It wasn't often that Zara woke up next to someone. So, waking up next to Jordan Adams was a bit of a surprise. When she had gone to sleep, she knew he was still there, so it wasn't too shocking. But, she didn't really expect him to still be in her room when she awoke. Especially not on Christmas morning. Did he not have anywhere better to be? He didn't even seem like the type that would want to spend the whole night.
She frowned she looked over at him sleeping. It wasn't like he was interrupting plans or anything, she had nothing set up for Christmas, she was just worried that him hanging around longer meant he wanted something else, something more than the occasional casual hook up. It wasn't like he was the worst person she'd slept with. In fact, he was quite good. And they clicked pretty well. She found herself thoroughly amused when he was around, and Zara wasn't someone who was easily entertained.
It was just, the flirty playboyness of it all. She knew that he was a flirt who slept around, and she didn't like wasting her time. It didn't matter that she did like him enough to feel like she actually wanted to spend time with him. She just wasn't someone who wasted her time like that. Zara knew that Jordy wasn't serious about her, and she was determined to stick to this mutually beneficial arrangement where no one would get hurt.
She got up quietly and headed to her bathroom, fixing her hair and brushing her teeth. Part of her hoped Jordy would sneak out while she was in there, so she wouldn't have to face him. Zara looked in the mirror for a moment, adjusting the straps of her black silk nightgown. Once she was done, she exited the bathroom, just catching Jordy shifting in bed to sit up. "Good morning. When are you planning on getting out of here?" Her tone was a bit icy and impatient, her annoyance towards him spending the night clear.
