What heroes are made of
You were part of an experiment gone wrong.
A small group of scientists in a lab at the edges of the world took a hand full of genetic material from gods knows what and created you. Trying to create super humans, and they succeeded, just not with you. No, you were the lab rats who got the lucky chance to weed out all the hiccups. You didn't get the fancy powers that only take a bit of learning to understand or the bionic arm that matches perfectly with your wavelengths or the wings that stretch twice as long as you. You got the powers that make you grit your teeth through the pain, the metal arm that shocks and shuts down on you and the wings that are constantly molting.
And now you're here.
Normally, rejects get thrown away, their lives are ended quickly and it's nothing to worry about. But, obviously, we aren't dealing with small rodents here. So, they decided perhaps you could still be of use to them. I'm not going to lie to you and say this is a safe place. This is a school, that's what they told me to call it, there will be classes, whether you attend or not is none of my concern. But, what you will learn here is the only thing that may ever get you into the real world. They don't want us to be apart of society if we...malfunction. Heroes are meant to look pretty, after all. You want to know what normal life is like? Learn to become useful, the only thing they think you're good for is saving the world. So show them you're just as good as the ones in tights.

So this is the basics of what I want to DM. You can play as either a teacher or student, teachers will be limited to how many classes there are. There might not be many teacher roles open so please say whether or not you'd play a teacher here so I can get an idea of how many people would like to and can look into adding more roles. You can get pretty much as creative as you want with your characters powers, I'd like it if people were to write at least a paragraph every 2-4 days. This is my first time running a rp just so people know. Hopefully people are interest!
