Dude Don't Touch me- I'm not Gay!

' A lot of people seen this, And laughed at Yuri, And you laughed along. Humiliated, My Character Apologized,'I- I understand.' Tears Welling In his hurt eyes, He apologized, running off.

As the weeks went By, My character was constantly picked on by other students. Even by you as well.

Years later in college, your character is supposed to get a new roommate. Little did he know, it was Yuri, though they do not recognize each other at first, due to years of being distant ever since that incident.

Yuri sighed as he halted in front of the gate of the university.

Utsukushii University. This is it.

he thought to himself, pushing throught the front gates. He silently strode through the campus, occasionally glancing around at the magnificent buildings around him. Yuri headed to the boys' dorm, and stopped in front of the room he was staying at. Room two twenty-seven. He pulled out a small mirror, and fixed his long, blue hair. Normally, Yuri would leave it to its messy state, but if he was going to make a first impression, he could at least make himself look presentable. He balled his hand into a fist, and knocked on the door,

(I'm not sure how things work around here yet, but anyone is free to jump in from this point.)

Jumping slightly from sudden knocking, breaking the peaceful silence of the room as he worked on unpacking his suitcase and placing his belonging into the drawers provided to him, Kohaku looks up from his belonging and calls out, "Gimme a second, I'll get the door". Setting down a few pairs of jeans he strides over to the door and pulls it open, revealing his new roommate. After a quick examination of the boy presented in front of his door he steps aside and grins, " I take it you're bunking here?". As the boy makes his way into the room, Kohaku takes a few more quick glances, why does he seem so familiar?

@Sukea

Yuri smiled, and tilted his head. "Er, yes! Yes, I am," he said, stepping in slowly, examining the place, before setting his bags down. "Ah, yes. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Yuri. Yuri Kozakura!" he said, smiling again at the other male, though his smile faltered a bit upon taking a good look at his face. Huh.. That face. Haven't I met him before? he wondered to himself, but quickly shrugged it off. Yuri regained his posture, and covered up his slight frown. He sat down on the edge of his bed, and started unpacking his stuff for tomorrow.

Walking back to the small chest of drawers, Kohaku continues to place his belongings into the containers.Yuri? Haven't I heard that before.. Kohaku's head whips around as he turns back to look at the boy in question. His dark eyes widen as he quickly turns back to face the chest. Is that.. No! It can't be, I'm just over analyzing this. Just calm yourself Kohaku. Taking a deep breath, he goes back to his work, " So uh, what are you gonna major in?". @Sukea

"Well, I guess I'm going to take a major in medicine, although I also strive to be a musician," Yuri replied. He pulled out a simple blue t-shirt with black jeans for tomorrow. Once he had settled in, he pulled out his guitar. "So, what do you like to do for fun?" he asked, before pausing. "Hey, I never really caught your name, did I? Do you mind telling me?" Yuri asked, strumming a few chords.

"Oh yeah sorry about that, I'm Kohaku Naito," brushing some hair out of his eyes and looks back at him, " I'm actually a pretty big sports fan so I enjoy playing them, especially baseball. If not that I like to channel surf". Shrugging lightly he grabs his buzzing phone and glances down at the illuminated screen, while quickly replying to the message, he replies," I suppose I'm not terribly interesting so what are your interests?".

"Oh, well nice to meet you, then, Kohaku," Yuri said, though he furrowed his brow upon hearing the male's name. Is this the same one? Possibly, I wouldn't put it past him to be the same person.. Yuri thought, but didn't let his emotions show. "Me? I'm not a big sports fan myself, but I like to play music instead, every once in a while when I have free time. I also like to read manga now and then. Maybe hang out with my friends, too," Yuri replied.

Nodding in agreement, Kohaku turns stands up and walks over to his bed, once arriving there he flops down onto in a sighs heavily. "I'm so tired, " he closes his eyes and lets out a big yawn, " I had a long drive to get here, what about you?". Maybe I can figure out if he is who I suspect he is and if I am right, I'll switch rooms hopefully.

"Same, I had to drive here, although I only live about an hour away, so, it wasn't so bad," Yuri replied, setting his guitar down. He started unpacking his second bag, which contained all the materials he needed for school. Pencils, textbooks, notebooks, laptop, and all that. Though, there was one particular object that Yuri had in there, a frame containing a picture, specifically. He propped that up on his nightstand, and gazed at it. It depicted a younger Yuri wrapping his arm around a boy with long, brown hair. Yuri couldn't really tell who he was, since he forced himself to forget that boy's name. He could say one thing, that boy looked awfully a lot like Kohaku.

Lazily opening his eyes, looks over at the smaller male and watches him as he unloads more of his belongings. Huh, he has quite a bit of stuff with him. Kohaku's eyes wander over to a singular picture frame and upon seeing it's contents, his eyes widen and his breath quickens. It's him! There is no denying it, it's Yuri. Oh lord, it's only a matter of time before he realizes that the boy in the picture is me. How is he even going to react? Is he gonna run away again? I'm royally screwed. To avoid any questioning that may come about due to his wide-eye expression, he swiftly rolls onto his side facing the wall. "Um what's the photo..?".

"What? Oh, this? This is just a picture of me and my friend way back when we were younger.." Yuri replied, before trailing off. He turned his gaze back on the picture eventually realizing something. Brown hair. Navy blue eyes. Not to mention similar looking faces. All of them fit Kohaku's description. "Or, my so-called "friend". Kohaku Naito.." he muttered, looking unhappy all of a sudden.

Dear god he knows. "Oh is that so? Funny coincidence I suppose..". Kohaku clears his throat, "So uh what other things do you do Yuri?". Scooting closer to the wall, he rubs at his face. I wonder if he will even say the connection out loud. Maybe he just wants to move past it, why is this so stressful anyways. We were kids when this happened, he just had to come out and exclaim it to everyone.

Yuri narrowed his eyes. "Funny? For you, maybe. Coincedence? No, not at all," he scoffed, throwing his legs to the other side of the bed to stare outside the window. He didn't reply to Kohaku's question, and just thought deeply to himself. Okay, so maybe it was Yuri's fault that he had announced that he was homosexual, however, it wasn't his fault that he was. Still, he couldn't help but stay angry at Kohaku for not actually trying to understand, and for automatically turning him down.

Turning back towards him and sitting up, he furrows his brow," Yuri it was a long time ago, can we attempt to move past this?". Kohaku stands up and slowly makes his way over to him and lays a hand on Yuri's shoulder. " I know it was a mean move and I am sorry but since we have to lie together it'll be easier to forgive and forget".

Yuri shifted his shoulder away upon Kohaku's touch. "I know we're living together. And that's why I immediately regret coming here. Oh, and, "dude, don't touch me, I'm not gay"," he muttered, quoting what Kohaku said in the past. True, it may have been easier to forget everything, and that's exactly what old Yuri would have said, but, over years of being humiliated and embarassed, he knew that letting go of the past was something he'd never do. He stood up, and walked out the room, slamming the door behind him. He needed to go vent for a while, maybe some sake wouldn't hurt.

After watching his old friend storm out of the room, Kohaku goes back to his bed and flops into it. Dark navy eyes shut tightly as calloused hands scrub at Kohaku's tanned face. What he did was wrong, not a doubt about it but it's no use to chase him; no need to anger him more. I wonder how long he's gonna be pissed at me? Probably awhile seeing as he has still held onto this all these years. Slowly opening his eyes he takes another look around the room. Maybe it'll be better in the morning, nodding to himself he slides under the thin sheets and closes his eyes once again. It's gotta get better eventually, maybe he'll even be pleasant in the morning. The longer and longer Kohaku lays there his breathing evens out and he slips into light slumber.
