Fantasy What I've Done

Freyja grinned, "Glad to know someone feels the same way.." She coughed and put the back of her hand to her lips. When she withdrew her hand it had light smears of blood on it. She sighed, "To the doctors it is.."

Agreeing with Lucid about owing Freyja a debt, he was somewhat concerned about her health and knew there would be a slim chance to take her to the hospital since her Sin was not Immediately noticeable but figured she has been in situations like this before. Not one to talk much except to himself when the occasion arises he listens to the two talking and enjoys the small jokes and just the feeling like he belonged somewhere for once with people that had something in common.

Freyja looked up at the guy she helped who couldnt hold things. She smiled a bit and turned to the building using it as support to stand up. Though stretching her torso did not feel fun at all. "Mnn..ok.." She walked over to him and put a phone in his pocket, "Use your nose or something..it only has my home number in it so use it if you need any help. Not having the usage of hands seems..difficult"

(I had to edit that quit a bit..sorry bout that!)

Quinten let's Freyja Put the phone in the same pocket as the money she had given him earlier, It seemed wrong to do so but he was getting restless and wanted to leave. People would have a field day seeing three Sinners in one spot and would go ahead and lynch them in the town square. "I really... Appreciate it, from the both of you, just being able to talk to some one... It helps. I have to leave now, maybe I will see you guys again?" he says hopefully. He was turning around to leave the group, thinking of where he would spend the night, maybe one of his old hiding spots that was located in an abandoned car junk yard would do.

Freyja seemed to notice the discomfort coming from him, "Like I said..if yo need any help let me know ok? Sinners need to stick together right?" She smiled and winced putting her hand on her ribcage. "As for me ill probably be staying the night in a hospital.."

"Hey! Hold up!" Lucid stood up shakily and rushed up to Quinten. Swiping the phone out his pocket to quickly put his number in there for him. He then slid it back into the man's pocket, along with a generous little wad of cash. "We all gotta stick together. If you need anything you can give me a call too, both of you. I'm sure my boss wouldn't mind somebody crashing with me in his penthouse for a while." A bright smile appeared on the young man's face. "For now though we should probably get you to the hospital Miss. Freyja."

Freyja was glad to see that the two men she came across were kind, not all of them had good intentions. She chuckled, "You should probably see a doctor to..you did fall from a roof after all and just because you landed on little old me doesnt mean your perfectly fine" She patted his arm and smiled taking some shaky steps towards the hospital. She looked back at Quinten and waved.

Feeling a little great full for having met these people Quinten quickly bumps Lucids shoulder which his hand goes through and slightly smiles when Freyja pats his arm, "I'm sorry I can't go with you guys, It's just that people get more violent when more then one Sinner is in one place. See you later!" he says aloud before going off on his own doing his best to stay off the main streets as he heads for the junk yard.

"Doctor..yeah, that's probably a good idea....Pfft...Although with my luck they'd have to call in a vet." He laughed, but one of his wings hung rather crookedly. He watched with concern as Quinten left them. Wishing that he could convince him to come along, but knew that he was right. "Alright, but you be careful out there okay!" He called after him. "They've gotten a lot worse about ganging up on people like us." Rubbing his chest he couldn't help but look up to the roof again.

Freyja nodded, "I know..and its a shame that its not safe out here anymore. I have only protected myself because I have pepper spray" She pulled a small red tube like item from her pocket and waved it about then stuffed it back in her pocket. "Although..im not sure what doctors will see us.." She stopped, not having thought about it before hand.

"I've got a few people we could go to on speed dial, buuut I don't think that's necessary. There's a hospital not too far from here." He offered her his arm for support. "It'd be illegal to deny care to people who are in need of it. Even if they did, I can guarantee that my boss would see to it that they had a major lawsuit looming over their heads for it."

Giving a last wave of good bye to the two people he continues on his path through alley ways until they are no more visible, after meeting those two he lets his mind wonder as he treks through the concrete jungle which he hasn't done since he was cursed with hands that could never be used again. it was a strange sensation, transitioning from one of the lowest points in his life to a nostalgic stroll through a city that never sleeps and knew no bounds to diversity. now that he had met people that he could consider his friends his attitude was much brighter, even good memories started to seep up from the depths going back to a time when nothing mattered but living your life. The atmosphere was almost magical, thanks tomeeting Freyja and Lucid, maybe the gods weren't as bad as he would have thought since their paths had croseed.

Freyja closed her eyes as the pain began to grow in her chest, "Your right..besides, I think one of my ribs punctured my lung. Not to bad but I can feel it.." She looked at him masking the pain she felt and took his arm. "We should stick together there if we can..my ailment is not noticeable until they take my blood. But yours is and..I dont know it just might be a good idea.

"Not bad? You're lung is punctured by a broken rib there trooper. That's a pretty bad injury in my book." He smirked."Don't worry yourself too much on whether or not we're can stick together when we get there. We'll come up with some sort of on-the-fly and contrived plan before we get there. Shouldn't be too difficult if we combine our sharp wits."

Freyja stumbled and caught herself from falling by gripping a bit tighter to his arm,"Yea,trooper..thats why im an alcoholic. Come on lead the way" She smiled faintly and looked ahead. "And we better think fast if we are going to be there sooner rather than later"

(@Cotten I could make another character to interact with yours if you like)

With the lights seeming brighter and the buildings seeming taller his whole out look on the world has changed into a surreal experience almost bringing him to tears again with all the beauty hitting him all at once, If he were to explain it all on paper there would be no words to describe it. he had never felt this way before, in part because two people, who might not think much about it had actually saved his life just by being there. After awhile he reaches a fence that was part way bent down so that he could walk over it, it didn't take him long to reach a pile of cars that was higher then the rest and had a small clearing in the middle with a damaged sofa, some Christmas lights and a record player. Instead of going to sleep right then and there he decides to sit inside of the top most car that was an EL camino and just watches the city play out like a tv show.

(ooc: You can if you want too!)

"Hrmm..." He puckered his lips in thought. "Welp. I'm really good at the fake tears and big puppy dog eyes thing. That always works when suckering people into stuff." As carefully as possible he shifted to support her more. It was more than obvious that they were out of the iffy part of town now. The streets were clean, traffic buzzed along and people stared at them like they were escapees from the asylum.

Freyja scoffed, "Because a man with wings isnt going to freak them out before you even get to your adorable puppy dog routine" She smiled and tried to think of something that would be a more logical way of keeping them together. Something that is easy to believe.

(@Cotten I have done it!)

Ella walked around with her scruffy coat wrapped around her, she was looking for someone to jack some food from. They never gave her any willingly, she looked around corners and avoided large groups of people. She was still new to this stealing thing but it had been two days since she had a decent meal and she would do anything.

"You never know! The wings could add to the effect....as soon as people stop freaking out about them." He grinned. Then went back to puckering his lips in thought. "We could just tell them that we're related somehow or....I don't know. That we're super concerned about how the other is doing and have to know how they're doing the entire time. Simple stuff like that?" Pain shot through his chest and back as he shrugged.

Freyja helped support him as well, "That could work..could we really pass for relatives though? What are we cousins? Since we dont really look alike" She sighed and soon the hospital was in view. Relief would come soon, maybe they didnt need to think so hard, something could come to mind. "I got it..since only immediate family is allowed lets be a couple! Tell them we only have each other and this might well work. I have seen it work when I was little and had to go to the hospital" She nodded, there was a women visiting her fiancee but since they had both been abandoned by their families she was allowed to see him.

After awhile of reminiscing on the junk pile, food crosses his mind more than once but there was nothing he could do about that anyways, seeing that hands were an important part of eating. Pushing the thought to the back of his head, His withering body underneath the rags he called clothes was the least of his worries as he started to slowly drift off into sleep.

Ella walked around another corner and thought she caught a glimpse at a person walking over a fence. It was almost 10 PM, if she didnt eat now she didnt know what she would do. So she chased after the shadow into the junk yard quietly, she was good at that after all. She stopped a distance from him when he decided to lie down. "A homeless man?" She didnt like stealing form the homeless, as she was homeless as well and any money she ever saved was important to her. She bit her lip and moved close to him examining any place he might hide any cash. She reached out when she thought she saw some sticking from his pocket, but withdrew and groaned. She couldnt do it.

While Quinten was sleeping he could be seen trying to scratch his face but when he does his hands only go through his face letting only his wrist touch where it was itchy, It wasn't common for him to let his guard down so easily since he had been a master thief once in his life, but that night was a good one. it was only by chance he had woken up and looked around.

When she was about to leave she saw his hand go through his face and she gasped slipping backwards. A piece of junk slipping under her hand and causing her to tumble backwards. "AH!" She finally stopped on the ground and coughed, getting dirt out of her mouth. He was a sinner, he had to be. Normal people didnt do that!

Lucid nearly tripped over his own two feet. Which sent a shot of pain through him like none other."A couple?....Do you really think that would work?" He looked at her curiously. They definitely couldn't pass as relatives, nowhere near enough similarities. "As long as we get treatment I suppose it doesn't hurt to give it a shot."
