✯ Raccoon Catcher ✯
The Story
Whitehill Academy of Fine Arts has a reputation of producing some of the best arts students in the nation. Actors, filmmakers, painters, fashion designers – all types scramble to apply at the very prestigious school. A degree from Whitehill Academy is basically a guaranteed job. No doubt that it’s well deserved, too. Between a rigorous curriculum, fulfilling side projects, and fighting for internships, the students barely have time to breathe.
Professor Black and Victoria Greene have been at each other’s throats for as long as anyone there can remember. They often have bitter disagreements which ultimately end with Victoria being handed a detention. Though, the connection between is undeniable – even if it’s a mutual hate for each other. Regardless, the head of the school has had enough. It is unprofessional for both of them to constantly fight. So, in an attempt to make amends and display the school’s professionalism, they both had to attend the Annual Whitehill Masquerade Benefit as representatives of the school. While their main objective is to gain benefactors, other motivations may become evident as they night progresses. Will true emotions show behind masked faces? Or will this bitter rivalry never end?
Your Character
Bradley Black is one of the top, if not the best, professor at the best arts college in the country – Whitehill Academy of Fine Arts. He is not easily impressed and has nearly impossibly high standards. Expecting only the best from his students, he rarely smiles, let alone compliments anyone. The nicest thing he ever said to a student was that they’re performance didn’t make him want to gouge his eyes out. Imagine being on the other end of the spectrum. Not only is trying to please him virtually unfeasible, but he also hates anyone who isn’t entirely genuine.
The guy is basically an all-around asshole to everyone for no reason. So, why is he so popular? He has the widest range of knowledge in all arts among all the staff, his recommendation could take you miles in this city, and he is undeniably, irrefutably gorgeous. There are even rumors that he’s not a complete ass outside of the school environment. Some other professors say that he is ‘tough on his students’ because ‘he cares about them.’ Pfft. Yeah, right. How could a man like that care about anyone?
My Character
Victoria Greene is an ambitious and passion film student. Though she may be a bit headstrong, she cares deeply for anyone she befriends. Victoria is determined to make a name for herself as a genuine artist among the scum of the industry. That is, if Professor Black doesn’t stand in her way. He has had it out for her since day one. He is constantly critiquing every move she makes, every word she speaks. Every time she makes a small mistake, he sure loves to rub it in her face with his sarcastic comments and underlying tone of “I told you so.”
Victoria isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and push back. Professor Black may seem to hate her but that won’t stop her from fulfilling it dream. Actually it may, if she keeps getting in trouble at the rate she is now. Spending extra time one on one with Professor Black is modern day torture. How can a guy with such a perfect life be such a jerk to everyone?
Misc
I would like someone who will be on often and post multiple times per day. I would also like responses to be a minimum of two paragraphs. That's in the ideal case. If you really want to do this story line but can't meet those expectations, I'm willing to be lenient. The character of Professor Black is open to your interpretation. Above is just a rough outline of the character. The story is rough as well and I'm open to suggestions. Please pm me if you're interested. I'd like to start ASAP! Thanks!
