So I have this sort of plot idea deal, idk if you'd be interested. It can be set in modern times, past, whatever. So, a researcher or scientist takes an in-house assistant, a job that was advertised as basically clean, keep the lab organized (after some training), minor help on projects, cook, handle guests when the researcher is busy with a project, etc. But secretly, the researcher is using the assistant as an unwilling, unaware lab rat in a long-term test of the effects of exposure to...something, make up whatever you want. It could even fit into the Marvel universe if you're really hankering for something in that world. Maybe AU, but it could probs. fit even within the canon. I had an idea for a character for the test subject, but I could play either role if you want.
 
I do like this idea and it would be cool to see it fit into the Marvel world. You are right, it'd have to be more of an AU but you can still have cannon characters, they would just be a bit OOC depending on who you went with. I don't know, parts of me really wants to play the assistant.
 
I was actually thinking, if we were to do it marvel, it would work well if it were set in Asgard, with either OC x canon character brought there as a sort of "foreign exchange" deal now that SHIELD knows that it's a real place, or Loki or Tony (taking advantage of Asgardian magic/fucked up physics to do research) x OC (I don't really know what other canon characters would suit the role of a scientist).
 
I can see Loki being the one to take advantage of that. I guess if we wanted to we could do an evil version of Hank Pym.
 
Would you wanna do a femLoki? Cuz I have the perfect character to match that - just the sort of athletic, well-meaning airhead that would get on his nerves...or her nerves, I guess. :P
