I have always been curious about it because lately i noticed character sheets look better when the image is transparent.

is there a good site to find them?

None that I know of sadly, you just get lucky that the one you picked just happened to have a transparent background.

When you're searching on Google though, one way to tell is if the background to the image is white (Or, I don't know if it's always white, but at least some solid color) and when you click on it, the background has that little grey checkerboard pattern. So that's a way you can keep an eye out for them at least, if nothing else

As it was mentioned, Google Image search allows you to filter images by "color". Selecting "transparent" will narrow your search results to only show images that have a transparent background.

Yes but one problem when you bring it to here like on the gallery it will still show the background

You do not have to upload the images to the site in order to use them. You can copy and paste the image URL using BBCode.
Code:
[img]URL[/img]

there is also a variety of websites you can use to create your own transparent backgrounds on images. If you type into google “transparent background tool”, you’ll find a heap of websites where you can upload your image and create a transparent background on them. I’m on my phone right now so I can’t find the site I usually use but once I’m on my laptop I’ll edit this post with the site I generally use if photoshop fails me :3

edit: here we go!

Thank you

Generally the best way to find them is by searching for the .png version as those are usually transparent.
