Race/Tribe: Wolfkin, Miokee

Magic?: Yes, but she only possess basic skills in healing.

Personality: Kala has a love for life and a natural curiosity that is always getting her into trouble. She doesn’t mean to be rebellious, but it just happens. Deep down, she’s afraid of being stuck in one spot/role. This fear also contributes to her lack of focus, as she is always moving on to a new fascination, rather than truly mastering anything. She doesn’t like confrontation, finding it largely pointless, and is quick to forgive/try to make amends. She has a harder time shaking off pressure. She’s a little squeamish with wounds but can force herself past it when it comes to healing. Her dream is to explore the world, as she has never left her tribe’s territory.

Appearance:
Kala has warm brown eyes and shaggy brown hair, which falls just below her neck. Her wolf tail and slightly oversized wolf ears are brown as well, though a few shades lighter than her hair. Her canines are a little larger than the rest of her teeth, and quite sharp too. She stands at 5’5”, with a lean, muscular build.

She wears a sleeveless mud-brown tunic, as well as black trousers. Around her waist is a dark brown belt, with several pouches attached—which contain a few basic medical supplies, as well as a small knife, a water skin, and whatever food she’s collected that day. She wears brown boots made from soft leather. A small knife is hidden in her left boot.

She isn’t a particularly skilled fighter, but she carries a short sword on her side for safety. She also isn’t bad with a blow dart, which is kept in the back of her belt, with the actual darts in a pouch on her right. Most of said darts are non-lethal.

History: Kala is the third and youngest child of Chief Kiden of the Miokee Tribe and his wife, Nahara. Her youth was uneventful, though she was constantly in trouble with her inability to focus and act her part as a chief’s daughter. While her brothers excelled in their studies and were given further responsibility, she found herself falling behind.

When she was 14, the first of the tribes attacked Miokee. In the attack, her second brother was killed. The first tribe to ally with Miokee was Kadawa, for their chief was Nahara’s father. Over the next several years, a few other tribes allied with Miokee, hoping such an alliance would enable them to find the Ring for themselves.

Kala tried to just keep living her life, even with the whole world suddenly against her tribe, but then came the news that her father was close to making a new alliance, with one of the more troublesome tribes—but Toeluith’s Chief Anoki would only agree to an alliance if it came with Kala’s hand in marriage.

Kiden does not like the idea of such a match for his only daughter, but it could change the tide of the war. Kala understands this, understands why her father felt like he had no other choice but to agree, but she has no intention of being married off to a stranger—yet she doesn’t know how to get out of it without hurting her tribe.

Magic: strong healing magic (but is locked and needs development) later attempts to learn lightning magic.
Personality: not very trusting, even to her own kind. Friendly towards wild animals.
History: orphaned when she was very young because her parents were hoping for a boy to have another strong warrior in the family, but instead got her. They expected her to show some talent in healing at her young age just as the other females have done, however she was never able to do any healing. her parents decided to disown her for being useless for the family, leaving her to fend for herself in the wilds of the world.

Other info: possesses a large scar across her face from her father. (Think Scar from lion king, but the scar goes all the way down her cheek) Developed decent combat skills through surviving on her own. Her many years of isolation has left her ‘hard shelled’ in terms of social behavior and unable to read social ques, meaning she sees things as they are. Found work as a wondering mercenary and herbal hobbyist.

Magic?: Yes, the rare (for a wolfkin) power over water. His power level is low, but his skill is high.

Personality: Anoki is intelligent and power hungry. He often appears charismatic, but it is just a tactic to get what he wants. He is impatient by nature, but he knows rushing things will only hinder him in the long run. To combat his impatience, he has developed a habit of meditation.

Appearance: Anoki has blue eyes and long black hair, kept pulled back in a ponytail, though with several small braids running through. His wolf ears and tail are also black. He is well-muscled and stands at 6’3”. He wears a dark green tunic with brown trousers when on the move, though he can often be found in a dark blue tunic with black trousers when at Toeluith’s main camp. Brown boots cover his feet, and he carries a long sword across his back. Several daggers are tucked into the belt at his waist, along with various supplies.

History: Anoki was left orphaned at a young age, with no tribe to care for him, for his parents had been outcasts. He was taken in by Nakai, Chief of the Toeluith Tribe, and raised as if he was Nakai’s own son. Anoki worked hard, to prove himself both to the tribe and to his new father, and he excelled in his new role at life.

At 22, he became the new Chief of Toeluith when Nakai died in a border skirmish with another tribe. No one contested his rule, not after he had captured the perpetrator and brought him back to suffer and ultimately die.

Nakai had been a strong ruler, and Anoki was quick to prove he was just as capable, both to his own tribe and to others.

Other: Anoki’s partner wolf is Undra, a wolf with black fur, though with brown strands throughout the coat.

Everything looks good, other than two things. The first could just be a misunderstanding on my part, or maybe it's my fault for not being clearer on it, but I did go ahead and establish the war's timeline when I did Kala's profile--so, the first attack on Miokee happened between 3 and 4 years ago, and then from there the war developed. It would have taken some time, for the various tribes to learn of the ring/the war to get going, but it's well-established at this point. It would still work to send an envoy now, to discuss further strategies and whatnot, but it wouldn't be because the war is barely starting.

Second, did you and Rcticwolf talk about the relationship between your characters? The info provided with Jenny's profile doesn't match up with the info about her in your character's profile (namely, that it sounds like Jenny hasn't unlocked her healing abilities yet, but she's an established healer with yours). So, I want to get that cleared up before accepting your character.

Marco is usually friendly, confident, and calm. Like most foxkin, he rarely raises his voice when angry, but can get passive aggressive at times. Marco loves to meet new people, though he isn't quick to trust others and will usually keep an eye on them even if he's known them for a while. He is sarcastic when joking and can easily be seen as rude if someone doesn't realize he's not being serious. He has a tendency to make things seem less important then they really are, which can get him in trouble with people in intense situations.

Marco has simple illusion magic that he learned from his parents, though he only knows the very basics. He can only make himself seem less noticable in crowds, which is nothing compared to other foxkin who can make themselves go invisible.

Marco has long-ish black hair that's kept neatly pushed to the side of his head to avoid any annoyance in battle. He stands at 5'4, being one of the smaller warriors in his tribe, though he is well muscled and clearly has experience in combat. He normally stands confidently, very rarely slouching or faltering when speaking to others. He keeps his tail neatly placed over his feet in a comfortable position because he doesn't like getting it dirty. He wears a warriors uniform: a black trench coat, dark red baggy pants, black boots, and a white fox mask. He only takes the mask off during battle or during casual meetings, since it's tradition for all foxkin warriors to wear one. He keeps a dagger concealed under his coat, and a few other knives. When given the choice he'd most likely choose a close combat weapon, or use his sharpened claws.

Marco grew up in the foxkin tribe skugga, one of the crime ridden and poor tribes of the foxkin race. The only thing that kept Marco from turning into one of the many angry and rude members of the tribe was his parents. They provided good guidance for him, and helped him through tough times in his life. He started stealing at a young age due to his families poor status, becoming skilled and rarely getting caught. He never stole more than he needed, and tried his best not to steal from other poor people.

Later in his life another race posed a threat against his tribe, and he was pulled into an involuntary warrior recruitment program to fight for the tribe. His skill in theft helped him during battles because of his ability to hide and blend in with his surroundings. He was known for ambushing groups of people and getting away by disappearing into the bushes in an instant.

After the threat passed, Marco found a love for protecting others and continued as a warrior of the tribe. Now that the wolfkin tribe Miokee-an allie to Skugga-was threatened, he was sent out along with a few other warriors as back up defense.

Other: the foxkin are known for being a divided race, some tribes fighting against Miokee and others fighting for Miokee. Skugga in particular is known for changing sides quickly. They only do things for their own benefit, though they wouldn't completely betray an allied tribe. At the moment Skugga finds more benefit in fighting for Miokee than against.

(Sorry if this is messy, it's pretty late. If I do get accepted, I'm willing to create a bad character against Miokee if needed)​

Name: Dao Kaito

Race/Tribe: Cursed Human/Toeluith

Magic?: Master Spellsword- Dao is a lifelong practitioner of The Kaito sword arts, a style of mystic swordsmanship pioneered by his ancestors nearly two thousand years ago it allows masters of it to be exceptionally spiritually aware and capable of tapping into their spirit power to achieve impressive feats such as cutting fire, splitting lightening, and Cleaving through steel. Dao in particular had mastered this to the degree of being a reknowned demon hunter in his homelands.

Personality: Dao is a very calm and relaxed man. He rarely if ever has emotional outbursts and even when he does they are short and often very understandable. That said he is not so arrogant to believe that logic is all that matters and he will rake the emotions of others into account for better or worse. Though very skilled in combat he tends to avoid it seeking instead preferring enlightenment and understanding to be the weapons that end conflict. However he is wise to matters of passion and knows full well that there are times when only steel can solve the problems.

Appearance: Dao stands at 5ft 11in and weighs 199lbs. He has dark hair and eyes as most denizens of Mu have. His muscular Definition is impressive with scars adorning his body showing the fruits of his training. His brow is rather heavy giving him a almost neanderthal like look if the lighting and angles are correct. The heavy brow, sharp cheekbones, and Narrow eyes make his glares surprisingly effective.

History: Born in a nation known as Mu, Dao was raised to be a sword saint. A figure akin to a samurai and a priest combined. By the time he could walk a sword was placed in his hands, by the time he could speak he was uttering incantations. Finally by the time he could fight, he was doing so against demons and dark spirits. He never had a life many would consider normal, it was wrought with conflict, confrontation of darkness itself, internal conflicts, and an awareness of a world that others were oblivious to. Odd as it was Dao did more than survive in this environment, he thrived becoming one of the most famous and powerful sword saints in all of mu. However even the sweetest of candies comes apart eventually.

Dao had made a name for himself not just in Mu but in the realm of spirits and demons known as hell. The lords of this realm of hell came up with a plan to destroy not just Dao but the sword saints as well. So they send a great demonic chimera made of the twisted fusion of a dozen elder demons this creature came and in one blow leveled Dao’s family dojo, killing his parents in the process, yet dao managed to block the brunt of the attack and saved his students. Before the devil could continue its assault Dao would engage him in a brutal battle down the mountains face that would end after nearly three hours as Dao plunged his blade into the demons heart. Sadly that was by design and as rhe demon chimera fell it broke into the twelve elder demons who went on to possess the Sword saint and nearly drove him to destroy Mu.

Yet dao would not allow himself to be corrupted or tarnished. Before the demons could use his body to commit evil he bound the twelve devils with his own soul merging them back into the chimera, and trapping this form within his own soul. After burying his parents and mourning their loss he went to finish training his students only to find that as he used his spiritual abilities the demon would begin to mix its energy with his in an effort to escape. Fearing this he decided to impose exile upon himself vowing to die alone in the wilderness with this demon. So he took his sword, his gi, and his family crest, then took to the sea where he would come to know a new world. The first person he met in this world Was a scout who attempted to slay him but was bested with a still sheathed sword so this scout went to find their leader Anoki. A brief exchange of words, a quick but friendly clash of wills, and eventually some friendly sparring resulted in Dao being included into the Toeluith clan as the first and only human in its history.

A demonic Chimera spirit named In’dakki which means To Drink. It gained this name for its havit of drinking spiritual energy from its targets which in this case was Dao. After its defeat dao sealed half of the demon within himself, and The other half he sealed within his sword so that even if he dies the demon will remain forever weakened.

Sadly this converted his families saint blade into a cursed demonic sword that feeds on souls and spirit energy to fuel a deadly dark soul decaying energy.

That's totally doable! I never actually stated they all had to be animal hybrids, but that's just how everybody's characters have ended up so far (aside from yours, obviously). Some non-canine hybrids would be an excellent fit.

Alright coming right up. We need a brutal tribe of savages anyway. Not to brutal that they cant be rational but something that neither fears death nor much of anything. Am i allowed to invent my own factions?

Name: Khark Nalcutta

Age: 46yrs
Race/Tribe: Crocodilian/KulKhan tribes
Magic?: The Great Maw- A magic granted through ritualistic practice rather than actual spell casting. The crocodilian can Grow stronger by consuming flesh and they will be incapable of dying due to age. The longer a crocodilian lives the more powerful they typically become, however the More powerful a Crocodilian becomes the further their decent into primal savagry will be. While it is rare that a Crocodilian lives to be older than forty, those who make it to a hundred are exiled from their society as they become little more than the animal they share so much with.
Personality: Khark is a Strange mind for a Kulkhan Crocodilian, but one that bodes well for the neighboring tribes. Despite being over forty years old Khark seems to maintain what little wit he was blessed with and has adopted more advanced strategies than his kin such as stepping to the side rather than trying to brute force his way through everything. His mind is pretty simple still however and he predictably takes the path of least resistance. due to this paired with his new status as chief many have come to the conclusion that appearing powerful and offering gifts to the Kulkhan chieftain is the best way to deal with the swamps to the south.
Appearance: Khark is a surprisingly large specimen for his kind standing at about 9ft 10in and weighing a hulking 840lbs. His dark muted green coloration makes it easy to blend into shadowy jungle terrain and nigh impossible to spot in a bog or swamp.
History: Khark was lain nearly fifty years ago and after three and a half years of incubation he hatched alongside his siblings But unfortunately for him he was the runt of his family. Due to this Khark had to learn how to overcome the weaknesses he inherited due to his dented egg. While his brothers and sisters brutally and vigorously tore into their prey, Khark had to think more, and adopt new strategies. They started simple at first, waiting a few seconds more before launching an ambush from the swamps, Sidestepping large herbivores charge and attacking their haunches. At first his siblings and the other tribesmen of his generation thought him to be the weird one. But as he grew his strategies allowed him to take down prey that would normally require two or more. Which in turn allowed him to eat more choice cuts of meat than his kin, and this would evenfually cause the gap of size and power to shrink and eventually reverse as he became one of the larger members of his tribe. Unfortunately for him this would put him in the crosshairs of Chief Nalcoom. While nalcoom was much larger and more powerful than Khark, he was also nearing his feral stage and his intellect was waning. Khark was able to rake advantage of his tactics and sidestepped the charging Crocodilian before leaping into a two handed swing of his Blade that decapitated the previous chief. Since taking his new title Khark has begun to attempt and make deals and be diplomatic with the other tribes, however this has caused many of his kin to view him as weak and has resulted in many challengers having to be cut down. Nonetheless he has begun teaching his tactics to the past two generations of hatchlings, with the oldest of them now beginning to take up warrior positions helping to solidify his rule as they acknowledge the power of mind combined with might.

Cheif nalcoom was huge standing at over 13 feet tall. However deep within the Bogs and swamps there exist ancient Crocodilians some reaching ages over two hundred years. Their minds have long since left them, but there have been reports of some of them nearing thirty feet tall and weighing nearly twenty tons.

The Bone plates of Cheif Nalcooms back were turned into a shoulder pauldron and a shield, for chief Khark. His sword is made of the spine of his grandfather who made it to age 137 making it as hard as steel.​
 
TheForce seems to have the big villain under control, so I'm wondering if you'd still like me to throw together a smaller villain just for variety in conflict? Just want to ask before I decide to make a full out CS.

Khark is no villain. Hes certainly no hero but he just wants what is best and most delicious for his people. Though i cant blame you for thinking that…i mean have you seen that mug…a face only a mother could love

Go ahead with whatever character idea you have. It's a bunch of different tribes warring with each other, so it's not like there's only one villain or anything.

Dragon (I don't have to mental capacity to think of another name for a tribe ;/ so dragon tribe)


Quinn has the ability to alter her appearance. It may seem like shape shifting, but she can't take the abilities of any creature she chooses to be. She often mimics the appearance of others in battle to confuse them. She also has the ability to fly and produce fire due to her original form.

Personality:


QuInn is deceptive and tricky, often using verbal abuse as a weapon. She seems nice on the outside, and she can be kind at times, but she isn't someone you should trust with your life. It's hard to get on her good side, but if someone is able to she is loyal to them and would probably sacrifice herself for anyone she loves. She looks down upon others and it's hard to impress her.

History:


As a child Quinn was spoiled rotten. She lived in a large home, was provided for, got anything she wanted, though this was at the cost of being looked down upon and treated badly by her parents. She felt that she was worthless and the cause of every problem in her household. This mentality continued until she turned 12 and ran away to join the warriors to fight for her tribe.

Adjusting to a new harsh environment was hard for Quinn. She wasn't used to eating only what was given to her, and being bossed around by other people. But instead of giving into her frustration and quitting, she used it as fuel to rise to the top. Quinn is now the leader of a warrior group, and since she heard the tribe of Miokee was rumored to has a powerful artifact, she felt threatened. She set out to neutralize the threat, even if it meant dying in the process.

Although Quinn is set in her decision to attack Miokee, she's not sure if she's doing the right thing or not.​

Age: 22

Tribe: Ybbr

Magic: None

Personality: Adl is a warrior through and through. On the bigger side of Ybbr physique at a magnificent eight foot eight and weighing in at six hundred and thirty pounds, he has trained his whole life to be a pillar that the Ybbr can rest on. Whether it's leading the charge in a battle or helping to build a collapsed hut, he tries to support everyone, often at the cost of his own health.


He likes people, but is slow to trust other tribes due to generations of conflict. He has a tendency to internalize his problems in favor of helping his friends, tribemates and family. He generally prefers ironwood gauntlets, heavy spiked gloves made from the densest core of the ironwoods in the heart of the Ybbr territory. It is supposedly tougher than steel.

Adl has adapted an old Ybbr fighting style into his own, based on using his gauntlets to hamstring opponents larger than he is and crush those who are smaller. It uses footwork and timing to maximize power in every blow, and from a specimen of Adl's size, it often proves devastating.


Appearance: Adl is a prime Ybbr. He has a short snout loaded with teeth and a powerful jaw, shorter fur covering his face and head. His eyes are a dull brown.


Ybbr lean closer to beasts than the precursor humans, and Adl is no exception. Due to his hunch, he appears almost feral, and he has talons instead of feet, along with reversed knees for maximum speed on all fours. He doesn't usually wear clothes to reduce drag when swimming, but otherwise will settle for a pair of brown pants. As far as many of the Ybbr are concerned, their long and thick fur is all the clothing they need. Adl's fur is a chocolate brown, although he has darker patches all over his body.


History: Adl was born into a litter of four and grew up learning group tactics and cooperation drills. By the age of eight he and his litter were hunting food for the Ybbr, and by the age of thirteen they were carrying out raids. When he was sixteen, he broke a leg and was unable to go on a trip. It was on this trip that his litter ran into an opposing tribe's war party and was killed. Since then, no injury could prevent Adl from ensuring he was always the first to be struck. He still hunts for the tribe that killed his siblings, always searching for their murderers.


Equipment: Brown pants, small satchel, spiked ironwood gauntlets, hand-carved wooden charm

Other: Adl heard about the Miokee ring and set out to retrieve it, in hopes that it will reduce the nightmares his tribe is constantly plagued by.
