Other What's your strange fears?

I have a fear of spiders.
Outside of fear I understand they are just living their life as they're programmed to.

Still, any time I happen to see one in the house or in my immediate area I do anything between freezing with my eyes glued to it to jumping up with a little shriek. When I regain the ability to move, it's only to end their life subscriptions, because only then do I feel safe from a spider. I apologize to all the spiders as I understand they are probably no more dangerous than other crawling little creatures, but I will likely keep removing them from existence should they find themselves in my sight. Please remain outside my domicile for your (spider's) personal safety.

Escalators and high ceilings.

Sometimes when I see a sharp object (a sewing needle, knife, fork, et cetera) I have these scary daydream type of moments where I imagine the sharp thing somehow ending up in my eye. I hate these thoughts so much. I haven't been having them recently, though, so that's good.

There's been times in my life when I avoided certain aisles at the hardware store because I'd get intrusive thoughts about getting hurt by the tools in improbable and horrifying ways. I haven't had trouble with it lately, luckily.

My most common recurring nightmare theme is having a whole lot of pets that I'm failing to take care of, and the number of pets keeps increasing - either somebody's having babies or I just keep finding more that I hadn't known were there.

Gravity suddenly disappearing and then being thrown into space at break-neck pace. I have OCD. Obsessing over ridiculous scenarios like this just comes with the territory.

That's another one: I have dream sometimes where I've forgotten to feed my (now passed away) pet fish for like a week, and I always feel so bad. I probably had for gotten to feed them for a day or something, along with turning their tank light on in the morning. I'm sure that's where these dreams stem from.
