Anime & Manga What was the first anime that you ever watched?

Motherfucking Cardcaptor Sakura. Watched that stuff when I was around seven and it was the bomb.

I regret absolutely nothing.

The very first anime I watched was Death Note and I watched it the whole way through online. Then I watched the original Hellsing, then Hellsing Ultimate.

Chronologically, the first anime I ever saw was Speed Runner. The first anime I actually remember watching and UNDERSTANDING was Sailor Moon, the first anime that I was aware was anime was Pokemon, and the first anime that I ever actually sought out additional material for was Megaman NT Warrior.

The first one I remember watching and loving was Zoids: New Century (and subsequently Zoids: Chaotic Century). However, I also began watching Wolf's Rain, InuYasha, and Cowboy Bebop around that same hazy period in my life.

I remember my first anime was "Wolf's Rain" and it took me about three months to finish because I didn't want it to end, so I kept postponing the last episode xD

The first anime I ALMOST watched was Death Note, but I was 9 years old and had a short attention span. Only got through one episode.

So the first anime I ACTUALLY watched was Wolf's Rain, THEN Death Note. c:

Dragon Ball Z and Sailor moon are the two I watched around the same time I was...7-8 then. I've loved anime ever since. ( :D )

Toonami got me hooked onto anime, even if I didn't know it at the time. I believe my first one was Naruto, but the series I remember watching and finishing the earliest would be Shaman King.

Cardcaptor Sakura, unless Pokemon counts. But I still think Cardcaptor Sakura was the first.

I saw TONS of anime while channel surfing when I was younger. I think some of the first anime I saw on television was Pokemon, the Kirby anime, Yugioh (my siblings watched that) Naruto(my siblings also watched that), Zatch Bell...... Stuff like that. I never actually followed those shows, just watched them when they were on. Can't remember when exactly I knew they were anime though.

Maybe one of my siblings told me what anime was...

Inuyasha was my first one, followed by Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and the badass romance others lol xD .

It was either between Akazukin Chacha or Doraemon. I didn't know they were anime back then.

The first 'official' anime I had watched, when I realized they were anime, was probably Ghosts at School (or Ghost Stories in the Americanized dub). I didn't watch the notorious troll-dub that got everyone laughing; I was watching a Singaporean dub on Animax.

I'm not really into anime, but Non Non Biyori was the first anime that I watched, though I watched it only for 4 episodes. The first anime I watched fully was Kimi Ni Todoke.

I'm pretty sure it was Sailor Moon for me, and that was long before I knew what anime actually was. I had to have been like 7 or 8 years old.

It was Eureka Seven for me. Loved that show, and was just learning about Anime. The next one up would be FLCL, which was airing on Adult Swim way back when.

My brother introduced Dragon ball to me when I was 12? I think it was, then we gradually expanded. Then GT was a bit of a let down with Gohan being more academically. Pan being squeaky. But overall I really enjoyed the series for what it was worth, I wonder how many people tried the how to fly with Vidal. Putting their hands together haha.

Then I think Bleach was next..... xD

Excluding Dragonball Z as I was very small, the first anime I watched was Hellsing. It really got me hooked into anime. The next was Samurai Champloo followed by Gungrave. Several anime titles later, and I'm still a fan, though I rarely find the types that I listed these days.

Technically, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh was my first Anime back in my single digit years. However, what I genuinely consider my first anime would be Highschool of the Dead; it was also the anime that taught me exactly how unrealistic breast physics can be in a single show. And things just kinda went on from there.

The first anime I ever watched... that'd probably be Digimon, actually. But the first non-children anime would probably Ouran Highschool Host Club.

My first anime I ever watched is a tie between Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and Pokemon since I watched them all the time when I was little and can't pin which one came to me first, but my first anime that didn't show on actual television and wasn't a child-aimed anime is Ouran High School Host Club >w<
