I hope you know how to use this because it does get complicated after awhile. But after all of that, you will get a hang for it just like I did. My sister showed me this website so I thought 'why not' .

'Well, moving day great...' The girl thought as she stood in front of an apartment complex. The girl held a few boxes in her hands as she let out a sigh. She began to walk over to the stairs and looks back at her parents who were waving there goodbyes. She let out another couple of sighs and began to reach in her hoodies pocket, pulling out a set of keys from it. After a few minutes, she stood in front of the apartment door and stuck the key in side the key hole. She turned the key and heard a clicking sound to let her know that the door was now unlocked. She pushed the door open with her back and took a few steps inside. She made her way over to what seemed to be her room and laid the boxes in front of the door then began to make her way over to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Before she went to the kitchen, she walked back over to the front door and grabbed her key from the key slot and shut the door, locking it right after. She slipped the key back into her pocket and made her way back to the kitchen to get that glass of water.

Tyler Brigham

18

Male
My name is Tyler Brigham. Red hair, green eyes, 5' 10", hard to miss in a crowd. I'm the son of a wealthy business man, and was forced to come to Japan with him on a business trip, leaving my hometown and school in the States behind. Unfortunately, dad decided to get married and live in Japan, leaving me stranded here as well. I don't speak a lick of Japanese, so this entire ordeal is ten times worse than it should be.

To add salt to my wounds, my dad decided to both throw me into a Japanese high school who's name I can't even pronounce, and he shoved me in a shitty apartment with someone Ive never met. Great. Let's just hope they understand English.

Personality wise, I guess people could call me a loose cannon. I don't really follow a whole lot of rules, and I've been kicked out of a few school for being a "delinquent". If you wanna call skateboarding delinquency, i guess I'm guilty as charged. I'm a fairly laid back guy. Never really one to cause a scene, but on occasion my temper flares up and a punch or two would fly. If you like me, great. If not, oh well.

Clothing wise, I prefer to wear tshirts and pants, plus I always wear my lucky red sneakers. I also usually wear a leather jacket given to me by my older brother before I left. Once in a while Ill wear a hoodie under the jacket if its chilly, and sometimes a hat, but not often.

"Oh geez." The guy looked up at the crappy apartment complex in front of him, holding a piece of paper with the address.
"Thanks, dad. You really fuckin' helped me." He sighed and kicked his board into his hand, then headed up the stairs to his new home far away from home. As he reached the door with a dingy set of faded numbers that was his, he sighed again and fished out a set of keys from his jacket. He put the key in the lock and turned it, unlocking the door. With that he opened the door and looked into the entryway of his new home.

The girl pulled out an earbud and blinked her eyes. After taking a few sips from the glass, she set it down and walked to the front door as she began to hear the door unlock. She stopped in the entryway when she saw a man push his way into the apartment carrying what looked like it could be a skateboard. The girl put her phone and earbuds into her hoodies pouch and kept her hands there. " Can I help you?" She said as she raised an eyebrow.

The guy looked at the girl standing in his entryway, blinking in confusion.
"I'm uh, here to move in to my apartment. Are you the landlord?" He said as he stood in the entrance-way.

The girl laughed and shook her head as she crossed her arms.
"Nope, I live here." She said as she pointed back to the boxes in front of one of the rooms.

"Um, there must be some mistake. This is my apartment. I wasn't told I'd have a roommate." The guys stopped slouching and stood up straight, looking down at the small girl in front of him.

The girl pulled out a set of keys from her pouch and holds them up.
"You were wrong." She said, looking up at the larger guy in front of her.

"Oh jesus, dad, what did you get me into..." The guy muttered under his breath. He sighed and thrust out his hand to the girl.
"The name's Tyler Brigham. You?"

She looked down at his hand and looked back up at him as she turned to walk towards her room to unpack.
"Koneko Toujou" She said as she put her keys away to pick up a box.

Tyler looked at the girl, then back to his hand, then sighed and shoved it in his jacket.
"So which room is mine?"

She blinked and looked back as she opens the door to her room slightly.
"The one by the bathroom." She said as she walks into the room, shutting the door behind her.

"Hoh boy this is just gonna be great. What the fuck have you thrown me into, dad." He walked to his room and opened the door, looking in at the small room. He sees what looks to be a mattress shoved in the corner, and sighed again.
"Room? This place is more like a closet." He walked in and sat on the dusty mattress, putting his board against the wall.

Koneko leaned against her door and sighed as she put her stuff down on the floor. She walked over to the bed in the corner and sat down, looking out the window. She fell back on the bed and looked up at the ceiling as she closed her eyes and tried to catch some sleep before moving the rest of her stuff into the room.

After a while, Tyler heard someone shout in Japanese from the living room. Curious and slightly afraid, he got up from the mattress and peeked out of the door. In the living room, waiting patiently is an elderly Japanese woman. He opened the door all the way and waves to the woman. She looked over at him and gave him a smile, then started speaking quickly in Japanese. Tyler immediately started trying to stop her.
"Ma'am I don't speak Japanese. I don't understand what you're saying."

Koneko awoke from the faint yelling of what sounded like a person than she heard Tyler right after it. She sat up and pulled her hood off of her head as she walked over to her door and opened it. Koneko walked out of her room and took a few steps into the living room as she started to speak Japanese to the elderly woman. She looked over at Tyler and gave him a shrug as she turned her attention back to the woman who took a hold of her hands, smiling.

The woman explained to Koneko that she was their landlady and that they could call her Mrs. Shotawa. She started explaining the ins and outs of the apartments, who their neighbors were, and the general rules of the complex. Tyler looked on as she talked, not understanding any of what she was saying.
"Um, hey. What's she saying?" He said as he looked at Koneko.

Koneko raised an eyebrow as she turned her attention towards Tyler. She sighed and smiled down at Mrs Shotawa as as she walked to Tyler. She crossed her arms over her breasts, her eye brow still raised, "She was saying that she is the landlord as well as the ins and outs of the apartments. She also told us who the neighbors are and just the overall rules of the complex." Koneko said as she turned towards the woman who was nodding her head as Koneko talked.

After a few more hours of translating to Tyler, Koneko shows Mrs Shotawa towards the door and opens it for her. The elder woman walks out of the apartment and whispers something to Koneko, making her face blush a deep red. Koneko shuts the door and sighs as she walks towards the kitchen to finish her glass of water that probably has gotten warm by now. She places her hand on her forehead once she reaches the kitchen," Now let's get something straight here; that side of the house is yours, the other half is mine. Got it? And the kitchen is neutral area. The landlord expects you to go to school and stay there, just like a parent. She also doesn't want any loud music or noises going on." Koneko explains as she sips her glass of water, looking towards Tyler.

Tyler scratched the back of his head and sighed. He looked out at the apartment, gauging the now invisible line that Kone-whatever made. "So what if we get a couch or a coffee table. Do we have to rock, paper, scissors for it? Is one of us just shit outta luck? You can't be vague with these kinds of things. Also, hows the food situation gonna go? Do we get separate shelves in the fridge? Do we have separate dishes?" Tyler started asking a million questions at once, berating the girl for answers and stretching her knowledge of english to its extent.

Koneko sighed and glared at the man in front of here," Well then we have to go to the store then. And we will talk about it Tyler. That's what roommates do. They talk it out. And what do you mean by "shit" is that something american's say or do? Also with the fridge situation, I keep a mini fridge in my room, well two actually so I'll just keep my food there. So which means, the fridge is all yours. We will share dishes if possible so we can save money for rent and other things. With the couch and coffee table, that will be up for debate." She finishes her ramble as she walks to her bedroom door, " I'll go find my wallet and my set of keys so we can leave to the store. " She said to Tyler as she open her bed room door and walks into it.

Tyler stared after her and sighed, rubbing his temples in aggravation. "This is going to be a fun year." He walks to his room at grabs his cellphone off of its charger and looked at his skateboard longingly. With a shake of his head, he shoved his phone in his pants pocket and made his way back out to the living room. Seeing as how the girl (he'd given up trying to pronounce it) was taking her sweet time, he wandered into the small kitchen, opening drawers and cupboards, inspecting them and getting familiar with them. He looked around and noticed there was no microwave in this kitchen. "Gonna have to find order one of those. Snacks don't heat themselves." He continues noting different things that he wants to get after a moment hears the girl clear her throat loudly. He turns to look at her.
