Lara trembled, glaring daggers at Fernard. The reality finally began to sink in and a few tears streamed down her face before she used the cuffed hands to wipe them away. She looked up at the house in bitter disgust. The hatred was clear on her face, but she did have good reason.

She rubbed water on her dirt covered arms. The warm water was something she hadn't had for quite some time. When she finally scrubbed most off, she stepped out to find the kitchen. After a minute of wandering, she found it and pulled out some lettuce. Then she tossed it in a bowl and threw a slice of bread on top. The girl grabbed that and a spoon before heading to find the master she already hated. The 'salad' was proof of that much.
