The only way I can possibly see them coming together--because Kevin suddenly has a shyness about him--is if the person who wanted to autition the most suddenly needs help to sing for his big shot.

Guys, how should we go about adding Oliver in, though? Do we imply "Kevin" has been Oliver the whole time and go along with the prior plot of Character E not wanting to audition, or should we scrap that? Ultimately, it's up to Kiss My Axe and whatever they feel suits Oliver best, I'm chill with whatever their choice is.

I mean, I personally think Oliver would think the audition is a fun idea, even if he really doesn't expect anything to come of it, but I know you need to it to make sense, so I'm cool for whatever is easiest with you guys.

I do kind of like the first idea, him being a total stranger who happens to be walking nearby, maybe he's trying his hand at getting tips on the street and they notice that he's not bad, and they ask him to take over for their friend? I'm assuming we can make up a reason for the friend ditching, since it'd affect the other three guys in a major way.

The only thing with the second idea, though, is I doubt they'd go through with it if it wasn't their friend, and Wes just grabbed a stranger by accident. If Kevin left, they'd need a replacement, but would they willingly go through with it without their friend?

That's also a good idea! I can write out his audition, if you'd like. I didn't want to start writing until I knew what approach we were doing, I know it's a pain to do a replacement like this. At least it's so early on, though, before the audition even happened.
