So i have been seeing a different variety of names many of them have different meanings or they are just them. I started to wonder.... Why? why did you guys choose your names? I choose mine because it means "the eye" refering to god. I have always been a watchful person for others and also means hot spring i always had a connection with water. hby

My (newest) username, cream.snekkle, was actually suggested by a close friend of mine. With this one, it was really just a play-on-words using the words "creamsicle" (both a type of popsicle and the name of this corn snake morph) and "snake" shortened to "snek".
The reason why I wanted to change to this new username, though, was actually so I could move on and start anew. Plus, sneks are the cutest little noodles, so there's that going for me.

Javax is a username that was somewhat given to me by a long-time friend almost a decade ago. ^^ I used to go by a different user (very edgy, very emo, very cringe, I shall not share), but one day, my friend was having troubles with her Minecraft. I helped her troubleshoot, and all it needed was a Java update. I did that for her via some sorta screen-share tool,. Ever since then she called me Java, and the name just stuck between her, me, and my other friends.

The 'x' came about because I was still very much edgy, so I used to have variations of the username like "xjavaxx" and such, but I dropped the extra x's and now it is what it has been for years. ^^

It's a reference to an anime character that I like.

Society as a whole feels fake to me, like a simulation of the human experience. I've never meshed well with the expectations it provides, so I suppose I'm an anomaly. Simulationanomaly. Easy.

Also my persona/self-insert's name is Anomaly, so it's a double meaning I guess.

Once upon a time, on another site, I changed my username to SeXXXy Sparkling Zombie around the time Twilight was popular. It was a parody of the trope. Since then, it's just the handle I go for anymore.
