Then soon later almost all of the world was corrupted.then thalos took on young survivors to teach them his way.then soon a student of his killed him in his sleep.after this act the necromancer's split up to find the remaining survivor's. But the survivors also knew magic.thus they trained and hid and taught everyone willing to see reason.the survivors have much to learn but, there all high master aterin has a deep knowing of the magic. Giving them a little hope to survive. Will you chose to serve the good or the evil?

As rather in rose from his bed he noticed the sun slowly creeping over the horizon smiled got up and stretched his well developed muscle's. Then he walked over to the chest at the foot of his bed and opened it. Inside it contained a shirt of mail some normal clothes a worn sword and sheath, boots, speel books, and a picture of his fiancée. He picked up the picture smiled then put it back and put on his gear and picked up the bag by his door and stepped out into the great hall of his people

Areiet set crouched in the corner of one of the magic training rooms, her forehead pressed against the cool stone wall. She had been there all night practicing her summoning spell that she just couldn't seem to make work. "W-when did I fall asleep?" She asked herself yawning and scratching her head then she climbed shakily to her feet. "Ugh. . . the suns already up." Grumbling she passed her fingertips on the window, and for a moment memories of happier times flashed through her mind. "No use thinking about things like that now. . . I've gotta get out of here before everyone shows up." Areiet turned to the door and rush out heading for her room yawning as she went.

Rather walked out to the bustling hall of his people. He headed for a room to the far left corner of a room opens the door and walked out to the riding sun. He was heading towards the high masters tower to see the high master himself. As he walked up to the door he noticed someone lying on ground. He examined the body, and to his surprise it was the door gaurd tharin. Rather gave a him a sharp kick to the gut and tharin woke up with a start."get back to work tharin you useless sack of shit"rather said. Rather walked into the tower and started to climb the stairs.

"Why won't it work?" She asked herself as she rested her back against her closed bedroom door. "No matter what I do it keeps failing!" She threw her hand in front of herself and a small earthen circle appeared in the middle of her bedroom floor. Clearing her throat she whispered "Thoghairm mé dhuit, Rooll" Areiet closed her eyes as the circle started to glow, and then seconds later a shriek sounded from the circle and as quickly as it had opened it closed. "Gahh!!! Come out you darn fox." She shouted then threw herself on the bed. Outside things seemed to not be working out as well she could hear someone being yelled at, what about she didn't know. "This is why I stay hidden away."

void groaned, slowly waking up, ignoring the startled doctors who came to check up on him. "hmm..." he said as he got up, stretching slightly, a small grin on his face. "Ummm, good morning Void" one of the doctors mumble, flinching back in case he decided to harm him. "Good morning Doc" Void said, ignoring the fact that the doctor was muttering he had a name. "Am I free to go yet? Or must I force my way out?" Void asked, quite ready to try whichever choice was available at the time. The doctor grimaced, realizing he was the only one who could stop a potential menace from leaving here. "Go ahead, just please, don't cause any trouble." Void smirked, slowly walking away, giving the doctor ample time to regret his choice. "Hopefully we don't meet again.." the doctor muttered, half closing his eyes, regretting not doing as he should have and poisoned the patient before anything bad could happen, just like the victims of those....things outside.

Void hummed as he walked down the hall, ignoring the quizzical looks he was receiving, the one time he acknowledged it was when someone intentionally bumped into him. "oh, sorry, didn't see you there" the man said in apology, sarcasm dripping from his voice like honey. "So am I" Void said, quickly kneeing the guy in the stomach and walking away, heading towards what he assumed to be a practice room since the doors were reinforced, as if something might break the doors.

as rather reached the top of the tower he was stopped by the final door guard by the name of alric fredam."hello rather are you enjoying your day"he said with a jolly tone."well so far i have been enjoying it how about yourself alric"replied rather in a strong voice. It's been boring so far.so what brings you here on this fine summer day?""i am here to discuss the expedition which will take place soon after this week.he said proudly."well that seems like a good reason to enter for me. you may enter.

as rather entered the dark room of the high master Aterin a soothing smell entered his nose.rather looked around the room and saw that aterin was siting at his desk writing.

"Ahh, I cant stay in here forever." Sighing she rolled over to her back. "Thoghairm mé dhuit. . . . Rooll!" She whispered, then passed out. That was how she fell asleep the first time, summoning took great concentration and it used a lot of power. Power that Areiet did not yet have, but even though she knew that she pushed on anyways. To her it was the only way to become powerful enough to end the chaos, to be able to touch the land and not feel pain each time she came into contact with it. Areiet was a druid, forest sage. . . Her connection with the earth, and life was strong maybe too strong. Sometimes she would ask herself why such a gift and a curse was given to her.

Void smiled, sitting alone in the training room, concentrating on his emotions, slowly letting them shape the shadows around him, hardly able to control the shadows they quickly disappear, tipping off most people with decent amount of magic that he knew some dark magic. He sighed, staring at his hands, still swearing he could see the blood from the brutal murders of the three mages.

Rrrrrrgggh~ Areiet woke to the sound of her protesting stomach, her insides were churning an her body felt like lead. The over use of magic can have these effects sometimes she knew that but she nerve takes heed. Glurrp "Okay, okay I hear you. . " she moaned and tried to get her body to move, "Looks like I overdid it, come on girl move those legs!" laughing to herself she took a deep breath and threw her legs in there jumping out of bed. "Hah no darn fatigues keeping me from food!" Her legs buckled as she left the room. Areiet's trip to the cafeteria was a slow one, not because her condition but because she was sneaking through the great hall, this would make the fourth time she hadn't attended her lessons, and she wanted to avoid her instructor. Finally making it onto the quad she let out a sigh of relief. "He should still be holding lesson!" She thought happily and then. . . "Well well, if it isn't my favorite recluse!" Her instructor stood at the other side of the quad with an eerie expression on his face. Areiet knew she was in trouble.

"well what brings you rather?"said aterin without looking up from his papers."im here to discuss the matters of the expedition that will take place here in a week"replied rather.i trust that you yourself can take care of the matter by yourself", he said with a small smile."well my lord i have it's just the matter of getting two people to join me in this expedition", said rather with a small hint of worry in his voice."well i do have two people in mind that you could take, but be warned one of the mages you are to take has been taught in the ways of the necromancer so i would want you to keep an eye on him for me",aterin said while finaly looking up from his papers. If you don't mind me asking my lord who are these men that i shall take with me my lord".one is man but the other is a woman of our order.there names are void and Areiet. be wandered though void was brought in to our sanctuary not to long ago so take heed and be always cautious of him.also Arieiet is very shy, but she is a great student i intrust you can keep them safe though?"he said with a slight smile.of course my lord you can count on me!", rather said with cofidence."you are dismissed then enjoy your day rather."replided.

as rather walked out into the bright light of the filed he could sense that there had been death in the air.he sprinted up the steps into the hall and saw a large crowd of people gathered around one of the training rooms. as he walked towards the room the crowd parted for rather to enter as he entered the room he was shocked at what he saw. three mages had died and the young boy that was brought in and engered stoded over then smirking . rather grabed him by the neck and daged him out of the hall and into the daylight stod him up and said,"you are you void, because if you are i need your help with a important matter at hand".

Areiet turned to her instructor and smiled awkwardly, "Hel-" Before she could finish greeting him a rush of magic pushed past her sending her flying into the grass. "I wasn't holding lessons today, and you would have known if you had shown up to the last three!" As he spoke Areiet gritted her teeth as a twinge of pain rushed through her body. "I'm sorry it wasn't purposely I just-" Another wave oh magic hit her sending her further into the grassy area of the quad. Areiet grimaced as she hit the ground, he knew very well what happened when she touched natural earth. "Sir, I-" His staff forcefully hit the ground next to her. "You've been practicing summoning again, haven't you?" With a look of guilt on her face she started crawling from the grass back to the paved walk way of the quad. With her body being so weak the pain was all that worse. "I just. . . I need to get stronger." She spoke softly a hint of sadness in her voice. "Stronger!?" He shouted. "You cant even block my simplest spell the state you're in. Seems I'll have to teach you from the beginning again." And for the next thirty minuets she was forced to sit and listen to her instructor rant about basics, all the while her stomach was still protesting.

Smiles calmly, roughly pushing Rather off him, "What does it matter? Whom is it I speak to?" Void turns around, prepared to walk back in, rather hungry. "And if you expect information from me, then you better provide food."

"Ahh, my butt. . " Areiet walked from the quad into the dining area rubbing her behind. "Why does the ground have to be so hard, and why does he have to talk so much?" There were very few people inside when she got that was just how she liked it. It didn't take long for her to get her plate and place, and before long her plate was nearly bare. "Basics..." She sighed as her mind wandered back to her instructors lecture. "If the basics worked I wouldn't be so darn weak!" Starting to get aggravated she flicked her peas across the table still lost in thought.

Sighing heavily rather walked off to a small shed and opened the door and gestured for void to come toward."if you want food follow me", he said.

Slowly walks over, running various endings to this through his mind, absentmindedly charging up a spell, just in case he needs to fend this stranger off.

He could fell a energy rising from void, just as much as anyone would in this type of situation."there is no need to that I'm only coming into the high masters store house, and when please don't make a mess".he replied with ease.

"Well help yourself to any of the food you see just don't go to crazy you might get yourself sick if you eat to much. Other than that enjoy."he said with a calming voice.

Slowly takes an apple, quickly biting into it, lowering his hand with the still charged spell, glad he could use his feelings to power it instead of his magical reserve, even if it's less effective that way.

As her mind continued to wander Areiet gazed out the window, her eyes immediately fell upon someone every person inside The Great Hall of Mowen knew. "Rather," As she spoke hi name, several pairs of curious eyes turned and looked at her, she covered her mouth with an empty spoon. looking away from the window and focusing again on her half full plate. "But who was that with him, is he new here?" She asked herself quietly and a shiver ran up her spine. To Areiet whoever that was looked a bit odd, and something about him felt dark.

Void twitches, feeling some eyes on him, looking around to see who is looking at him, quickly looking at Areiet before looking away, doubting his feeling that she was or still might be looking at him, quickly picking up an apple and taking a large bite out of it. A small grin shows through as he holds his slightly smoking hand, weakening the spell a little more, knowing that one good blast or one good hit will get this entire area messed up. "Now then, you wanted to know if I was Void?" Glares at Rather, "I am Void, so what are you? My executioner?"

Curiosity was starting to get the better of Areiet as she left the dinning area. Why would Rather walk around with someone like that? She knew he had a kind spirit, but still. . . She slowly and quietly followed the path she saw them take, she had no desire to speak to them she was only the tiniest bit curious. Even though she always ended up getting into some kind of trouble when she poked around. Like last time when she snuk into the back room of the library. Her instructor Colt sent her flying out the room. "But this isn't like that time." She though to herself as she poked her head around the corner. And there they were standing in what looked like a shed to her.

Yawns, using his magic to feel around, a wave of magic rolling over Areiet. "Hmm, are we completely alone here stranger? I would hate for unwanted ears to hear what I've done and why."

"Huh? What was that?" Areiet backed away and stood stationary before looking around confused. "Someone just used magic. . . Was it him?" Unsure whether she should should leave or poke around a bit more. Going with he better judgement she slowly starts sneaking away. "Whatevers going on there has nothing to do with you silly girl." She told herself and slapped her cheeks lightly.
