Welcome to Whitelight Academy​

Welcome to the prestigious Whitelight academy, here you will learn to hone your magical skills and harness the energy that is growing inside of you. Please remember that it is with hard work, focus and dedication that you will be able to preform these magical gifts that were bestowed upon you. As with any normal educational facility there are a few ground rules.

1. There is a male and female dormitory, no one of the opposite gender should be caught in the wrong dormitory.
2. The use of magic to harm a student, faculty member or anyone else is expressly forbidden.
3. The use of magic when off campus is expressly forbidden.
4. Damage to any campus property will not be tolerated, controlling magic is a dangerous art to master, so be cautious when using it in different environments.

Students should be aware that any violation of school rules can and may result in the immediate expulsion of the guilty parties.

Madame Fay​

The warm sun of the day beat down on her back as she arranged some of the flowers in the main courtyard, her hands moving gently as the flowers seemed to move with her will. A gentle hum resonating from inside her chest as she was working hard to create the perfect feeling with the flowers. Though each time she would stop, her eyes would be caught by a flower out of place that she needed to move, perfection, a demand she would meet.

Time passed as she played with the flowers until she realized the students should be arriving soon, a sudden jump had her off with a quick pace to the front gate of the academy. A pick of lint here, a smoothing of a hair there and she felt she was ready to meet the new students that would be arriving. A tall stance, with high posture left her looking a little tight but she smiled non the less as a pair of grounds keepers opened the gates.

Arms outstretched she smiled wide, the pupils in front of her filled her with joy as she took a few steps towards them. "Welcome everyone to Whitelight academy!"​

Azura Kayleith

Sleepily, Azura rubbed her eyes as she awaited the gates to open. She had arrived at the gates much too early, most likely mistaking the opening time. Therefore, she had sat down on a small wooden bench to rest her legs, as standing for an hour didn't seem like the most enjoyable activity for her. She prepared for this day quite thoroughly, even setting 8 alarms instead of her usual 5, and yet she still managed to feel sleepy. Her messy magenta-coloured hair rested on her shoulders, as her mind began to wonder about what she could do, if she trained her powers.

Dreams of wielding a pencil with her mind, without even moving her body, appealed to her greatly, being the easygoing person she was. She even began to ponder whether it would be possible to sketch, outline and paint her drawings, all at the same time, if she became skilled enough with telekin...She struggled to remember the actual name of the magic she was going to train. Telekinetics? Her mind began to drift away into nothingness, pondering non-existent names, as she grew sleepier and sleepier.

Suddenly, she was snapped out of her daze by a voice welcoming all the students. Examining the woman closely, she quickly deducted that the woman was the headmistress, or some other authoritative figure. As she slowly walked through her new school gates, she smiled dazedly at the woman, admiring the well-kept silver hair she had.

Sarah

Sarah was getting close to the school and her nerves were getting the best of her now. "Don't worry. You will be fine." Her hairband said as she sighed. She had never learned to control her magic well, so the fact that her objects randomly came to life was a big pain to explain to people. It was normal for her, or at least she thought it was.

As she walked up to the gate she noticed a girl was sleeping nearby. Thinking about waking her, she moved close when her hairband spoke again. "You should leave her alone. It might end badly." It said as she listened. She turned to the gate looking at it's wonder as her blonde hair flowed in the wind. She smiled softly as she realized she was 'home.'

Suddenly she noticed the woman open the gate as the girl also woke up and she started to panic. This caused her bag, her book, and her hairband to all come to life and start speaking at the same time trying to calm her down. It was going to be a rough time at this school and Sarah knew it.

Nova was taking her time with getting ready to go to school, since she knew that she was going to get to hug a random person from out of nowhere here. 'I wonder of who is going to be the lucky person to get a hug from me at school, since I don't mind of who is it. Because I will automatically make them become my bestie here.' thought Nova, as she flew out of her house.
As Nova was eventually getting closer to the school; she spotted a interesting magenta haired girl walking through the gates here. 'Perfect.' thought Nova, as she took a nose drive towards the ground, gently landed, and went to go hug Azura without warning here. "Hiya." said Nova, who was still hugging Azura. There was also rabbits, squirrels, deers, a freaking bear, and chipmunks in a nearby forest too.

Queenie




Queenie stood high above the school grounds, at least 50 feet in the air. She seemed to be standing on nothing, but to her, it was nothing more than walking on a translucent floor as she walks to where a Red Cardinal was flying and put out her finger. The small red bird landed on her finger and looked at her quizzically. Queenie did not smile, she did not move, she only looked at it in an almost wonder like stare, despite her voidance of emotion.

Eventually, after about 30 minutes or so, she moved and the bird left her hand in search of food. Done with her task Queenie begins walking downwards through the open air as if she was stepping down steps. Each touch of her foot revealed a pink flash, as if to notify something was solid there. She could use her power to make it invisible but kept it so, as a safety precaution. She eventually stepped onto the stony earth and walk to the Head Mistress and simply looked up at her, staring.

Once the gates of the school had come into view, Victor stopped briefly to confirm that his hair and clothing were in presentable shape before approaching any further. There were already students gathered, he noted, and he needed to make sure the first impression he made would be a good one. He'd even spent some extra time the previous evening debating if he should arrive extra early to give the air of a diligent student or enter the scene fashionably late instead, as perhaps he'd be able to catch the attention of the other students that way. Of course, being late to any notable degree would also likely invoke the ire of the staff as well, which was far from Victor's desire. In the end, he decided he would strive to arrive at a reasonable time, as it wouldn't be his timing but rather he himself which would catch the attention of the others.

When he'd confirmed his hair and clothing were indeed acceptable, Victor walked the rest of the way to the school gates, keeping a steady posture as he did so, and commented a brief, "Good morning" to those closest. He didn't want to seem entirely unapproachable of course just impressive.

He didn't have very long to wait before the school gates opened and the students were greeted by, as Victor assumed from context, likely the headmistress or some other higher up member of the staff. He turned his attention towards her to listen to any opening speech or comments the staff member may have prepared.

ENNIO

Ennio sat in his classroom, the silence gnawing away at him. Should he attend the opening ceremony? He knew he had better make up his mind quickly, for it would be starting very soon. He sighed, leaning back in his desk chair. He was going to be spending years with the children who would soon be standing outside the gates. It probably wouldn't be a very good first impression to not show up at the opening ceremony. Though, Ennio didn't care for first impressions that much.

Deciding that he better attend, he stood from his chair. He pushed it back under his desk before straightening his jacket and cracking his knuckles. Here he was, throwing away his life to help people. By teaching. Lord, have mercy on his soul.

He exited the classroom, his shined shoes tapping against the ground in a rhythmic pattern. He soon found himself at the front of the school and took place behind the Headmistriss, far enough to not been too well seen but close enough to see what was happening.​

Elleviss arrived just moments after Victor. Her attention was temporarily focused on making sure her dress was clean and her hair was smooth and looked right flowing slightly behind her. She wanted to turn up looking at her very best and hoped to make some new friends in the academy, as well as learn much more from the professors and other students.

Walking up to the gates, she looked around at the other students and smiled, cheerfully greeting with a loud hello, before tilting her head up to admire the academy, only to be amazed at someone high up in the air slowly descending on what seemed like an invisible staircase. She hadn't entered the academy grounds and she was already witnessing something amazing to her. Giggling to herself, she then looked at the lady welcoming them. This was most definitely the headmistress.

"I'm so glad to be able to study here!"

Looking around, she then freezes up slightly. She wasn't entirely sure if her mind or eyes were playing tricks on her. She was staring at a bear and several other animals that seemed to gather nearby.

"Umm...why exactly is there a whole bunch of animals here? Especially the bear..."

Sarah

Sarah heard the girl call out and almost freaked screaming softly. Her objects suddenly turned to the girl. "Way to make her freak out." Her hairband said as he bear jumped out of her bag and walked over to the girl and started to kick her with his stuffed leg. "Don't you make my Sarah freak out. She is harmless." He said as Sarah just grabbed the bear and caused all of her objects to cease living. "I... I am so sorry." She said as she blushed and started to walk away from the girl.

She walked up near the headmistress and waited for instructions. All she needed to do was find her room so she could be alone. Then find a nice tree to be alone near. That was her goal for the day and she hoped to get to meet it soon. Her hairband reawakened again to tell her that everything would be okay, but Sarah cut it off but making it inanimate again. 'Why does this keep happening.' She thought nervous and scared.

Elleviss was surprised to see the hairband on one of the girls talk to her, followed by a stuffed bear hopping out and kicking her, though since he was stuffed, there was no harm. Seeing the girl quickly grab the bear, blushing as she apologized before walking away, Elleviss felt a bit bad for scaring her. Walking up to the girl, she lightly tapped her on the shoulder with an apologetic smile on her face.

"Hey, sorry if I scared you just now. You're nervous huh? Shy too maybe? Well, this place should be fun for us, and since we're going to be students here, let's get along with each other! My name's Elleviss, though you can call me Ellie. What's your name? Oh and I'm curious about your magic too."

Elleviss held her hand out for a handshake. Normally she would add electricity to her hand as well, but with the girl being this nervous, pulling a prank on her would just make things worse.

Sarah

Sarah turned around to see the girl that startled her a bit. "I... It's okay." She said as she slowly moved her hand. Just before she made contact the bear jumped out of her bag again and into her hand. "No one touches my Sarah without my permission." He said as Sarah just blushed bright red. "Teddy!" She pleaded in a soft voice. "You know I want to make friends. I won't replace you." She said before kissing the bears nose and in-animating him.

Sarah blushed again as she then shook the girls hand. "I am Sarena, but you can call me Sarah." She said as she took the girls hand. "I... I would like to be friends." She said knowing it wouldn't last long once the girl found out she could animate any object and most times doesn't control it. That's how she always lost her friends. "It... it's a pleasure Ellie." She said trying to smile.

Azura Kayleith
Suddenly, as Azura was sleepily following the crowd to who knows where, arms suddenly wrap around her waist forcefully. Recoiling from the momentum, she swore she was just about to fall, and in her panic she projected the image of the floor to the people around her, unintentionally. Somehow regaining her balance, she proudly stands there for a moment before turning to the girl behind her.

"Hello." She responds with a small smile, as she looks over to the animals beginning to surround the female. "Hey...are they your friends?" She asks politely, gesturing to the crowd of creatures beginning to form. She didn't exactly dislike being hugged, so she didn't feel the need to bring up the subject, as she let her continue to keep her arms around her. "I love your hair." She adds warmly, as she yawned loudly from drowsiness.

Ellie chuckled when the teddy bear jumped out of Sarah's bag and into her hand, spouting that no one was allowed to touch her without permission.

"Aww, seems like you've got a brave knight right by your side. It's a pleasure to be your friend as well Sarah. So what sort of magic is that? Ah let me check my book."

Elleviss then proceeded to take out a rather thick book from her bag and flipped through the pages, before nodding slightly.

"I know! It's either summoning or binding right?!"

With how little experience she had in other branches of magic apart from her own, she was unable to tell what magic was used.

Sarah

Sarah shook her head. "No. Animation magic." She said as she blushed a bit. This was it. This was when she was going to lose the only friend she made. He mind started to panic and her bear jumped out of the bag again. "If you are going to keep this up then leave me animated." He said as he walked down her arm and over to the girl jumping on the book. "You see, she doesn't know how to control her magic, which is why she is here. But she also can't control when things come to life. It has caused..." He was cut off when Sarah grabbed him and closed his mouth. "D... Don't listen to him." She said quickly as she blushed again.

After letting go of Azura for a few minutes; Nova just tilted her head when she mentioned about the animals that started to surround her from the forest. "Well, it's a yes and a no. Because some of them haven't appeared before like that bear over there." said Nova.
The bear just stared at Azura, since it looked like it was hungry here. While the rabbits, squirrels, and chipmunks all came out of the forest, because they were all staring at Nova out of pure curiously.
Nova's eyes then started to sparkle when Azura complimented her on her hair. "Thank you, and I should say the same thing to your hair. Since it has the same color as an fuchsia here." said Nova, before hugging Azura again.

Elleviss frowned when she got the answer wrong, flipping a few more pages in her book before smiling as she tapped it.

"Ah. My bad! Animation magic, let's see...oh! So you can make inanimate things around you come to life!"

She was then cut off by the bear coming to life again and jumping onto her book. Hearing that Sarah couldn't control her magic, and seeing how Sarah tried to stop the stuffed bear from talking any further, she guessed that there had been problems because of that.

"Guess you had some troubles huh? It was the same for me when I found out about my powers. Almost accidentally burnt the house down!"

Giving a sheepish grin as she tilted her head, she then nodded happily as she lightly poked the stuffed bear.

"Well, we're all here to learn how to control our magic! You're going to be fine."

Madame Fay​

​

The sound of all the children talking made her smile even bigger as she was happy to see they were getting along, her hands clapping together to grab their attention. A sharp clear of her throat and she looked around at all the students present. "Welcome all, you have been accepted to the Whitelight academy based on your magical gifts. Some of you will be far more advanced than others, but the main goal of this academy is to bring you closer to mastering and controlling the magic that is within you." The words flowed out like honey as she filled them with her own passion, hoping to make everyone very excited to be here.

The presence of the other teachers causing her to clap again "Ah of course, this lovely lady here is Professor Q, she is your Mental magic professor." She said pointing to Queenie and smiling again, her attention turning back to the other professor she knew had a arrived "Back there, is Professor Ennio Christiansen, he is your Elemental professor." A quick spin and she was facing the students again as she thought for a moment. "And Professor Theo seems to be off working on his own devices again. He is your Arcane magic professor, you will meet him later on."

Reaching into her pocket she pulled out maps and handed them to each of the students detailing where they will need to go for certain things. "For now, you may all go to the dormitories and have a pick at your rooms. Currently there should be a room for everyone." The once happy smile turning to frustration as she flicked her hand and the flowers behind the students moved to her will.​

Allulia
Allulia scowled behind the mask of her grey hood, not too pleased knowing that she was going to be staying with students with powers similar to her own. She had simply wanted to be a normal human being in her safe little society, not to be sent off to a school where magic and other odd races existed, races she had never seen before. Of course, Allulia had known they existed, but she had never seen them in person due to her hometown being rather strict on letting in other species. It was a shame that vampires looked frighteningly like humans. If they at least had some abnormality other than that they had pale skin, long canines and didn't fare well in the sun Allulia could still perhaps be human. Her old boarding school would've refused that one vampire and she would still be there. Or perhaps not. She also came to Whitelight Academy because of her newfound pyrokinetic powers.

As she had entered the academy she was at least thankful that she wasn't going to stick out like a sore thumb. There were many other odd fellows, some much stranger than her. Allulia had spotted a girl with a talking headband, another with blue fairy wings, as well as a whole lot more students she didn't want to particularly interact with. Kicking a loose pebble on the ground, she joined the large group of pupils in front of an adult woman with black ram horns. Well, at least that gal doesn't look too freaky she thought as she looked up at the headmistress, unaware that who she was looknig at actually was the headmistress. The tip of her nose peeked out of the safety of the shadow from her hood, causing Allulia to flinch down and pinch her nose, feeling as if she had just stuck it into a burning hot oven.

Once the speech was done and dusted Allulia began to skulk to the dormitories, hoping not to be spotted or pointed out. She stuck her gloved hands into her pockets and kept her head low to the ground, trying to ignore the multitude of animals that surrounded the one fairy, as well as the talking rucksack. At least Allulia couldn't really summon her pyrokinesis at will (or even accidentally), otherwise a certain person she used to call her friend would be in a hospital bed by now.

Azura Kayleith
"Ah...I think the bear wants some food." She said casually, as she looked at the pitiful face the bear was making."Do you have any food on you? Oh, is that why the animals are here? You feed them?" She asked curiously, wondering if her theory was correct. "Oh, thanks." She smiled as she returned the fairy's enveloping hug. "The rest of my family have similar hair colours actually." She commented as she tried to neaten her hair slightly.

Suddenly a loud noise caught her attention, as she looked back towards the silver-haired headmistress. Her eyes lingered towards the mental professor, Q, throughout her speech, as she wondered what her teaching style would be like, being a mental magic student herself.

Sleepily, she didn't even realize she had a map in her hand until everyone started moving. She'd even already forgotten all the teachers' names. Looking over to the fairy by her side, she asked politely "What's your name?" As she began studying the map. "This place is bigger than I thought." She smiled excitedly, as her eyes portrayed a twinkle of amusement, which was rare in her case. "Let's head over to the female dorms shall we?" She asked with clear elation, as she suddenly took a few steps forward. She began strolling slowly towards the right of the main path, partially waiting for her new acquaintance to come with her.

Sarah turned when the headmistress spoke but Teddy watched the girl that was next to them keeping his eyes on her. As the speech ended the bear took the map and looked around the area. "I think we should go here. It's your favorite number after all." He said trying to show how much he knew about Sarah to Ellie. Sarah looked at it and giggled. "That's the boys dorm Teddy. We can't stay there. But you are right they do have room number 6 in the girls dorm." She said as she looked to Ellie.

She didn't want to outright ask her if she wanted to be her neighbor, but at the same time she didn't want to not ask. So instead her headband came to life and asked. "Ellie, sweetie, up here on Sar-sar's head. Do you want to be our neighbor?" The headband asked as Sarah blushed bright red. She took off immediately to her dorm that she wanted without thinking to wait for anyone.

"I don't have any food on me right now, but most of the time. I do have some food on me, since they keep following me everywhere I go here." said Nova.
She then looked at the rabbits, squirrels, and chipmunks, since Nova wondered if they left yet. But sadly they didn't leave, and even the crows join in on the staring party here. 'Come on, you guys. Please go away, since I don't have any food to feed you here.' thought Nova, since she got a bit worried that they won't be able to feed themselves. Because Nova has to keep feeding them, because she doesn't know how to turn off her power here.

When Azura mentioned that her family have a similar hair color; Nova just gave a smile here. "So your whole family have the same fuchsia color then. ...I don't mind about that, since I like calling your hair color a fuchsia here. Because I have a bunch of those magenta flowers at my house." said Nova, since a little fairy like her would have a bunch of flowers everywhere. Because her tiny little house is in a meadow after all.

Nova then looked at the silver-haired headmistress with no concern, since she was bit more interested with Ms. Q. Because Nova already knew that she was going to be her teacher, since she is a mental student just like Azura here.

After receiving her map, Azura asked Nova about her name here. "Oh. My name is Nova, and we should head towards the female dorms right now. Because all of the animals that are here right now are creeping me out a bit." said Nova, as she followed Azura. All of the animals ended up following Nova, since they can't help it because of her power.

Queenie



Queenie watched the children move about to their dorms before returning her attention to Madame Fay. "Mistress..." She said whispered as if she was in a tired like state. "There are considerably fewer children this cycle...Something is off." The pink haired girl said staring unblinkingly at the taller demon. "I can look into that later...But can we go to your office now? I want to play chess.." She said tugging on Fay's dress lightly. Queenie's eyes remained unblinking, instead, they seemed to shine and dim. "Anyways, the children seem to be doing fine as of now. You've saved them, Mistress."

Fay turned around to looked at her and smiled a little "Queenie, I've told you that you don't need to call me Mistress." She watched the students disappear towards their dorms and smiled again nodding at Queenie "You are right, less students have come forward with magical abilities, so we have less applicants." She explained as she turned towards the back of the school. "Yes, come now we will play a round of chess, even though you always win." She grabbed Queenie's arm and walked with her to the back of the school to a smaller building that she didn't mention on the map. It was the professor's dormitory, the building was like a regular house with two floors. Opening the door she walked into the lounge and sat down at the chess table "Do you think we should do a demonstration of abilities that the teachers have for the children?" She asked as she started to arrange the pieces for chess.

"I think it would be important to do so. We could give them aspirations to reach our levels, or we may end up making them feel as if they are inadequate. Those are the two outcomes that seem to make the most sense to me." Queenie said quietly as she moved a pawn forward. "Though how to do it is to be decided. We could spar, but which wouldn't mean restraint, or we could intentionally release an aggressive creature and obliterate it. There's also a simple demonstration as well Mistress."
