  Kendall tries not to stay in one place for too long, but somehow, Willowbridge ended up becoming more of a permanent home than anything else. He thinks that just because he's in a band, then that makes him hot shit. But he's not - if anything, he's just a shitty excuse for a human. He has the humor of a twelve year old boy, always making sexual innuendos and cracking up at poop jokes. What anyone sees in him, nobody really knows. But he always seems to work his way into everyone's pants around here, so either they're desperate or the "K-man" (a nickname he gave to himself, by the way) truly does ooze charisma. Some of his most notable quirks include:
  

  • making dumb PowerPoints for everything that he does, from explaining his body count (it's around 40 now), to advocating for pegging for all
  • trying (and failing) to capture the heart of uninterested parties
  • not getting the joke when it's about him

  So there you have it - a cringy loser with a handsome face. Maybe that's how he sneaks his way into the beds of Willowbridge. Who knows? All that matters is that he's here, and he isn't going anywhere any time soon.

  We can't possibly keep this...this...this thing." Tiffany Nash had whined, complaining to her then-boyfriend, Barrett Bryan. They were only sixteen, and a baby would just complicate things. "But think about the possibilities." Barrett replied, trying to convince her to keep their unborn child. If they were to keep the baby, both of their families would disapprove, big time. "What if we were to get married? I know my parents would be more lenient if we were married."
  
  And so, Tiffany and Barrett eloped, four months before the healthy infant, weighing in at 6 lbs., 2 oz., was born. They named her Rachel Marie, and the family of two soon became a family of three. Tiffany and Barrett balanced school and the baby, and everything was alright for once. It wasn't easy, but the couple made it through high school married, baby and all. They had just started college when they found out another baby would be making an arrival the following spring. Kendall Michael was born at a pretty inconvenient time, towards the end of their freshman years, the family expanding again with his birth. But they were determined to get their degrees. They were going to make this work, no matter how hard it would be.
  
  The Bryan children grew up knowing nothing but love and attention from their parents, who had since become an architect and an elementary school teacher. They then became big siblings once more when Rachel was ten and Kendall was eight, after Hazel Nicole came into the picture. Still, each and every one of the Bryan children were loved, no matter what. None of them ever felt as if they were left out; their household was one of support and care. If it weren't for the unexpected birth of Rachel all those years ago, none of this would have happened; Tiffany and Barrett soon grew to love each other again instead of resent each other, as they had done when they were teenagers.
  
  Being the overlooked middle child made Kendall more and more resentful over the years. It all boiled over when he was sixteen. He left a note behind and ran away, opting to fend for himself rather than stay in the limelight. And so, Kendall became a rolling stone, hopping from town to town (and bed to bed) in order to get by in life. He's just recently found his way to Willowbridge Will he stay for long?   Cold, calculating, and conniving: Delia Hathaway, summed up in three words or less. She's had to adapt to standing her ground over the years because getting walked all over was getting tiring. She's had to be like this because no one else would listen to her otherwise. She's taking the stereotypical mean cheerleader trope to a whole different level. But Delia does have a sensitive side, hidden under layer after layer of backhanded compliments and fake smiles. She does truly care about those who mean the world to her. Her twin brother, Drew, and her parents, are the only ones who see through all the negativity that surrounds her. They know that she's got a heart of gold inside. But because she's pretty, she's considered to be an airhead. That's not the case. She's always ending up on the dean's list for her excellent grades. Because she's a cheerleader, she's supposed to date hunky jocks. That's not the case either. In fact, Delia's more into other cheerleaders, if you catch her drift. She's unashamedly proud of her lesbian identity, and her family, unlike some, are one hundred percent onboard with it. Besides, Drew's the one who's more likely to have grandkids anyway. Del has absolutely no maternal instinct inside, that's for sure.
  
  Once you get on her good side, and in her good graces, you'll finally see the sweeter demeanor that she hides deep down inside. While she's not the type to bake you homemade cookies, she is a great listener, offering her own advice to whatever problems her friends are going through. If you get to be her friend, she'll take you out on shopping sprees, take you to the best parties, and all that jazz. But it takes a while for her to really open up - so don't get frustrated if she doesn't pour her heart out to her after only meeting a few times.

  Being the son of the Willowbridge mayor had worked out perfectly for Vincent Hathaway. His father, Sebastian, had been mayor for as long as young Vincent could remember. He had notoriety due to his last name, he had money for anything and everything his heart could ever dream of owning, and he wasn't that bad to look at, either. But being the next mayor wasn't what Vincent wanted. He wanted to be quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys (because, you see, the Houston Oilers had packed up for Tennessee at the time of Vincent's coming of age, and the Texans wouldn't be established until 1999) one day. Sebastian was devastated that his son wanted nothing to do with local politics. Perhaps it's what caused his heart to give out at the young age of 49. Either that or the excessive tobacco use. Either way, Vincent, though sympathetic to his father's plight, decided to go play college football for the Willowbridge Bulls.
  
  Everything seemed to be going great - he was a great college prospect, and things were promising. But then, during the biggest game of the year, a rivalry match with the nearby Lakeview Eagles, Vincent tore his ACL, effectively ending all chances of going on the rebound and getting back to greatness. Luckily he had his law degree to fall back on. So he joined forces with another, already-established lawyer, Viola Lynch, and opened their own law firm in the heart of Willowbridge. Love and work were soon intermingled, and they would marry in 2001.
  
  But Viola refused to carry any children of their own. So, they decided to get a surrogate. They had the money and resources to do so, after all. And it was all successful...maybe a little too successful. The sonograms showed not just one, but two fetuses. The Hathaways were going to be parents of twins. Viola quickly got her tubes tied while their surrogate carried their babies. And with the twins being a boy and a girl, there was no need for them to consider the possibility of having more.
  
  Delia Josephine came out first on that cold January evening in 2003. Drew Jacob was next. They were small, but mighty. Drew was to be put in football as soon as he could hold a ball.   The rain poured down outside the cabin as Milo and the new Isabella Phelps consummated their recent marriage. The world didn't matter to either one of them as they indulged in the pleasures of the flesh. Milo and Isabella had decided to elope, as their parents had been adamant about keeping them apart. You could consider them to be a modern-day Romeo and Juliet of sorts. They were high school seniors, after all. That hadn't stopped them from running off to the small chapel in the middle of nowhere. The next day, when word reached their parents, they immediately pushed for an annulment. Milo and Isabella resisted. They were young, and in love, and nothing was going to stop them from being together. However, it left them homeless, as both set of parents wanted nothing to do with them. They then decided to move to Dallas, where they got their GEDs.
  
  Nine months later, Lauren Ella Phelps was born to the love and adoration of Milo and Isabella. Milo had just struck it rich with a new business venture, setting him and his new family up for life. Isabella was dismayed to find out that she could not have any more biological children a few years later after trying and failing to conceive a younger sibling for their darling Lauren. All the IVF and fertility treatments in the world couldn't help the Phelps' produce another child. Although they were disappointed by the news, they inevitably accepted the fact that they would only have their only child, Lauren. Isabella couldn't help but feel as if her infertility was a sign from the universe, telling her that she was wrong for running off and getting eloped. She couldn't live with herself for what she had done, and so, leaving behind a note for both Milo and Lauren to read, she took the family SUV and took off. Lauren was only seven when she left. It devastated both her and her father.
  
  As Lauren had gotten older, she had often wondered about the fate of her mother. Was she remarried, with a new family? Was she miserable? Where did she run off to, anyway? All of her questions would be answered the summer before she started high school. Years ago, when Isabella ran off, she had drove to a secluded area in the middle of the untamed forest, where she promptly took her own life. The authorities had just now found what had remained of Lauren's beloved mother. The discovery shattered Lauren, who had hoped that her mother was still alive after all that time. Lauren decided then and there that she was going to become a different person. That innocent, starry-eyed little girl was gone now, and she was never coming back. She and her father moved down to Willowbridge, where she started high school. They remain in Willowbridge to this day.

  Despite these pictures showing you otherwise, Bennett Ryder is nothing but a miserable ol' grump. Call him an old soul if you want, but sometimes it feels as if Ben's a crotchety old man rather than a twenty-something. Long afternoons on the farm, paired with gig after gig seemingly every night lead to a night owl lifestyle. And if you dare wake him up before his alarm clock does, be prepared to face his wrath. But there's a deeper side to ol' Benny-boy. Deep within himself, he's a melancholic soul, looking for something more out of this cold world. This can be reflected in his music - his loneliness can be felt from miles away while he strums his fingers on a guitar, moaning those lonesome blues. All of his past relationships and failures has led him to believe that he can be easily replaced.
  
  So what does this mean? In Ben's eyes, it means that love is unattainable for him...at least, a permanent kind of love. No one sticks around long enough for that to happen. Who would, with the way he talks down about himself? All he wants is to be loved. All he wants is to love somebody. But no one will grant that luxury to him. So when he gets lonely, he hops from bed to bed, leaving feelings behind. Trading all that emotional crap in for temporary satisfaction is so in these days, anyway. No one could ever love someone as beastly as himself. Nothing's going to save him from his own self-destruction. His crutch? His music...and the bottle. Anyone recalling a certain country great who lost the battle to the bottle? No? Just me? Anyway, he's lost all hope of making it in this world, plain and simple.

  The Ryder family farm has been in operation since 1962, when a then-forty year old Robert John Ryder decided to ditch the big city behind for a rural lifestyle. He had just married a local teacher, Mary Alden, and their first child was on its way. Mary would leave the education field for good in order to raise the child, who turned out to be a girl. They named her Lisa, and not long after, a son arrived. Michael would inherit the farm, because to be honest, it was the 60's, and Robert was old as hell to begin with. Poor Lisa. At least she got to be self-sufficient later on in the 80's as a single mother of three. But anyway, back to Robert and Mary.
  
  They didn't stop with just two kids. Why would they? It's not like overpopulation's a big problem...oh wait. They didn't know it - he was a farmer, and she was a housewife. But I, the omnipotent writer of this history, know that. Shame on you, Robert and Mary. Shame. David, Susan, and James were babies three, four, and five, coming in quick succession. Mary had had five children within the span of seven years. Her body was tired. So no more baby-making for her, at least for the rest of the 60's...
  
  1971. Surprise, surprise. A thirty-nine year old Mary would fall pregnant once more, this time with twins. Jennifer and Amy were the final two children - Mary had to have an emergency hysterectomy following their birth. Poor Mary.
  
  Anyway, back to Michael, because he's who we're following now. He grew up learning the tricks and trades that the farm had to offer, with Robert preparing him to be the heir to the throne. And when Robert retired in 1987 at the age of 65, it's exactly what happened. Oh, and Lisa? She had gotten married at eighteen, popped out three kids with that bozo, then kicked him to the curb when he cheated on her. Her three children, Jessica, Christopher, and Matthew, turned out alright.
  
  Michael got married in 1994, but the marriage ended in divorce three years later without any heir to the farm. His young nephew Christopher looked to be the heir, but Michael would be damned if he didn't have a son of his own to continue the legacy. So he remarried, this time to Christine Barton. She gave him what he craved, a son. That son would grow up to be Bennett.
  
  But Bennett was strange from the get-go, at least in Michael's eyes. He took to music, rather than the farm, even though he was obligated to help out. And, worse, he came out as gay. No heir? No hair - because Michael's losing it, and fast. Hopefully it's just a phase, he says. But I, the omnipotent writer of this history, know that it is NOT just a phase. #gayrights

  Sage is the youngest of the two Madden children. Born to two wealthy business moguls, Sage and Levi hardly wanted for anything.   Ximena is the youngest of seven children, and one of only two girls in the household. She grew up in Willowbrook on a small homestead just outside of town, a family property that had been passed down through generations. Just after Ximena was born, her mother fled the family with a man that she had met while shopping one day, leaving Ximena to be raised in the majority by her older brothers and her father. Despite such a heavy male influence in her life, Ximena ended up growing up soft and tender, eventually taking on a matriarchal role in her family. Her eldest sister, Lucia, was the oldest of the children and Ximena's half sister, having been born to her mother during her teens. She got out of the family quite young, wanting more for herself than life on the farm.
  
  Ximena, however, was more than happy in the country. She loved tending the fields, spent countless hours in the barn reading to the animals or just being with them. Her heart and soul was poured into everything that she did, from cooking to tending crops to selling goods to raising baby animals. It was no surprise when, upon graduating high school, Ximena jumped at the chance to study agricultural sciences at Willowbrooke.     One of the kindest people you will ever meet, Leo is softhearted and friendly. He welcomes everyone he meets with open arms, ready to help them however he can. He's pretty shy though and keeps to himself often, so he doesn't have too many friends. He'll gladly hold a friendly conversation, you'll just probably have to start it. He can get nervous when approaching people, afraid he'll come off as awkward or dorky. And he will come off as both awkward and dorky... but it's endearing in a sense. He is very book-smart, and often hyper fixates on whatever he is currently learning about- rambling on about that subject forever. Petty academics obsessed, he's the kind of guy who will loose sleep over a getting a B. He is super genuine (a terrible liar, he couldn't be fake even if he tried), which makes people trust him easily. Quite reliable, he'll make promises he can stick to and will always be there when you need him to be.
    Leo is a bit of a hopeless romantic and has developed a lot of crushes over the years. Usually he panics and avoids whoever is the object of his affection, but he spends a lot of time daydreaming about them. He gets frequently lost in his own little world and can often be seen spacing out, staring out of windows or at random walls.     Leo grew up in an extremely large family, three brothers and a sister. Born the middle child of Hailey and Scott Barber he never felt alone. Two of his brothers, Victor and Matt, are older than him, and his other brother and sister, Richie and Ramona, are younger. He was very much the black sheep of his siblings in his youth, they were very loud and chaotic while he was the shy kid. When he was younger he tried to just blend into the background, but that backfired and got him more attention from his parents. They were constantly worried he wasn't doing as well socially as his siblings. Still, he was a smart kid and stood out academically in school, he really loved learning as well. He got picked on by his siblings sometimes, and bullied a little at school. But, anyone who wasn't family that picked on Leo had to answer to his much more athletic brothers, which served as a deterrent.
    Leo did pretty well in high school, mostly keeping to himself. He was popular... among teachers. Always at the top of his class. He kept a small circle of closer friends, which suited him just fine. Hanging out with a lot of people at once made him nervous anyway, he preferred to spend time alone. His family wasn't the best off financially, so him and his siblings all got part time jobs as soon as they could. He worked at a fast food joint during high school, intending to save up for college. When college acceptances came, he got a lot of acceptances to some really good schools- but not that much financial aid. He decided he'd rather not have to take out that large of a loan and enrolled at the place that cost the least for him- Willowbridge University, which gave him a decent scholarship and was only a couple towns over from his hometown. He's mostly been keeping a low profile during his time in university, keeping his head down and just trying to graduate at the top of his class.     Jack of all trades, master of none. Monica has always been smart, but she also lacks the drive to do anything really ambitious that pushes her to be great at something. She often feels stuck in life, unsure of how she wants to progress- aimlessly trying new things in a consistently unsuccessful attempt to figure out what she wants to make of her life. Despite this lack of direction, she has a ton of energy and always needs to be doing something. This is funneled into a random array of hobbies and interests that come and go on a sporadic basis. Because of this she has a bunch of random knowledge and skills that she just doesn't feel passionate enough about to get really good at. Her craving for something that makes her feel that spark causes her to make impulsive plans and decisions to chase some fleeting joy, she doesn't really care about the outcome.
    Monica is a people person at heart. She loves socializing and people tend to like socializing with her. She's really fun and humorous, so if you're always down for some excitement you might enjoy befriending her. An extrovert, she love partying and getting to know new people. As a part of her impulsiveness, sometimes she has no filter and can be blunt. Sometimes this gets her into trouble, but if anyone gets hurt by her bluntness she feels genuinely guilty and tried to make amends.     Monica was born into a pretty average life. Her father, Kiaan, is an engineer, while her mother, Ira, opted to stay at home to raise her child. For two years they lived in middle class suburban bliss. Then, Monica's younger sister Bela was born. Bela was born premature and with chronic lung disease. This was of great concern to Monica's family, and although Bela's CLD became less extreme after the first year, she continued to have issues and complications. In Monica's early years she could often be found in the waiting rooms of doctors offices. Her parents also sent her to an array of different extracurricular activities in elementary school, in an effort to keep her occupied as they looked after Bela. Monica became the lost child. She held no ill will towards her sister, in fact the two got along quite well, but she resented her parents for never seeming to care about her. Naturally, her parents didn't notice this resentment and Monica was left to figure out life on her own.
    As she got older, Monica continued an array of random extracurricular activities but none of them ever felt quite right for her. Newspaper club, soccer team, photography club, knitting club- you name it, Monica has probably given it a shot. She also worked various customer service jobs while in high school, mostly to occupy time and gain funds for reckless ideas. She didn't try too hard on schoolwork, it was never of interest for her, but regardless she managed to get excellent grades without putting much effort into it. Monica acted out a little, making impulsive decision such as going on last minute road trips without notifying her parents so she went missing for days on end or going to parties and drunk dialing her parents. The most she got was a head shake and a sigh, they didn't even bother disciplining her.
    Eventually, Monica decided that maybe instead of working herself to death, trying every trick in the book, to get her parents attention, she could just get away from them to try and make a life independently from her family. She applied to colleges and got into Willowbridge, which was across the state from her hometown. Still, her parents did not care. They worried more about the funds that going to college would require and how they could manage that on top of Bela's medical bills. Monica assured them they wouldn't have to worry, she had already saved some money from working through high school would get a job to cover her expenses. As soon as college started she left home and didn't look back. She very rarely visits home, only going back once a year for her sister's birthday. She got a job as a server at O'Hara's to support herself. She has changed majors four times- entering as a psychology major, then became an architecture major, then history, and is now a philosophy major. She tries really hard to be above average, but her hard work often just allows her to maintain her average status. One of the things she really tries hard at is being a good leader, despite having no natural leadership skills. With a strong work ethic, she'll get there eventually- but not without putting a lot of time and effort into the things she wants to accomplish.
    A very kindhearted person, Riley only ever has the best of intentions. She tries to be helpful and will always be there when you need her most, making her a loyal friend.     Riley has had a really uneventful life. She is the second daughter of Tabitha and Freddy Dixon, Tabitha works a high school teacher and Freddy works as a banker. She had a sold middle class, nuclear family life. Her older sister, Elizabeth, always seemed to be naturally talented. So, Riley really looked up to her. From a very young age she worked hard to try and replicate her sister's perfection. She never came close, but was met with an obviously disingenuous praise from her parents. All she ever wanted was for them to be genuinely impressed by her. Her mistake was probably following after her sister, since she would always be in Elizabeth's shadow just trying to do whatever she did, but she only realized this a bit later
    In high school, she focused on academics. Since her sister got good grades, she wanted to get good grades. And she got decent grades, nothing to unimpressive. Her sister went to school for pre med, so Riley decided to do something in the medical field. While she didn't get into an ivy school like her sister, she got into Willowbridge University as a pre med, but found she fell short academically in the first year. Realizing if she continued on she'd never live up to the expectations her sister set, she changed her major to nursing. She worked really hard and graduated with a decent academic record. She got a job as an RN quickly, and stayed in Willowbridge. you'd think that a girl like her would be outgoing, right? well, this is simply not the case for brianna. however, we'll get to that in a minute.

for starters, she's observant. this sort of gives her ease when she's going into certain situations in which she's not so sure about. it allows her to brace herself for whatever may be coming her way. another thing about her is that she's kind — while she may not be the most 'out there' in terms of things, she's a little sweetheart (call it southern hospitality, i guess). one thing about her that people seem to forget (and are thus caught off gaurd by) is her wit. she can be quite witty when the situation calls for it.

however, she's more on the introvert side. not everyone who comes from a family with money is the most outgoing. she's quiet, so she really opens her mouth when she has something to say. another thing about her is that she can be a little bit on the cynical side when it comes to people's intent with her. she has watched people come in and out of people's lives, coming in with a smile and leaving them heartbroken, so can you blame her for being a little bit cynical about certain things? easily-embarrassed. this is not the best trait to have when you come from a family like hers.

history

once upon a time, in the first december of the 21st century, a little girl was born — brianna anne washington. she was the second daughter, but the third and final child in total. they were born in charlotte, north carolina. she was born into a family of influence. her father did business, while her mother was a little bit of socialite. that meant that from the moment she was born, there was a little bit of pressure on her to be the perfect daughter. however, she gets to relax a lot more than her older sister, who is the oldest and, thus, the heir to their father. as the youngest, brianna is not (and will never be expected to) inherit anything dealing with any sort of business.

growing up, they could see right away that she wasn't going to be the most outgoing and that's not what they wanted. they wanted for her to be as outgoing as the rest of her siblings, but she sort of just kept to herself. so, in an attempt to try and fix this, they wanted her to go into theater. she was set for a part in 'annie' (molly), but the play ended up getting cancelled due to budget cuts, so the plant for her to go into theater fell through, and she ended up sticking with choir instead. to their surprise, she stuck with it, singing for her schools until she graduated.

in middle and high school, she joined cheerleading, something that was a complete surprise to her parents, but she was cheered on anyway. however, it was in middle school, around her eight grade year, that she got her first taste of just how mean people could be. someone she thought was her best friend wasn't really her best friend. she was only really interested in brianna for the clout. she just liked her because she came from a wealthy family. it could be considered her first proper 'heartbreak' because when she found out about it and confronted her, she was left in tears by it. from that moment on, she became cynical when it came to people's intentions with her. it's a protective barrier for if she were to ever get hurt like that again (and it's worked; some people who 'claimed' to have been 'genuinely' interested in her didn't get another date).

college wasn't an option for this family, it was a requirement. so, she knew there was no way she wasn't going. however, she ended up getting into school at willowbridge. she is currently a student at willbridge university.

  Everyone looks at Billie like she’s just your average dumb blonde… and well, that’s cause she is. The girl is smart when it comes to everything plant science related. While she can’t tell you how some people have brown eyes and some have blue eyes, she can tell you all the exact chemicals that make a plant grow and exactly which plants are good or which plants are bad. She doesn’t know why she grew up with this hyperfixation on botanicals but whatever questions you have about this topic, she will be there to help.
  Apart from her smarts in the botanical studies, the girl isn’t the best when it comes to anything involving real life. She doesn’t know how to do her taxes or how to put a deposit down on apartments. Which is why she chose the student life. It fuels her need for partying, boys, and all things fashion and makeup related. She is very spoiled. Her parents have funded everything when it comes to school and her life expenses, as well as doing everything for her. They will pay her car payments, her apartment rent, and travel expenses. What they don’t know is the unlimited credit card they gave her to get through school is often used to also provide her new clothes, makeup, electronics, and her party lifestyle.
  Though she is very wild, Billie can also be quite tame and shy in professional settings. All her professors think she is just some sweet southern bell who moved to the city to get a good education and get away from the farm life. Her peers, though, know otherwise. She is energetic, always happy, and very flirty. She is also naive and will follow everyone through the pits of hell, as long as it leads to a great time in the end.

  Billie was born to your average farm lifers. Her dad spent years on the farm, growing and developing it to what it is now. Her mom is his highschool sweetheart. They met back when they were 13 years old and started dating not long after. It became the talk of the town when they fell pregnant with their first child at 16 years old. Of course, they made the best of the situation and raised their child the way that their parents didn’t raise them. As soon as they graduated highschool, they married and had their second child. Then the third. Then finally the baby, Billie.
  Being the youngest, and the only girl, it didn’t take long for Billie to realize that she could make the best of her situation. She began to work her magical baby sister charm on everyone, gaining toys, clothes, and quite literally, anything she wanted from her parents. With this new skill, she carried it on to school. Her charm worked for getting others to do her homework and getting boyfriends at a young age. Her parents always assumed she’d be the wild child who always got into trouble. And she was. Until she realized her love for plant studies. She aced her own tests when it came to the plant side of biology, and she began to think about carrying this skill on to college.
  At first she wasn’t accepted into any which brought her hopes down. But half way through the summer after highschool, she finally got an acceptance letter to Willowbridge. This is where she began her excellence. Her first year, all she did was study away. Too nervous to get fake ID’s like the rest of the friends she made but eventually when her 21st birthday hit, it was like a new person was unlocked and Billie became the party girl she had once been in highschool.   Bobby ~ The second oldest brother. He always thought it was too cool to tend to a younger sister, so she never saw him much throughout their childhood. Also much older than Billie, he was able to graduate and move out by the time she was 7.
  Matthew ~ The third oldest and her favorite brother. Being only 3 years apart in age, Matthew and Billie were always the closest. They did everything together and went everywhere together.   Alex is something else. He’s just the average small town lifer who grew up driving his truck too fast around town, getting into trouble out of boredom, and developing a care for animals and all things farming. He’s always had a talent when it comes to taking care of animals and raising them. He always helped his farm friends collect eggs, deal with sick colts, and tame wild horses. But the one thing he truly loved was professional bull riding. Just for fun he and his friends would hop on the bulls and ride out the bucks until one of them fell off and got hurt or something. Not seriously hurt of course. But this is where his career for PBR first started.
  He doesn’t have the smartest of brains, but he is great with giving advice when it comes to all things animals and farming. He is very charming which is what usually gets him out of trouble, he can woo anyone he wants, whether it’s professionally or romantically, Alex has some great charisma. He’s also very passionate about the things he loves.
  Alex has always strived for greatness within his life. He always had to be the best at sports, best at bets, and best at even the smallest things like drinking games. He does sometimes fail but usually he’ll come out on top. This is why when his PBR career ended, he fell into a depression. He had been the best of the best in the state but all that crashed down. Due to the injury, he now suffers with long term memory loss, often forgetting things that are sometimes important in his life such as; exams dates, childhood memories, and even sometimes people he meets. The memory loss varies on what he’s most interested in, which is why he still excels in his field of study at school.

  Alex is an only child to a single mother. His dad skipped out years ago to pursue PBR but they never heard anything from him. Which either means something really bad happened or he just didn’t make it big in the industry. Either way, his mom raised him to be a somewhat splendid young man. As a child he was the golden boy, doing the best with sports and all that. But what his mom didn’t know was the chaos that he and his friends reigned over the town. The boys would get into the smallest things, like spray painting stop signs and stealing beers to go for a cruise and tip cows. But, overall in the day time he was a pretty decent kid.
  Throughout highschool, he participated in local PBR contests. This became a form of income for his mom and winning these competitions fueled him to just do better and keep winning. This eventually led to him becoming a famous professional bull rider in the state of Texas, with dreams of going big in the industry worldwide. He was able to buy his mom a new house, buy himself nice things, and became known as a rising star throughout the country. Fans expected him to win big until the injury happened.
  He hit his head. Hard. Spent months in the hospital with treatments and physiotherapy. It drove him absolutely crazy to push through this hospital stay so that he could get back on the bull. But his doctors told him it would never be possible to do it again. Another injury would lead to worse injury or even death. This drove Alex into a depression for most of his young adult life. It wasn’t until he turned 24 when he began to help his friend on the farm, doing odd jobs to keep some income. That’s when he decided to go to school for agriculture. He had new dreams of owning his own animal farm. He also does smaller PBR contests with less aggressive bulls just to keep his love for the sport alive and win less money than he used to.

    Maddox was born in May 4th, 1998. She grew up on the rich side of Willowbridge, Her dad, Camden was a famous model and her mother was a nobody that her dad fucked and Maddox was born. Her mother after finding out that even becoming pregnant didn't make Camden want to stay with her and marry her. She didn't want shit to do with Maddox and was too late for alternative options so she just left her at Camden's doorstep the week after she was born. Then left off to marry a rich dude in Texas. Maddox has siblings that she has never met and never wants to. Her dad loved her even when she made his life complicated. He didn't care.
    
    The moment he landed eyes on her, he knew that she was everything to him.
    
    The only thing is that she never cried. She never made a sound. Even when she fell. He thought maybe that was something that she just didn't do until she got really sick. He rushed her to the hospital, and the doctors made the discovery that she had CIP or Congenital insensitivity to pain. She couldn't feel pain. Her dad knew that he had to keep a close eye on her but after a year or two staying at home with his daughter, it was time to him to go back to work.     Maddox grew up under the watchful eyes of her nurse and nanny but she never wanted them. She wanted her dad, but he took so many jobs a year that he was only around a few times a year. He gave her everything she wanted but him there. When he was here, he would do everything with her. Play with her, sing with her, make them laugh, as he was the only one who could. Otherwise, she had an emotionless mask on. He just thought that was her personality but it wasn't. When she was 6, her father thought it was time for her to spend time with his family, so he started sending her to her uncle and aunt every other week. They acted so excited to have her when he was around but the moment he was gone.
    
    They called her a freak, tested her CIP, and made her life a living hell. She cooked and cleaned. Didn't talk to her. Basically treated her like she was nothing. Which made Maddox believed she was well nothing. They told her that her mother would rather be away from her, than with her and she believed them. She was broken by them. She learned to keep her emotions in check because one show of them, they just attacked and attacked until there was nothing left. [TRIGGER WARNING] When she turned 12, she found relief in a blade. She may have not felt the pain but seeing the blood drip down made her brain relax and calmed her.     The outcasts took her in, and taught her the ways of being the freaks of the willow. The outcast's parents' was close friends with her dad, and she knew them since they were kids, she didn't really interact with them or talked to them but she tolerated them until she saw them getting ganged up. Now she isn't a violent person but something in her snapped, and she attacked the people. Ending the fight right then and there, she moved to leave but they grabbed her. Maddox glared at them but they grabbed her and pulled her in the bathroom.
    
    Turns out her father spilled to them about her CIP and made sure they knew how to check her for injuries. He wanted someone around her to know what to do.
    
    They checked her for injuries and Maddox never felt anything like this from anyone aside from her father. She felt loved. After that, they were inseparable. It was decided that instead of going with her aunt and uncle to their disagreement, she went to the outcast's hangout. She grew close to them. When she graduated, she watched as her found family flew off to different places, and she just stayed there. She knew what she wanted to do, she wanted to do something in art. Maddox wanted to tattoo, so she got her license and opened her own shop
    
    Once she had enough money, she moved out and into a place. There was now, she still struggles with her self-harming, especially around her uncle and aunt whom she has to see every so often. Her father had passed away a year ago, due to a car crash and she shut off her emotions once again. She slowly became comfortable again through therapy that her brother had gotten for her, to talk only to him and her therapist but no one else. She was a selective mute. After their 18th birthday as they became legally able to be free and able to now do what they needed to do and not hide. They got their GEDs, and got into willow bridge college. Vi. Dreamy, but cut off from the world. The first thing you notice is her dyed hair, her blonde flows into locks that are never taken care of, messy. Her hair and her style are not often found with much color. Either black, white, or tawny. Her ears are pierced to the brim, only wearing cheap silver jewelry. Her makeup consists of dark, full eyeliner, chapstick to keep it simple, and a light blush to help with her pale skin. The second thing you notice is her smile. Vi's raspy voice captivates the soul. She makes eye contact, twirls her hair, and always looks like she is totally in love with you. She’s quick to speak her mind. The way that she carries herself was a more “fuck you, fuck the world.” In high school, she was often known as a viper. One second you were best friends, the second she was spreading lies and attacking you. She’s untrustworthy, a succubus. As soon as she was discovered, she was shut out from the “it world.” She always wanted to have millions of friends, but because of her personality and the way that she carries herself, people feared her. The anger deep inside of her shines through sometimes. She has an outgoing spirit, with an outcasted class. With Vi's struggles with bipolar and addiction, she has a hard time keeping friends. Though, it never bothered her since she found herself more in the lone wolf category. But, she finds drinking to be her way out into the world. She both uses it as a numbing agent and a way to break the ice. When she maintains her inebriated state, she’s found much nicer, and more caring. But, this is just an uncovering of who she really is- someone who’s just trying to find her way in the world.

History:
From a small town in Oregon, she was brought up with one parent, fighting to keep them afloat. She’s a small-town farmland girl, where the family once owned a ranch and kept horses. She grew up country, wearing cowboy hats and keeping her brown hair uncut. Her mother was a bull rider, and her father a rancher. She always had a deep connection to horses and farm animals and rode them daily to school when she was younger. But, what changed? How did she shift into this dark, broody, 90’s chick? It was when her mother passed away in an attack by her father. He’d discovered she was having an affair with his brother, Thomas Colt. Her father shot and killed her when she was 15. Having nothing to do with his only daughter, he moved away to pursue a career in gambling. She was left alone. But, her Uncle dusted her off and adopted her. Transferring to a new high school and moving all the way to a bigger town, Utah. That’s where she met her cousin, Theolonius. Theo was nothing like her. A football star who had everything going for him. She felt jealous. She wished that she could have had a family like him. His family was richer, better set off, and popular. Things began to change for her. She began to discover herself in the upper-class years of high school. She started to find her true calling. She threw her life behind her as a cowgirl and became who she’s always wanted to be. A 90’s alternative, partyer. She kept an old DVD player in her room, with boxes filled to the brim with popular albums, records, and originals her boyfriends or girlfriends had recorded and given to her. She always found the scene of small bands and goths in her home. She then became them. She was always found at old warehouses for startup bands, and cover bands, and loved learning about them. She embraced the idols of the 90s era. Then, college choices rolled around. She refused to go to college. She found it was “entirely pointless” when she could just go to trade school for cosmetology, or marry someone with enough money and a stable job to keep them going. Theolonius’ father promised to keep Vivian from going down a dark path. So, when Theolonius got into Willowbridge, his father paid a large sum to allow Vi to go there. She was ungrateful, but after moving there, she realized that there may be an opportunity to start over. But, old habits never change.

A bubbly, positive character exudes from him. He tries his best in everything he does. His smile is captivating, though his personality is boring to some. He would pick her up off the side of the road, give her advice through football metaphors, and of course, do anything to help her out. He’d put aside his commitments to help anyone out. Though, he does need help with his academics. He isn’t the brightest tool in the shed, but his life advice can be really helpful. History
Theo was born into a rich and popular family in the city of Salt Lake. He was brought up with strong morals, football, and baseball. He’s always used sports as an outlet for his creativity, and a way to release his problems into the universe. As an extremely busy guy, he has a hard time finding space to spend time with his cousin, and to take care of himself. His father, Thomas, pushes him to be his best when it comes to football. But, because of a brain injury at a young age from a baseball hit, he struggles with learning and remembering little details. His two much older siblings from a previous marriage are off on their own lives, so he basically lives alone. His father, a busy man that works all day- left Theo to keep up with his academics. But, his father would never miss his stellar games. A top wide receiver of his high school, and a popular kid- he was fine on his own. He had more friends than he could count. More often than not, on the weekends when his father wasn’t working- he’d host parties at his lavish mansion that sits on top of a hilly landscape in the eastern part of Salt Lake City. But, when he was 15, the loneliness started to get to him. Since his father was a top coach at the University near by- only during the offseason did that get to him. But, things were solved when a tragic incident occurred with his younger cousin, Vi. She’d joined his family, and they lived and went to school together for the rest of their high school years. He loved having a “sister” his age and took care of her. But, her aloofness caused them to drift apart. He wishes he had more time to spend with her and care for her, but he needed to focus on his career in football. In the early months of his senior year of football, he was offered a hefty scholarship to go to Willowbridge- a top competing football team in the middle of the country. He was excited, but he feared his loneliness would consume him, and lose the scholarship. To protect his newfound sister, he refused to go to Willowbridge unless his father was able to get Vivian into the college as well. His father, though reluctant at first- let it happen. Beatrix doesn’t know that Theolonius made this demand. His father built a large home a few minutes away from the college so that Vi and Theo have a place to stay when things get too crazy at school- but it just sort of turned into a party house.

  Background: Moses King is the son of a US General he was destined to be a leader at something. Heck his dad named him Moses because he dreamed his son will be a leader of people not to mention his last name is the same of a popular civil rights leader. As a young child his dad saw that Moses was athletic and gifted enough to play WR so he put him into all types of camps and personal training. Moses always had a secret tension with his dad because he always felt he could never please him. Moses never heard his dad say “I love you” or “I am proud of you” yet Moses mom was his world she was the most loving and nurturing person he knew. Always his biggest cheerleader in anything he did. History: Hayden grew up in a nice home with a nice family so his childhood was great— always had food on the table, a place to sleep— life was good. Hayden’s father had him in football for as long as he could remember, training him and pushing him to the best athlete in Woodbridge. But, sadly that wasn’t the case and things only got worse from there. Growing up, Hayden always had this feeling is discomfort, he couldn’t sit still, he always had to be moving or doing something and he would fly off the handle at even the littlest things.

He got into his first fight at the age of 12, he sent that kid to the hospital, breaking his nose and most of his teeth but with his father being the local university’s football coach and being revered by his community he was let off the hook and every-time after that too. History: Laura grew up in a stable, wealthy household with the whole she-bang. Her parents were mostly MIA. She was raised by her various Nannie’s and was alone for the majority of her childhood but she always had, her pets. Like her horses. So with out having a ton of friend she found the comfort in her equine friends. In school, she never felt like she had any real friends, they all just used her for her wealth and status- if she wasn’t giving to them they didn’t really want anything to with Laura. Eventually, she just decided to be alone, pushing away everyone who gets close to her in fear they’re trying to just use her even though she’s very lonely.

  Naomi looks like she may hold a lot of confidence, but there is a lot that she is actually scared of. She’s not the best with people and will often try to avoid conversations between her and others. She can be a little awkward at times, often saying or doing the wrong thing. And the only time you will see her open up to people is if she is drinking, because there is one thing that she knows; that people are just as bad at social skills as she is when there is alcohol involved.

  Born and raised in an upper class British family, Naomi has only ever known luxury. With nannies always tending to her care while her parents ran their luxury furniture business, Naomi never really grew up close with her family. Julius and Gina Palmer had moved to Willowbridge with their three children, Lana, Celia, and Andrew in tow thirty-five years ago. All three children made their mark on the town, with Lana taking up local politics, Celia becoming a family physician, and Andrew diving into architecture. Enter Marlene Hoover. It was love at first sight when she locked eyes with Andrew, who was freshly out of grad school. They quickly married that fall, starting a new generation of Palmers to run the town.

Marlene and Andrew had seven biological children of their own, Anabel, Eric, Tyson, Eli, Nicholas, Francesca, and Elliott, within the span of ten years. But they still wanted more children to bear the Palmer name. Unfortunately for Marlene, an emergency hysterectomy halted their dreams of having another child. That didn't stop them from going to an adoption agency, however. That's when they were connected with a sixteen year old girl, Ayla Gaines, who was desperate to get rid of the fetus growing inside of her. Marlene began to fake a pregnancy to hide the shame of having to adopt - and to her surprise, it worked. Six months later (Ayla was already three months along when she was paired up with the Palmers), she gave birth to a baby girl, who was immediately taken from its mother and given to Marlene and Andrew. Some people questioned the timing of the newest Palmer's birth - their youngest child at that point was Elliott, who was fourteen months old at the time. Marlene would have had to have gotten pregnant almost right after giving birth to Elliott. But, that didn't matter any. Caitlin Lucille Palmer was here to complete the Palmer family, and that was that.

So, would these Palmer children live up to their dad and aunts' legacies? Time would tell. Each of the oldest six Palmer children had done so. Anabel excelled in the visual arts from a very early age. At thirty, she's got her own gallery to showcase her work, which sells her original paintings and sketches for tens of thousands of dollars a piece. Eric went in the opposite direction, finding his stride in sports. The twenty-eight year old Palmer currently plays minor league soccer, where sold-out crowds cheer him on regularly. Tyson decided to follow in his aunt Lana's footsteps and try his hand at politics. He recently got elected as the youngest mayor ever of the nearby town of Lancaster at only twenty-six. Eli showed promise in music from the time he could pick up a guitar. Guess where he ended up. Yep, the twenty-four year old Eli's a touring musician, playing with the best of the best. His identical twin, Nicholas, enrolled in law school last fall. Twenty-two year old Francesca's taking a page out of her aunt Celia's book and is aiming for a doctorate. The oldest six Palmer are all successful, but when it comes down to the youngest two, only time will tell what will happen.

Caitlin grew up knowing the open family secret of her adoption, and even got to meet her biological mother a few times before her untimely death in a car accident when Caitlin was sixteen. It was a crushing blow to her, knowing that she'd never get to talk to Ayla again. But, she persevered, enrolling in the local college upon graduating from high school. It's where she remains to this day.
