routinely checked by patrols. As such, Marco and his group could have made it farther into Miokee territory before being noticed. However, since they checked in with Miokee right as they entered the territory... I don't think Miokee would allow new individuals to just wander around in their territory, regardless of an alliance (for reasons largely found in the NPC Keefe's post). However, once the new individuals are brought to the main camp/introduced to the tribe, then they would be allowed to roam without a Miokee escort.
So, Keefe would have joined Marco as Marco's group was leaving the Miokee patrol unit, rather than him needing to catch up to them. Unless you have any objections to that. It's just what makes sense in my head.
