Just a heads up for anybody who requests for sign-up, I am about to head to bed. I will answer requests in the morning, in about 6 hours time.

overview

Welcome letter:

Congratulations!

You have been accepted to Whitehall University. Please respond quickly, as seats are limited. Enclosed, you will find general information including a list of rules and a map of the campus.

Thank you for applying, we hope to hear back from you soon.

Whitehall University Office of Admissions

Brooksdale, California

This is a small fictional university role play, Slice of Life style.

The different years are Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. No transfers are allowed at this university, so you are either already in the university or this is your first year.

Character chart is as follows:

Name

Age/Year (no young teenagers please)

Appearance

Personality

Major

We could use some more male characters if anybody would like to join in.

maps

Brooksdale is a fictional small town in California, USA. Basically if it did not have Whitehall, it would not be interesting.

The climate is warm year around without much precipitation.

The landscape is California hills, inland, and not on the coast.

Seven buildings occupy the campus: 2 dorms (1 male/1 female); a student union which houses all administrative offices, the dining hall, and indoor club rooms; a library; and three class buildings separated among the arts, science, and business.

rules

Rule of the University:

Men's and women's dormitories are separated. Once you have accepted a position at Whitehall, we will return a letter with room accommodations. You must live within the rooms provided for you, as it is included in your tuition. All dorm rooms are private.

The dining hall is attached to the student union, and it is encouraged that you eat there.

All classes are mandatory, and since this is a prestigious school, we expect you to maintain a high grade point average. Classes are located only in three buildings for your convenience.

You may leave campus at any time, as long as you live in your rooms and attend classes regularly.

Joining clubs is expected of students, as it will give you a chance to meet new people.

Other than that, all other RpN rules apply.

Even though it is rated mature, keep foul language, romantic exploits, etc. to a minimum. Again, follow RpN rules.

Avoid one liners, please.

I'll be cheesy and add, have fun. Haha

Well, I signed up. Can't wait for this party to start.

[QUOTE="october_rain]Wow. I just realized you guys were already 12 pages into it... Could somebody maybe just catch me up on what's going on? I'm sorry if I'm being bothersome.

Not a problem! Theo, AJ, Jasmine and Heather are all at the dining hall chit-chating (so if you wanna pop into this point, you'd be fine), and Jake's stepped away after having a panic attack while hanging out with Raven and Sio. Sio's the nickname for Siobhan btw. Raven and Sio are trying to find out what's wrong with Jake, what he's hiding etc, and they're super close to discovering that his mum back in England is a hair-widths close to death. There's a Freshman Assembly taking place after Theo, AJ, Jasmine and Heather finish talking. Oh, and btw, Jasmine's in the beginning steps of a depression, so she doesn't talk very much... There, I think I covered pretty much everything... If not, I'd just suggest you read the other charrie skellies and you'd be all nice and caught up.
Ney summed the current plotline very well. I'll put this here too for any new members so it doesn't get lost.

She's your character so you can do whatever you want. She has a great reason to be antisocial. -shrugs- So I don't care :P Anyway it's not like everybody in the world is extremely happy

Okay. Well, seeing that the Dining Hall and Library are no longer safe...Where do I go now?

I wasn't trying to sound sassy or anything. I'm just saying, if you want to be alone it'd probably be the best place. Theoretically, roommates should've been assigned when we signed in, but idk if we're gonna do anything like that yet... If we aren't, your roommate doesn't have to be anyone of the protags.

I know, I guess we can discuss the whole 'Assigned Roommates' with the Author when she gets on. But wouldn't the dorms be the first place people would start looking if someone goes missing or whatever? Eh, worth a shot, I can always be in one of those...err...solo dorms ^^

That's entirely up to you. Most universities have private and shared dorm options so pick whatever you want. I'm not assigning dorms lol
Oh wow. Only just realized I missed an entire page of roleplay. Stupid life getting in the way :P
