Oh man, bringing me down to memory lane, hm... im not sure it was either the first DBZ or yu yu hakusho.

technically my first anime was "Kimba the white lion" at age 6, but i didn't know anything about anime back then, my interest in it started after i watched "Tokyo mew mew" 3yrs later! \(' V ')/

First anime would be the oldest Sailor Moon. I could still remember screaming along with their transformation lines and do their poses. = =" My shame way back was as low as my foot.

Death note... god in heave, why are all anime fans nowadays but padawans of the genre. I started with Captain Tsubasa followed by Saint Seiya and Macross. (If somebody says the western name I might explode.)

I think it was Evangelion, when I was eleven. After that, I found the Devilman OVAs on Youtube.


In hindsight, they probably weren't great starter anime. Especially not for an eleven year old, but I enjoyed them all the same. Nowadays I still really like Evangelion, but the Devilman manga is a lot better than the OVAs.

The first anime I watched was DragonBall (just DragonBall with kid Goku, not DragonBall Z) and it still holds a special place in my heart even now that it's been over 14 years since I watched it. I dunno why, but kid Goku is such a likable character to a 10 year old.


Aaaand, of course that opened the flood gates for so many more: Zoids, Legend of Korra, Sword Art Online, Attack on Titan, Inuyasha, Bleach, Blue Exorcist, Evangelion, DeathNote, Gundam...ugh there's too many.

Hmmm... First anime I guess I would have ever watched would probably be Pokemon, DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, Digimon, Sailor Moon. Pretty much anything that I watched when I was still very young growing up. Which one exactly I cannot remember that.

InuYasha was my first anime, so it has a lot of sentimental value for me due to the fact that I was so young when I watched it, the love of my life introduced me to it, and InuYasha reminds me of my boyfriend. Every time I hear Every Heart, I get a bit emotional.

If i had to say film, it would have to be Princess Mononoke on HBO back when having crazy expensive cable was a thing. As for TV shows, Sailor Moon on FOX along side the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. The '90's were magical.

I think mine was actually Madoka Magica - that was the first anime that I seriously watched from beginning to end. Before that I had watched Penguindrum, but it was kind of hard to follow and I didn't really get it, haha.
