My apologies. I have been busy with my own RP. I'll need to make a character ASAP. It should be done in maybe a hour. Once I do as such, it won't take me long to be where the Kitsune is right now.
 
No need to apologize! :) Great! Stoked to see your characters! I set it up so that anyone could have been tagging along in the ship with Zukai.
 
I did it now. Please let me know if anything is the matter with it. I'm very negotiable. Also forgot to mention it... But she didn't tell Zukai about her transformation.

Hi! I've got a couple of notes. First off, the big one here is that the character is WAY over-powered for this RP. At least as it currently stands. Being able to transform at the level Vados puts her FAR above Zukai, Ithreal, and, honestly, puts her in the league of Zerra, whose whole gimmick is basically that it's funny that she's even spending time with this group. It would be alright for your character to have genetic elements of Legendary Super Saiyans from other Universes to explain an eventual Super Saiyan turn, but I am trying to have characters who haven't had that transformation yet. It's totally fine for them to achieve the transformation somewhere down the line on this adventure, even before they reach Universe 7.

So yeah, a little Over-powered for the setting, without being tongue-in-cheek about it like Zerra.

Also, the time-skip sorta messes with the entire setting as well. As I sorta wrote out in the background of Zukai, the Tournament of Power basically JUST happened here.

The backstory also makes Champa and Beerus a little more hardcore evil than I think is warranted?

So yeah, those three points:

#1 Character is WAY too powerful. If you wanna write in a future transformation, I guess that's fine, but I def don't want anyone starting out this adventure with power near the Angels (Except Zerra, who again is doing it in sorta a funny way)

#2 The Timeskip kinda messes the timeline as established all up

#3 Champa and Vados aren't necessarily that evil nor do they have to be?

Thanks for taking feedback, I think it's important to figure scaling and stuff out in an RP, and I appreciate you working with me to make sure the character fits!

#0: Hi.
#1: Honestly I wanted to see what you would say about it . I figured since you allowed a GoD level character at the start, I figured we can go... EVEN BEYOND [ Insert SSJ3 reference ] . I was sort of expecting a [ STOP ! WAIT A MINUTE ! ] sort of response. I wasn't dissappointed. This is an easy fix IMO . I can dial it back a bit... Or I can sort of make it so that she only receives a transformation that strong until well after they come to Universe 7, and the Angel was hypotehtically speaking to Champa about her potential that she sensed from her 'trying' to transform . Is either okay ?
#2: Hmm... That may mess slightly with the Backstory. I should have Hit quite a bit before ToP. It does make things a bit easier
#3: Beerus wasn't exactly good either. Remember he pretty much nuked an entire planet just because he didn't like their attitude . And Champa is debatably worse. Vados however I never portrayed as 'evil', and I portrayed Champa that way because he'd still be extremely bitter after losing the ToP . Champa almost killed Hit for losing. I'm certain he would kill without much effort.
#4: I can dial it back even further to the point she doesn't even have the transformation yet, like i mentioned at #1 and save it for much much later in the RP .

Yeah I mean, if you have a plan for your character to ultimately reach that level of God-like power, that's fine with me. If you read the discussion in the Interest Check, and as well the OOC, you'll see that Zerra is allowed to have that sort of crazy power because she's sorta just watching/being part of this team out of boredom/interest. She's an over-powered God thing pretending to be a mortal to just kinda chill around this group of weird mortals. I definitely want every Saiyan on this journey to have zero transformations. Hell, I would say at this point even having a Kaio-Ken style transformation would be too much.

I think on a larger scale my issue is sorta that in a silly way I kinda wanted this story to be about your average Saiyan. One of the things I like about Dragon Ball Super (as well as Z) is that Goku and Vegeta are fairly equally leveled even though Vegeta is the son of the King and Goku is the son of a low-tier soldier. I think that perhaps having a character who is genetically engineered to be the most powerful Saiyan is less fun for a protagonist, and more suited for a villain character like Broly.

I hope this doesn't come across as harsh! I'm fully alright with a character whose parents were killed very early on. I'm alright with a child who has had some sort of genetic experimentation done on her. I think the idea that she was engineered with the intent of creating the strongest, and that that engineering was successful just doesn't sound super fun to me, nor like a great fit for this RP.

Definitely down for you to make another round of edits. I really like this story and setting so I'm being admittedly picky.

Looking at what you desire for the RP... I generally had a 'edit it out' / retconning moment:

I sort of edited it out stating that the Angel had a vision and was making speculations ( Sort of like Beerus and Super Saiyan God, only to be proven wrong in the end ) , so I'm sort of saying that while it's a 'high' possibility it's true if it ever happens , It likely won't ever happen. Maybe if there is ever a continuation of the story... It could happen. That just depends entirely on you. You are the GM . The timeskip still occured, but now the time frame fits more into the RP than prior.

Okay then. An average saiyan huh ? My character is sort of 'average' ... Sort of. Has an insane amount of potential, never utilizes it. Unfortunately, Gohan during the ROF saga is an example of such. Stated to have a certain degree of potential, never reaches it so all they have is speculation on what ' could have been ' . And yes she'll decline if Goku and Vegeta train her.

It was intended. It is unknown if she suceeded. Unless you want that to actually happen in the RP at a much later rate , then I'm okay with it. It's more of a hypothetical analysis than anything else.

I did. And It is fine. I actually have a history of RPing extremely OP characters and still doing just fine though . Just putting that out there.

Again, I'm ultimately not gonna say no to a character who has the potential and could someday hit a god-like transformation. I intend for this RP to eventually reach Universe 7, but I want the main leg and the main portion of it to be a quest for the Dragon Balls on Earth. My main concern there is just not wanting any OP characters. Aku hit me up about doing a self-referential OP character that sort of fit into the category of God watching mortals out of boredom, and that story appeals to me a lot, so I agreed on this one character. Because she isn't questing to get stronger, she'll be looking out for herself and hiding her OP identity.

I'm sure you're able to RP OP characters just fine, but having an OP questing protagonist is just not super the direction I want for this.

If you're alright playing her as growing and changing and developing like the rest of the cast, and don't plan to have her go Angelic Super Saiyan any time in the near or even semi-near future, sure, I'm down with a Saiyan who could eventually get insanely strong. Just so long as she stays a reasonable level of strength for this RP. I'd sorta like all of the characters to level together and grow together in strength. I also STRONGLY think the whole power level thing is weak, and one of the things I loved about Super was that it made characters like Tien, Krillin, and Roshi legit again. So like, even at the top of their game I want the strong warriors they encounter on Earth to pose a legitimate threat.

If you're down with all of that, then welcome and feel free to post, and if ultimately I think a post or something goes in a direction I'm unhappy about, we can talk about it and figure out edits or something.

The main problem is that at is just speculation from a Angel. We don't have proof what she visioned was accurate. It could be wrong ( Which it is ) . It's why I worded it that way.

RingSlinger RingSlinger I finally did post after... A few hours of not responding... I did something daring. Not as daring as It could've been... But still somewhat daring. I felt personally resisting it and wanting to gain strength by herself without succumbing to her potentials will gives her a lot of character . It's why I mentioned it.

And a whole shit ton of danger should her "alter ego" come forth if her power should ever not be sufficient. Scariness!!
 
Dragon Slayer Arcos Dragon Slayer Arcos That is definitely true. Glad you at least are entertained. I thought that effect would be created by the sudden ' Dun Dun DUNNN ! ' moment. I personally believe it showcases her willpower and character a lot more with this wrench in the makings. She'll mention it much later on, likely once they make it to Universe 7 .

And yes she actually has a crush on Zukai. I'm going to mention it now so it isn't a surprise later.
 
Yeah I think if her character is going to be defined by not accessing the power that is raging within her that has a lot of fun potential!
 
Thank you RingSlinger RingSlinger and I heavily agree.

They can see it if the following things happen in the RP:
- They read her mind.
- They enter her mind to attempt to fight it or something.
- If someone predicts it.
- If someone senses her " Hidden / 2nd power level " , which shows up whenever 'she' [ Potential's Will ] enters her mind. I think the only one who'd notice is those with a ridiculously high end power / strength , or those use to sensing such high end power levels ( AkuTheWolfOkami AkuTheWolfOkami 's character is he only one who would've sensed it here... )
Also... Whis was notified of what Vados hypothesized. However, they are the only ones who know right now, along with Champa. Beerus knowing.... Yeah it's best he doesn't. He would literally hakai her.
