Drawbacks: Permanently weakened vision in left eye, addiction to painkillers, missing left ring finger, not good at diplomacy or persuasion or any speech action other than intimidation, generally kind of an asshole. Rage can make him lose himself and sight of his overarching and most important goals very quickly, leading to keeping Kasovirch's temper in check being amongst one of the constant tasks held my the ORT.
Backstory: He doesn't share much. You've got him to admit he was a butcher around where Plymon stakes its claim. Presumably a butcher of ANIMAL meat; however, you would not expect a butcher to have his ability in combat to keep a cool head and execute his plans how he does.
Personality: Alex doesn't speak much. He tries to only when neccesary. When he does talk outside of a mission, he is only talking to [insert later.] S/he seems to be the only person he actually likes in the unit. Everyone else, he's currently distant towards; treating then like strangers in downtime doesn't keep him from treating them like subordinates when fighting starts; always barking orders. He is ruthlessly efficient when fighting, both physically, emotionally, and strategically. Nothing stops him but death. He is stubborn and one-track minded; untrusting and cold. He is protective of people in his unit, however. He has risked his life several times for them, including saving a few of their lives in crisis situations. There is no questioning his loyalty, just his companionship.

Strengths: Good with teamwork and following orders, Family man (Fights hard for wife and daughter)
Weakness: Family man (Wife and daughter can be considered liability), can talk too much at times
Personality: Devon is a friendly man who tries to see thr good in people and situations. Even tries to find good in the apocalypse. He is a hard worker and wishes to earn his keep as well as protect his family from the harsh dangers outside.
History: Devon Ashmoore is a historical reenactor, a hobby that his wife begrudgingly let him keep up. Well, when the world went upside down and topsy turvy, Devon managed to use those skills that he trained with and get his wife and 5 year old daughter to the relative safety of Plymon.

Skills: Firearms, Hand-to-hand combat, urban fighting, human combat
Strengths/Weaknesses: Jared is an Ex-SWAT officer, who has served for over a decade with Law Enforcement before everything hit the fan. As such, he has experience with hand-to-hand in order to restrain suspects, he has lots of experience with firearms, and has had training to help de-escalate tense situations. However, unlike most others, he doesn't have the same skills in say hunting or various aspects of survival, making him a hindrence if they aren't careful. His PTSD brought on by responding to calls during the first few outbreaks also means that he can lash out at any point in time and often impacts his ability to sleep, so on nights where he has nightmares he's even less useful outside of combat.
Personality: While out of combat, and on a good day, Jared is good natured and polite. He likes to get to know his fellow members and doesn't mind being on the receiving end of a joke or two. However, should he have an episode, he will be more introverted and quiet for a while. Certain triggers (he has not discussed these, so nobody knows exactly what) will cause him to react unpredictably.
Backstory: Jared is relatively tight-lipped about his past, citing personal reasons for withholding most of it. All that's known is that he served in Alabama, after moving there to support his wife going through medical school. Five years ago, he responded to the first case of the outbreak in Auburn, and after a few days abandoned his police force to find his wife. It can be surmised that his wife didn't make it, as she never arrived with him. Jared arrived at the village towards the beginning of its fortification, stating that he had family in the area. He never specified whether they're dead or just missing.

Skills: Cross country running, navigation, abseiling, diving, familiarity with local landscape.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Jack is an excellent scout, and is very adept at carrying out methods of zombie detection in potentially obscure and difficult to navigate spots around Plymon. He's familiar with the behavior of lurking zombies, and is able to use signs of activity to determine their direction or whereabouts. However, Jack's small build and lack of experience with firearms puts him at a disadvantage in combat. He can only use his gun effectively at point blank range, and it can take him multiple swings just to deal with one zombie.
Personality: Determination and resolve are the key traits that have kept Jack as a functioning ORT member. His job is both exhausting and thankless, but he is able to put his own feelings aside to focus on the task at hand. He is acutely aware that most of his colleagues are older than him, and Jack feels as though he has to prove himself to his fellow team members, whether to show that he is just as capable as them despite his age or to live up to his father's image.
Backstory: Jack's father, Joseph Deadwood, was the founder of the ORT and and an ex-soldier. It wasn't until Joseph was shot by an armed gang member three years after the start of the outbreak that Jack actually became a member of the ORT. Before that, Jack was born and raised in Plymon, and had been taught almost everything he knew by his father. With Joseph gone, Jack aims to become more than 'the son of our old boss' to his team members and to one day find the anarchist that shot his father.
