Who are you...?

Aaron jumped away from his sister and ran towards the source of an odd smell, where he encountered to strangers. "Did someone say candy?!" he asked, a huge smile across his face.
 
"Candy..?" Lira had asked, eyes wide. She didn't think she had ever had candy. She didn't really know what a crystal was either.

Lira suddenly Turned to blankly stare in Aaron's direction. She made no movement to speak however, and seemed to be waiting for something.

"Who is that?" Lira asked, still staring in Aarons direction.

The girl blinked, uncertainty in her expression. "Hello..." She said, and suddenly she turned around in a circle slowly, trying to locate her sister. "Where's Sonya..?" She asked quietly.

"Aaron..." Hanna sighed, finally catching up to him. "You shouldn't run off like..." She trailed off, looking between Lira and Hannibal. Hanna walked the few steps to Aaron and took his hand tightly, watching Lira carefully. "Sonya!" She yelled down the Alley and edged slightly closer to the girl.

Sonya came bolting when her name was called, sheathed her sword in a blink of an eye and leaped at Lira and grabbed her, dragging her close with first a look of worry, which turned into a scowl, and a moment later was neutral.


Lira heard Hanna edging closer but made no movement, until suddenly grabbed and asked "What were you doing?!" Lira meekly shrugged, happy Sonya was here. She always felt better when her protective sister was around,

Hanna smiled slightly in appreciation of the sister's love. She looked down at Aaron and wondered if she was a good sister to him. Then she laughed under her breath. Of course not, she'd never be. Well, she kept him fed well enough, he should be happy.
 
Hannibal breaks off a piece of his candy crystal. "Here." Hannibal gives the two pieces to aaron and lira.

Sonya snatched away the piece meant for Lira and stared at Hannibal as she demanded, "What is this?"

"Isn't crystal a type of rock?" Sonya asked bluntly, holding the candy by her thumb and forefinger, switching her suspicious gaze from Hannibal to the rock. Lira was silent at Sonya's side.

Hanna frowned and took the piece to inspect. "...Oh, these?" She looked uncertainly at Hannibal, then let Aaron have the piece. "You remember these, don't you"
 
"Its candy in the form of a rock. It is not harmful to the jaw." He said. Ha nods at hanna.

Aaron stared at the piece of rock for a few seconds, trying to remember what it was. Slowly and hesitantly, he took a lick. "Wow!" he said. "Delicious!" He shoved the whole piece in his mouth and began sucking on it.
 
Aaron's expression was so rapturous, Hanna could help a smile. "So I take it you like it."

Sonya reltulently passed it back to Lira, eyeing the others as she said, "Try it."


Lira slowly put it into her mouth and ate it, liking the sweet taste.
