While this isn't a major thing, we do have a rule about bump spamming. So if you see multiple bumps per day in a thread you can report it.(daily bumps are fine in my book though - just not a bunch in one day.)

It's more of a courtesy thing, really. Bumping a thread every two hours during the day is excessive bumping and should be reported. Bumping it every 19 hours instead of 24 is not.
Yeah, that would make me ify too. Not only that multiple bumps in day don't give other request threads a chance to be seen they get knocked down the line.
not sure if anyone's brought this up, and this isn't something i see too often, but any thread with excessive bumping scares me away. this is actually the first thing i look out for when i go to threads that have many replies. i get that people want their thread replied to, and having it on the front page helps their chances, but if their thread has 20+ replies of them bumping multiple times a day, i'm immediately jumping ship.
(daily bumps are fine in my book though - just not a bunch in one day.)
Disclaimer: I'm not trying to argue at all. I just want to understand as the rules state that you can bump if your search thread is off of the front page.
So if it's a busy day and lots of search threads are posted and yours gets pushed to page 2 every let's say 4-5 hours, are you allowed to bump each time?
Or is that rule no longer applicable there because you've already bumped once in less than 24 hours?
This isn't the right place to discuss the rules though. If you have further questions please make a thread in Community Hub or Staff Contact.
I know the feeling. When people use "boy" and "girl" when talking about character gender instead of "male" and "female". It heebies my jeebies for reasons I can't quite explain.
When someone's avatar is themself.
I know this is kind of hypocritical of me because I always dissaprove of judging people based on their avatars but it just creeps me out for some reason.
AHHAHA trueAlso another thing that makes me nope out. When people use the term trap in their search thread. It weirds me out for the same reason as uke/seme/bottom/etc.
Like even if the person doesn't intend for it to come across as fetish-y or creepy it just seems like lazy writing. Like your going to define your character solely by this one trait.
I hate that word. Also another thing that makes me nope out. When people use the term trap in their search thread. It weirds me out for the same reason as uke/seme/bottom/etc.

People don't even know what it means.
Unless they're purposely trying to trick you, they're a crossdresser.
I'm pretty sure it's a meta explanation about the character "trapping" the audience, even if they're not doing it to other characters.Well I would argue even if they are purposely trying to trick you they aren't a "trap" so much as they're a "manipulative liar." Plus it just reduces being a crossdresser to being a prop. Like why can't someone like to crossdress just as personal choice? Why does it have to be tied to "trapping" someone into liking them.
I'm pretty sure it's a meta explanation about the character "trapping" the audience, even if they're not doing it to other characters.
Well they ain't trapping anyone if everyone knows about it.I'm pretty sure it's a meta explanation about the character "trapping" the audience, even if they're not doing it to other characters.
