BILLIE BENSON
Talking to Blaire was like talking into a void. Billie's parents had told her about Blaire and the reason why Blaire was at the university now. It was odd, forcing your adult child to go to school when they didn't want to go. But, what could Billie say to that? Nothing. So, she continued unpacking and talking until she mentioned the party and it was almost like a lightbulb went off in Blaire's head and the girl suddenly had interest in the topic, "oh yeah! They always do that big ass party. Okok let's go!" She said and quickly dug through her clothes to change into something cute for the party.

The bralette and skirt combo was short and slutty, but that was usually what she went for when it came to parties. She liked having the attention on herself, even if she was naive of what kind of attention it might bring. "Okay I'm ready!" She said and took Blaire's hand, excitedly leading her out of the dorm building. The sun was already setting by the time they stepped outside the sun was already setting. Had she taken that long to unpack? Probably. Billie liked to make the dorm feel like home. Hand in hand, Billie walked with Blaire to the frat hour that wasn't too far away from the campus. Greek road was already booming, almost every house throwing a party for move in day. But of course they found Pi Kappa Alpha with ease.

Since Billie was already familiar with the place, she went with Blaire to the keg and grabbed them both beer before a frat guy hopped up on it to do a keg stand. Billie couldn't help but giggle as the guy stood on the keg with his hands and people held him up, "these boys are so crazy." She said with a laugh and cheersed her cup with Blaire's. Being small town, it didn't take Billie long to down her drink and refill. Stuff like this always made her miss home. The farm kids always threw the best ragers, but at college the frat boys were a close second with their parties.

Hayden Dawson

Aren’t you proud of me, dad?

The party had to be great—no fucking fantastic. Hayden had been planning it for months. He had the lights, the music. The pantry was full stocked along with the bar. He’d ordered enough kegs to fill the entirety of their basement. Which is where he kept them in preparation for the party tonight. Everything was ready, the only thing left to do was finally push his parents out the door for their final goodbyes. That’s when the party could really start.

Their were no tears, no emotional goodbyes, just a simple pat on the back and a reminder to be prepped and ready for football practice tomorrow. Outwardly, Hayden just smiled and waved. Inwardly he was beyond annoyed at the mention of football. Couldn’t he go one day without someone bringing out that dumb sport? Hayden placed his lips to his mothers temple, murmuring a soft good bye to them. Finally, the door closed and he was all alone in the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house.

Hayden pulled out his phone and typed up a post on Twitter. His finger hovered over the enter button for a moment before he hit send and then shoved his phone into his back pocket and begin to set up for the party. Tonight was going to be wild. Hayden could just feel it in his bones.

Hana Glenn

knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom -Aristotle

“Water please, H.” Maddox told Hana who was already grabbing a glass of the bubbly stuff. She’d never had it before but it always look so delicious. With her flute of champagne in hand, she reached over to grab a cold glass of water from the table and handed it over to Maddox.

“Okay, what is fancy fancy picnic has to eat?” Maddox asked. A small chuckle vibrated Hana’s chest as she brought the flute to her lips, taking a small sip in order to taste the bubbly liquid, “fancy tiny sandwiches? Cause, I’ll need like five of them.” As she suspected, the bubbles tickled her tongue and throat as the liquid trickled down her throat. The burning made her cough softly, as it settled into the pit of her stomach—making her fingers feel tingly. It didn’t taste bad though, not like everyone had told her it would. She liked champagne. A pang of pure thrill ran through her body, making her feel elated.

With a warm tummy and tingly fingertips, Hana turned to her best friend, “They should have food around here some—“ a ping from her phone took her attention from the conversation at hand as she eagerly dug her phone out of her back pocket. The notification was from Twitter. Hana’s eyes widen as they quickly darted from one side of the screen to the other reading the text.

“So...” She trailed off, “There’s this party.. and so, what if—hypothetically, of course, we.. maybe went?” She looked over at Maddox with a sparkle of hope in her eye. She knew that Maddox didn’t like people, but maybe—just maybe she’d agree to go with Hana since this would be her first time even being able to even consider going to a college party.

Maddox looks at Hana raising an eyebrow as she takes a sip of champagne which she is sure is her first time asking about a party. This is why Maddox partly agreed to come out with her, on her first night of freedom. For as long as she has known the innocent girl, Hana has been protected by her family, barely allowed to do anything that wasn't seen as the way of the church. The only time she even stood up to her parents, was with her friendship with Maddox herself. Her father may have given her a chance to be friends, but that doesn't mean she was going to change anything about herself. She was still going to be the cold, and dark Maddox that she had always been. Hana's father hated that about her and wished that H wasn't friends or even associated with her. It got worse when she opened the tattoo shop.

H didn't blink an eye and told him that she wasn't going to give up on Maddox. That Maddox was her best friend for a reason.

That's why Maddox would never leave her behind because she didn't when she had the chance to. And that was why she was here right now, watching out for the young girl. "A party? She mumbles. It's one thing that Maddox hates, and that is people and small spaces. Which party is a both of those? She knew from the hopeful look on her best friend's face, that she wanted to go. And she wasn't good at denying her what she wanted.

She never has.

"Two rules. You don't leave my side, and I'm allowed to bring my knives." She states with a smirk. Maddox was going to a party, but be dammed if she wasn't going to make sure she was safe and so was Hana.

Plus knives were definitely the perfect accessories to a party outfit.

PARTY PARTY SONG

VIVIAN COLT
tags: none location: The Party ; company: Theo

Vi had another boring day at the coffee shop. She’d turned on the classic uptempo jazz so that college students, adults who didn’t want to work at home, and a few regulars could get their work done in peace. She was quite good at her work, but until 3:00, she got a text from Theo that a party was being hosted at Hayden Dawson’s house. Replied that she would be there, as she filled her black coffee up with bailey’s and sat on the counter, sipping her drink and people-watching.

Soon, her shift was up, and she gathered all of her belongings and headed out the door. Theo picked her up and took her back to the townhouse, where he waited for her to get ready while he picked up the rest of his stuff from moving in. She put on a nicer outfit- a nirvana tank top, leather jacket, and ripped up black jeans. Her combat boots, necklaces and rings to accessorize. She came down the stairs while Theo was waiting for her on the couch. “Are you ready?” He asked. He was dressed nice, too. She smiled and nodded. “Lets party!”

They were soon pulling up to the party, Theo had picked up a few of his football friends. She hadn’t known them before, but after knowing the names on the entire roster, she soon attached a name to the faces. They asked her questions, flirted, and she flirted back. She was pre-gaming in the car with a few drinks alongside the boys. Theo gave her a sly look. “Remember Vi, no dating within the team.” She giggled. “I was just having a conversation.” The boys asked how Theo knew Vi. “She’s my sister.” He replied coldly, and turned the music up. She didn’t look back, but she knew that the guys had widened their eyes.

She hopped out the car, and greeted the man guarding the door. He let them all in, easily. Vi was always on the guest list because of her attachments to the football team. Already pretty buzzed, she stumbled towards the basement where the kegs were. Theo followed her and watched her navigate the stairs with hundreds of people already inside the house. He grabbed her arm when they got to the bottom. “If you don’t see me, come and find me, okay?” She laughed as she filled up her cup with some cheap beer. “If you don’t see ME, come and find me. Okay? This might be a little too much for you, princess.”

Blaire Warden

Familiarity breeds contempt

The feeling of Billie’s hand in hers reminded her of when Quinn would take her hand whenever Quinn would get overwhelmed. The thought made Blaire’s stomach churn as she tried to push the thought of Quinn out of her mind. Even though they hadn’t spoken in god knows how long, Quinn was almost always on her mind. She couldn’t help it and even if she would never admit it, the girl owned Blaire’s heart.

Blaire held into Billies hand until they pulled up to greek road. She’d been there many times but she was never actually a student. She’d stayed in the frat boy’s beds more times than she could count on her fingers but they never did anything more than a drunken make-out session. She just couldn’t bring herself to hook up with anyone when all she could think about was Q—. No, Blaire refused to feel like this. She was at a party. So, she shook her head and cheersed Billie’s cup with her own before she downed the whole thing in three gulps.

The frat house was already packed and it wasn’t even dark outside yet. The music was vibrating the wooden floor and making the walls shake. People milled about in the kitchen, which is where Blaire and Billie stood. It was almost awkward, standing there with the girl her parents forced her to room with but, Blaire thought she seemed nice enough to get along with.

“What are you going to school for?” She leaned leaned over to ask Billie, having to shout over the loud music. Another keg was brought from what she assumed was the basement and filled up her cup again, bringing it to her lips—sipping it slowly, this time while she listened to the blonde talk about her upcoming studies.
