What Number Are You?

"Oh yes.. I actually had the honor of meeting one of those.. If you'd call it an honor,

This man was nothing close to the category of nice. He seemed to have a true dispassion against number."

Kiyo said with a frown on his face.

"Really! Are you ok?!" Kiyo exclaimed. Of course she is what am I thinking she is hear isn't she.

"Hey, I'm looking for a copy of Prototype 2. You have one?" A customer said, rousing Glitch from his slumber. Shaking his head, Glitch looked up to the customer, who was scratching the back of her head. Glitch raised an eyebrow. It wasn't often you saw a girl gamer. Regardless, he stood up. "Of course." he said, turning around in his roller chair and looking under the desk. Someone had ordered a copy of the game a week prior, and knowing how slow the postal service was, had to come and pick it up a week after the order. A week after the order would've been today.

"Here you go, ma'am." Glitch said, placing the game in a small gamestop bag and handing it to her. The woman smiled, winked, and slipped a sticky note with some writing on it over to him before waltzing out. Glitch, for the second time in the past few minutes, raised an eyebrow, and took the sticky note to read.

'We should play sometime, call me! ;) ' it read, and then stated her number. Glitch sighed, and smiled to himself before slipping the note in his back pocket. He was no player, but a lot of girls seemed to be interested in him. He wasn't THAT attractive. Maybe it was the fact that just listening instead of speaking made people feel so comfortable around him.

Ah, well. Silence was loud. That's one of many lessons he learned.

Another customer entered, this one a male, looking for a copy of Black Ops II. Glitch, not being surprised, motioned to the COD corner. The man thanked him, and put about a dollar in change in the tip jar, before turning and walking over to the area.

Thank you, very much.

Glitch, while not getting paid to much for his job, was comfortable with how he lived. A simple apartment was easily maintainable, and he made an effort to make it homey. He almost had enough for college. Almost, another few weeks before he'd have enough to head off. He was always an A-B student, so he didn't worry too much about getting in.

The man walked back, holding the videogame he had wanted. He slid the game over the counter to Glitch, who wrung it up, and placed it in the bag. The man swiped his credit card and signed where told on the thing-o-mababer before taking the game, adding ANOTHER tip, this time three dollars into the tip jar, and heading off.

Back to thinking about his apartment.

While homey, complete with it's own little goldfish, it was lacking something. Better, someone, his significant other.

He hoped that someone would show up sooner or later. Either way, he would probably be giving that girl a call after he got off of work, which would be in the next half hour or so.

Then he could go get something to eat. He was hungry.

"Ouch. Did you heal up ok?" Kiyo said. Kiyo then lifted her arm up and started examining it.

"Wow looks like it healed up perfectly. You seem very lucky, I may not be the best help.

You can probably defend yourself better then I can, but what kind of gentlemen would I be if didn't try to.

I will help you in anyway I can!" Kiyo said smiling.

"I have a few connections in the big gangs around here, But before you judge me I am not like them."

Kiyo was a lower rank member of the group alot like a lacky. He mainly just helped with the crimes know one else wanted to do.

He one day wanted to be the leader of the group and become a hitmen, but after talking with Nichole his entire line of ideas has changed.

He looked at the pets, hoping he'd be able to understand them. Sadly he knew he couldn't.

He smiled and sat down back beside her. *I wonder how many more numbers there are* He thought to himself.

He brought his attention back to her. What do you think about all thats happening?

"Your getting killed! Can you stop this?! I will help you in anyway I can!"

He felt concern for her.

Kiyo lifted her chin up and wiped the tears away. "I'm sorry!" Kiyo leaned over and wrapped his arm back around her.

"I wont let it happen!"

Kiyo held her close and began to fall asleep and he pulled her close to him. He laid hoping she'd join him under the stars.

Waking up a few minutes later he picked up the sleeping beauty while the dogs tagged along and made his way to her house.

Once he arrived he opened the door, Hope she doesn't get upset by this. He brought her inside and tucked her into her bed,

kissed her on the forehead and sat down in the chair near her bed and fell asleep.

He slept there in a sense guarding her. He would stay by her side.

(ah ok good to know i wasnt sure which was which! :P )

Kiyo woke up again at night. He didn't know if he was even aloud to stay there.

Scared not knowing what to do he got up it was starting to be daybreak.

He started to tip toe out not trying to wake the sleeping girl up.
