Thanks! ? actually, there's lots of free resources so I've been picking it up pretty smoothly
Well, i am a native speaker, and i've heard that the language isn't easy for many,
so yes, this is surprising for me to see that people want to learn it.
This is true, but in my area it's one of only 2 languages you can learn in school, and is pretty frequently spoken so I started learning for that reason.
Cool, I'd like to learn Chinese.I can natively speak (Brazilian) Portuguese and can speak English fluently (I hope at least).
Because I can speak Portuguese I suppose I have a decent enough grasp of Spanish! I've studied French for a while although it's rather rusty and I kinda hate it from the bottom of my heart.
I'm also studying German and I'm thinking of studying Mandarin Chinese soon.
I find it to be a very interesting language, shame tones are so hard for me.Cool, I'd like to learn Chinese.
I don't know what shame tones are.I find it to be a very interesting language, shame tones are so hard for me.
I meant it's a shame that Mandarin tones are so hard for me, lol.I don't know what shame tones are.
oh. I'm sorry I misunderstood.I meant it's a shame that Mandarin tones are so hard for me, lol.
Although I suppose shame tones would be something along the lines of mid-low to low in English?
English, Finnish and Swedish.Hey! Like the title says, I like to know which languages people speak!
I speak 1 language fluently, 1 language almost/half fluent, and 1 language very badly.
English is my first language, I grew up in England and Ireland so Ive always been around mostly English speaker.
Irish is my second language. When I was 6 I moved to Ireland, and although English is most people's first languages here, Irish is a compulsory school subject for most people.
Ive been learning Irish for 9 years, and I am quite good at it, although not 100% fluent, if you dropped me into an Irish speaking area I think Id dp just fine.
French.. French is a language I also learn. Been doing it for pver 2 years now. My first french teacher was unable to teach me but a few words of french. I have anew teacher now who can.teach so im improving. I still tend to make up words when speaking french though, since many are similar to english.
