Wingless Demon Chaser

MonnieVeronie

Vampire In-Training
An angel who has been kicked out of the heavens for showing too much of an interest in demons has to learn how to live her life back on the world. Even though she retains much of her angelic powers she no longer has her wings and her access to the heavens. She soon finds another demon that peaks her interests and is entangled in her life forever.

For the past hour or so, Leila had been standing at a sidewalk on a street and marveling at the stars in the sky. All around her were colorful, glowing lights from all the buildings. Even though it was night, the world was illuminated. Leila smiled softly and took it all in. She was eager to look around, although she felt a tad overwhelmed at how alien everything was, not to mention tired after the unusual events of the day.

Leila supposed that she should probably feel worse about what had just happened. Getting kicked out of heaven and stripped of her angel status certainly wasn’t good, but she couldn’t find it in herself to feel that guilty. There was nothing wrong with simple curiosity; after all, she hadn’t done anything wrong. The other angels in heaven had always been so suspicious of demons, and when Leila was caught sneaking down to the human world and observing the demons there, sufficed to say they were not at all pleased. They must have thought Leila was conspiring against the angels, or something silly like that. While she was indeed fascinated with the demons, she loved being an angel as well, and would never think of betraying them. Not that she was an angel any longer though. Her wings had been taken away, along with the majority of her angelic powers. Leila did felt a little disappointed about that, but refused to let it bother her too much.

With her heart pounding with excitement and awe, Leila began to walk down the street. She occasionally passed by people, who she greeted excitedly with a smile, much to their confusion. She walked and walked with no destination in mind, simply looking around and admiring the new sights. Then, she saw something that stopped her in her tracks.

Entering one of the buildings was a demon. There was no doubt about it. She was beautiful, with long deep pink hair and the sharp wings and horns that were characteristic of demons. Leila stood outside, watching with round, fascinated eyes as the demon woman went inside. Leila was thrilled. This time, there would be no repercussions from the angels if she followed the demon inside. The eagerness she felt was mixed with nerves. She always felt a bit nervous when she secretly observed the demons, and even more so now that she wasn't a proper angel anymore.

But I don’t know when I’ll get another chance like this! With that thought at the front of her mind and her heart filled with curiosity, Leila took a deep breath and surreptitiously followed the demon into the building.

Sheera felt the cool air on her face, it was a nice night out. It was too cool or too warm, it was just right for her to wear what she wanted to in order to look her best at the club. She had on a short skirt and a long shirt that bunched up at the bottom against a tight belt. The shirt had the sleeves cut out deep into the side so her lacy pink bra was exposed. She wore tall heels to make her seem a little taller than she actually was. She stood at just over five foot so all the help she could get with her height would help. She didn't like being short but at the same time there was something that guys liked about short girls. Although she was not attracted to men she would sometimes use to feed herself if she wasn't able to snag a decent female that night. It had only been a few times that she had no choice but to pick up a man, although she was easily able to flirt with a man it repulsed her to have to put her lips against a mans. There was something about them that gave her the chills, not the kind that she liked.

She walked down the sidewalk hearing her heels clack against the concrete below her. she heard a few men whistle at her as she walked by and one grabbed at her backside; she had to resist reaching out and snapping his neck or slashing at him with her claws. She may be a demon who loved passion but she was still a demon and she had never known a demon without a temper. Hers was on a thin line, she was easily pushed over that line. Luckily for that man she was in a good mood today. She was looking particularly good and had a good feeling about tonight. She was hoping to find somebody that she could drain nearly dry of energy tonight, she wanted to end the night feeling overwhelmingly full of energy. She greeted the bouncer as she walked past him and into the club. She had been coming to the club nearly every night for the past five months, this city was large enough that when a few people got seriously sick out of no where it wasn't thought of as something serious. She could finally settle down and stay in one place for longer than a month or two.

The music was loud inside and the club reeked of alcohol and sweat, it smelled amazing to her. Although, newcomers might find the smell offensive to their nose, it was something that she lived for. Every night she would crave the smell of all of these drunken humans dancing all over one another until they were covered in sweat. She never got worked up enough to break a sweat however, she just had a higher tolerance for activity than humans did. She made her way to the bar to order a sex on the beach, the bartender looked her up and down and she pressed her chest again the counter for her to get a better look. She loved when people looked her over, especially cute girls serving alcohol to her.

Leila moved into the building, and the first thing she noticed was the noise. Loud, pounding music was playing, and she had no idea where the music was coming from. She couldn’t see any musicians. How peculiar. The room she had entered was packed with people, all talking, laughing, drinking something, or dancing. They seemed to be having a good time. Perhaps this building is where humans come to enjoy themselves, mused Leila curiously. Her clothing felt rather out of place. She was still wearing the clothes that she had worn as an angel, and the light, airy pale blue dress didn’t fit in at all with the tighter fitted clothes that many of the people were wearing.

Leila looked around for the demon. It didn’t take her long, the demon’s true form was apparent to her. Clearly, despite losing many of her angelic powers, her ability to distinguish non-humans remained intact. Of course, the humans couldn’t tell that the demon was any different from them – although Leila did notice that many of them were staring at the demon. They did not appear to be afraid though, so it must have been something else.

The demon was sitting at a counter and drinking something. Part of Leila wanted to immediately approach her, but she decided to wait and watch. Perhaps she could learn more about this demon. Leila decided that the best way to secretly observe the demon while blending in was to sit at the bar counter, like many other people were doing. She delicately sat down several seats away from the demon.

What Leila didn’t expect was for a bartender to approach her and asked what she wanted to drink. She wasn’t entirely sure how to answer, angels were never required to drink anything, and when they did it was water. Yet nobody at the counter seemed to be drinking water, but rather some other substance. In the end, Leila asked for whatever drink that the demon woman was drinking, as she had no idea what else to order. When she tried it, the taste was very strong and unlike anything she had tasted before. She wasn’t sure how much she liked it, so she only pretended to continue drinking. But Leila took comfort in the fact that she now had a drink, and thus blended in with everyone else. So Leila stayed in her seat, occasionally taking fake sips from her drink, and constantly stealing furtive glances at the demon to see what she would do next.

Sheera leaned further over the counter as the bar tender walked away to go and get some one else a drink. She picked up her glass and down her drink in no time. She tilted her head back while she enjoyed the familiar sting of alcohol in her chest. She had never been able to get drunk but she liked to partake in drinking alcohol anyways, she loved the way it made her feel. It only heightened her already sensual feelings, it made her live in a constant state of euphoria. Like taking these drugs that she had once gotten at a human rave, those made her go into a state of Euphoria but she realized they were not legal and alcohol made her feel roughly the same way without having to search it out in dark alleys. Although she could probably get any drug she wanted if she only tried.

The bar tender came back and let her eyes follow Sheera's eyes all the way down to her chest that was now spilling out her top and onto the counter. "Like what you see baby?" Sheera grinned as she watched the bar tender turn red and turn her face away, she was the shy type then; it was always cuter when they got caught, it wasn't as hard to get a kiss from them either. She leaned forwards a little and whispered "come here" and the bar tender obeyed as if ordered; Sheera barely had to use her compulsion on this girl to get her to lean forwards and press their lips together. She stole a long kiss, slipping in a little tongue before pulling away and letting out a chuckle. "Thanks for the kiss darling."

She sat a five dollar bill on the counter and got up and walked towards the dance floor. Her hips started swinging as she got closer to the dance floor. She hopped around on her feet, spinning and lifting her arms in the air. She felt as if she was flying, she could almost spread her wings and let them carry her up. She felt them tense under this magic disguise that she held, she wanted to stretch them but she would have to wait until later tonight once she was done with the club. She closed her eyes and felt the flow of people around her grinding against her and dancing with her. She wound up in the middle of the dance floor before she stopped moving and danced in one spot. She loved when people poured themselves over her, plenty of girls and guys get caught up in the dancing and kiss her. She can tell when a man kisses her because it is rougher, she will pull away without taking hardly any of his energy. She smiled and danced harder as the pace of the music picked up.

Leila stayed seated, swinging her legs up and down as she watched the bartender approach the demon. She watched rather intently as the demon leaned forward and kissed the bartender. Perhaps this demon is a succubus, she wondered to herself. It would make sense, other types of demons would have no reason to come somewhere so crowded. Leila didn't know that much about succubi, so she felt even more enthusiastic at the prospect of new knowledge.

The demon stood up and headed towards the area where people were dancing. Leila quickly moved herself so that she could continue watching her. She deliberated on whether she was being too obvious – she already felt like she stood out enough in this place. She had no memory of the human world, and while she was trying her best to imitate the people she saw, Leila still felt like a fish out of water.

The demon was dancing now, and the humans seemed to be mesmerized by her as they all gathered around. She’s really beautiful, Leila thought. As she observed the demon, she began to formulate what she would do next. Part of her wanted to immediately give into her curiosity and approach the demon in the club, but given how clueless she was about human mannerisms, she might attract suspicion. Eventually, Leila decided that she would wait until the demon left the club, and follow her from there. Since the demon would be alone, it would be easier to watch her from afar and hopefully find out some new information in the process.

Sheera kept her eyes closed as she danced around, she could feel the humans around her leaning in closer to get a whiff of her scent and feel her body against theirs. She could feel the energy that flowed within them, she was hungry. She wanted to eat. She danced for a few more minutes, realizing that there was one particular woman that was dancing particularly close against. She took the opportunity to pull her closer and press their lips together. They were immediately tangled into one another, the woman fumbled her hands around on Sheera's hair. She pressed her hand against the dip in the woman's back and rested the other hand on the back of her head and neck. She could feel the woman's life energy flowing into her, she was young so the energy was especially revitalizing. She let the kiss continue on for at least another two minutes before she pulled back from the woman and let her slide down to the floor. "Here let me help you over to the bar" she grinned as she spoke and huffed as she pulled the woman up and over her shoulder. The woman wasn't heavy at all especially with her enhanced strength, but she had to blend in with the humans around her. She was used to blending in.

As she was headed back to the bar she noticed a woman that looked particularly out of place, her clothing didn't say she was dressed to be in a club. She sat the woman whom she had just fed from down on a bar stool and helped her to lean against the counter. She may be a demon by birth but that didn't mean she was a killer. She did enjoy using her powers for her own personal gain but she was able to leave humans with enough life force to be able to survive for at least another 10 years. Some could survive longer if they were able to replenish their life. After she was sure the girl wasn't going to fall over she turned and walked over to the woman that seemed so out of place and took a seat near her. "Is this your first time in the club? You look a little young." She made sure to have a pleasant smile on her face and press her chest out to make her look better, maybe she would be able to take this young woman home with her.

As the demon danced, she leaned in and kissed a woman. The kiss lasted quite a while, and the woman seemed very dazed after it ended, furthering Leila’s theory that the demon was indeed a succubus. She was beginning to feel more and more intrigued.

What Leila didn’t expect was for the demon woman to sit down beside her. With a radiant smile, the woman spoke to her. Immediately, Leila felt a little bit nervous. While she had observed demons from afar many times, she rarely spoke to them. Along with the possible dangers associated with it, Leila wasn’t entirely sure how to speak like a modern human. She’d picked up the majority of how modern language worked from her time passionately observing the human world, but she didn’t know what a lot of words meant, and was very unfamiliar with slang terms.

But surpassing the nervousness that Leila felt was excitement. Opportunities to speak with a demon were very rare, and yet she was being given the chance – on her first day in the human world, no less. Her heart was pounding in her chest when she replied.

“Ah – yes it is! I’m not very familiar with places like this. It’s quite loud, but also interesting, I think.” She looked at the demon with a smile, eager to ask her some questions. “My name is Leila. Do you come to this place a lot?”

Sheera smiled at the younger girl and leaned closer in to her. She didn't come to the place a lot that means she didn't know of Sheera's reputation as the club "slut". Most regulars in the club would flock around her because they knew that kissing her was easy and sometimes going home with her was easy as well. She liked to have fun and didn't care what that reputation caused her. Not many people actually asked her questions though, they just made their own assumptions about her based on the clothing that she wore and then made their move accordingly. She never dressed in a lot of clothing, even when the air was cold outside. "I'm Sheera, girl. I am here most every night. Unless someone wants to come home with me." She beamed at the girl, a large smile on her face.

She pressed herself against Leila and fingered at her flowing gown "You sure don't know how to dress for a club do ya, kid?" She smiled and pressed her lips to her ear "I could show you a thing or two if you would like." She pulled away from her and let out a laugh while moving away from her some "Come dance with me kid!" She motioned to her as she walked towards the dance floor again, swaying her hips with the beat of the music that was around her.
