Last weekend, my wife showed me Coco for the first time and I cried like a big blubbering baby. What a beautiful movie and the artwork was phenomenal.

Last night, we watched Turning Red for the first time together and that was very enjoyable. Teen cringe but relatable and my wife especially felt like a lot of the film resonated with her.

So how about you? What animated movie have you watched most recently?

The Wild Robot and Migration. Both of which were just beautiful. Migration more for comedic purposes. There were those moments in The Wild Robot too but I teared up during it too.

Moana 2 is my current hyperfixation. Not only did I personally think it was way better than the first, but I came out of it crushing very heavily on Matangi and writing several fanfics about how I want the third one to play out. I also ended up coming up with a really good theory about Te Fiti and Nalo (the main villain of the sequel) having a history with each other and potentially being ex-lovers

The last one I watched was Flow, featuring an adorable black cat. It was very nice despite no dialogue. I saw they recently won major film awards for that film. Good for them!

not newly watched but re-watched, it was Wolf's Children, Summer Wars, and The boy and the beast.

Tangled, Encanto and Nightmare before Christmas are my favorites, and ones i've watched again recently!

Nightmare is an S tier movie, love Tangled too!! My favorite film of all time is Lion King, I should rewatch it soon! I think the last semi-animated movie I watched was Sonic 3? before that I can't recall but I'm a big Disney boi

I forgot about Lion King!! One of my favorites as well! One of my very first favorites as a child, and I still rewatch from time to time. I should watch that again soon as well :) Disney films are always very good
