What role play would you like to see?

Msygin

I want to be the little girl. Uguu
I am newer to this site, and to far it seems like it is very inactive.

I have posted a couple of things before about role plays but have received to responses.

So, I figured why not make a thread about what role play ideas everyone might be interested in so I can get one up and going.

Do not worry about plots I am pretty good about coming up with an elaborate story with very little.

Few things:

1) RpNation is actually quite active, you just have to know where to look. Try "Role Rlay Recruitment", "New Role Plays", and "Role Play Ideas".

2) I'm interested in Fantasy and Slice of Life roleplays because I feel those are the easiest to come up with an idea for. It may be different for you, but that's where I would start, since you are newer.

3) I'd like to see a good superhero role play. None of the generic "hunted for their powers, blah blah blah" junk. An original, cool, superhero rp. I would also like to join a "social experiment roleplay". Shoot me a PM if you create either of those. Good Luck!

Out of curiosity, what kind of 'social experiment' roleplay do you have in mind? Perhaps there's an opportunity for some collaboration on something @Msygin expressed some moderate interest in. :3

I could do Slice of life with Fantasy, maybe make a sort of super hero Academy type deal?

Maybe we could say in this world that the 'villains' Slip through some sort of dimensional portal of some sort, sort of like pacific rim?

So the world itself is more apocalyptic since their is an ongoing war between the hero's and villains.

We could also say only a few people are born with powers the equal those who slip through the portal, these people are sent to an academy to better hone their abilities.

I was thinking we could have it that they train along the best normal humans who are training for their own military service, give it a bit of a mix?

Any thoughts?

@Sammy Khoa - I was thinking that a group of TOTALLY different people from TOTALLY different backgrounds were pulled from their beds one night and relocated to an undisclosed location as part of a government experiment. There, they will have to put up with each other while trying to escape the hell they've been trapped in.

@Msygin - That's a good idea. I'd be interested in that. If you create a thread for it, tag me.

@Msygin, @Kitt

I think these two ideas might be compatible to some degree. The social experiment factor could come into play as the rare superhuman individuals are pulled from around the world to be used for the defence of humanity against whatever's leaking out of that portal; there's a lot of psychology involved in grooming a useful soldier out of a potentially unwilling individual. Both for their protection and for the centralized training of a normal defence force, the locale they are shuttled off to could be within a primary operations center.

Of course, reflecting these two ideas may sully the experiment into something of a background element; how might we assert it as a primary arc?
