TV & Film Who Is The Best Disney Princess? (A Friendly Argument!)

IvyofStone

The Sort Of Crazy Cat Lady
The question that appeared in my mind;Who is the best disney princess? Could it be the fairest of them all,Snow White? Or the princess who fell asleep and was woken up again by true loves kiss,Aurora?

Either way, the point of this is for everyone to choose a princess and support their argument why they think so and so is the best disney princess! We can also make this into a contest. We can make it were at the end of 7 days or 1 week, we choose who supported their argument best!

I will say something if the princess isn't disney, and I will most defiantly say something if the argument turns mean. I want this to be at least somewhat intellectual so please support your argument with at least 3 sentences. write as much as you want!Good luck, let the Disney Princess Argument begin! And may the odds be ever in your favor! ((I will put in which princess I think is the best later.))

I think Mulan is the best Disney princess, because for a few reasons really. She sacrificed herself for her father and became a solider in the chinese army. I found this very noble so this shows that she has nobility, courage, and bravery. She also got a few men to dress like women, which I found hilarious and a huge accomplishment! Thirdly, she helped in saving China. She cut her hair, saved the prince, and stopped the main bad guy from winning! She obviously comes on top for her courage, bravery, nature, and beauty<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_07/images-3.jpeg.1f47173c37271807b6abd61258ee33ed.jpeg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="22238" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_07/images-3.jpeg.1f47173c37271807b6abd61258ee33ed.jpeg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p><p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_07/images-4.jpeg.720a49d17ee334bb37b2185f2acefbfa.jpeg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="22239" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_07/images-4.jpeg.720a49d17ee334bb37b2185f2acefbfa.jpeg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

If not, then I would probably have to go with Tiana or Tangled. xD

I wish Jane count,but she technically isn't a princess…

Repunzal from tangled, because she is brave in her own way, kind hearted and adventurous plus it's funny with how little she knows but I love her back story the most.

I think Pocahontas is the best Disney Princess. I am a huge fan of the Native American culture and I loved her story. She is also very beautiful. Pocahontas was my favorite Disney movie. (Besides The Lion King. You can never beat TLK)

Moderator Notes To spare this thread from Open Discussion randomness (because it was original posted in Open Discussion but moved into General Discussion) and is starting to have an actual discussion, I have separated the more random comments from the more serious content. I personally enjoy Mulan too @IvyofStone for the same reasons. Its because she very proactive throughout the movie and isn't afraid of challenge. Mulan actually feels like an adult in a lot of ways (even though she making a lot of mistakes).

Though I will say Ariel from the Little Mermaid is one of my favorites because she actually acts like a teenager. Especially when she agrees to things far beyond her comprehension in spite at her father (granted she was upset and stuff).

Awesome,thanks!

Yay Mulan! I'm so happy I'm not the only one who thinks she is a great character! Anyways, I'll go ahead and start the contest now, then next Wednesday we'll decide who supported their argument best! :D

While I'm not sure she counts, I'm going with Megara from Hercules. She's got the best romantic motivation in my opinion, and she's a fairly likable character.

Also, Mulan's an awesome character^^

Even though I haven't finished the whole movie, I think Elsa from Frozen is a strong contender for best Disney Princess. Not only is she considered physically and mentally powerful, she is a great example of true love not always meaning romantic love but can also mean the love and bond between siblings, such as her relationship with Anna. In addition I personally find her very relate-able in that she has been oppressed most of her life and then finally being able to set herself free from the things holding her back. (In other words, "letting go"). So in these regards she has to be one of the best, if not THE best Disney Princess.

In the beginning of Frozen, she was a princess. But like a few disney princesses she became a queen. Just like Cinderella, sleeping beauty, snow white, Ariel...

I am thinking Thor (from the newly release Thor comic, Oct. 1 2014 - yes female Thor legit bitches and not just Thor turned into a girl) would be one of my personal favorite person )going from the non-traditional / within the canon Disney line of princess). Followed by Princess Leia, because FUCKING STAR WARS! >D

Yeah but she's not owned by Disney, where as Mavel is thus you could in theory include female princess in the Marvel verse as Disney Princesses. Much in the same way you could include princess from the Star Wars universe in that mix, as it too is owned by Disney.

I have three favourites to choose from, and I'm really torn between which one I like most.

Mulan is no princess, by the way... she marries a general, not a prince. But i think she still counts.

Anyway, i'm not sure i could ever actually pick... Belle, probably.

Obviously, each have their own strengths -- and faults. Personally, I choose Belle and Elsa (pre-Queen) for their sincere desire to help people and sacrifice a lot to achieve that, yet not buckle under that cost or become nonentities.

I'd like to also put a vote in for Kida, though. Her focus and interest on recovering her own civilization's slowly eroding past was a nice change from the usual story.

I like ariel cause she is really pretty well there all very beautiful but i like her better because her hair is red lol It goes with mine :)
