Fantasy What happens to us now? (Animal rp) CS

[Tasteless]

Quick plot :: This will be a moderately-detailed roleplay that involves animals after the human extinction. You can either own a character who was a former pet, or who was wild from birth. This will be them living in a world without the destruction of man kind, rebuilding and thriving when it all had seemed like it was lost.
The pets will be forced to learn to hunt and live either alone or with newly found friendships. Can pets relearn what they had lost so long ago, or will they die just like their human companions?

Plot
“It seems so long ago that I had seen my humans face, I found a pile of dust that smells similar to her but it obviously can’t be her, she was always so warm and happy! Humans don’t just turn to dust.. do they?”
The Humans caused their own fate, a mass war had broken out only a year prior. It escalated quickly, and suddenly all countries were bombing and dropping chemicals on the others. Their extinction was painful, yet relatively quick. The pets didn’t understand what was happening, they ran and they hid, or perhaps they perished with their owners. Those who ran are likely the only ones who made it out alive from the cities and towns.
With humans gone, animals are now allowed to reclaim the land and become predator and prey. The humans had nearly demolished all of the natural land and replaced it with the buildings that only exhaled smog. Humans have been gone for only a few months and nature has proven itself as mighty, lush grass and trees sprouting from cracks in concrete, vines reaching into the broken windows and buildings, imbedding themselves deep into the foundation.
The naturally wild animals are thriving, as prey is thriving. They have more land to claim and they are finding that they are excelling in the wake of such death and devastation.
The pets that survived are now being forced to face a new reality, some are naive and believe they may be able to find their humans, others understand that the humans won’t be coming back. They are having to hunt to survive, fight to protect themselves from hostile wild animals and hopefully survive another day. They are being forced to relearn the skills that is buried so deeply from their ancestors, and it will not be easy. Survival has never been easy.



There are unlimited spots in this roleplay and it will likely always be accepting !

• Do not add any major plot twists or massive events (ex. Additional bombings, chemicals, etc) without my approval.
• There is no character limit, just make sure you can play what you have created!
• If you have a character that is considered a pup and is unable to fend for itself you must have another user who agrees to assist said young character or another character of your own.
• Please write a minimum of two paragraphs per post, I understand writers block yet I’d prefer to see very little to no one liners!

Name :: Little Bear(Bear)
Age :: Two Years
Gender :: Male
Wild or Pet :: Pet
Appearance :: Bear is a medium sized canine, supposedly a mini Australian Shepherd mix but his former owner hadn’t looked into it much. He has long, curly fur that is thicker around his throat, behind his ears, and along his spine. His pelt is a mixture of many colors, the main color being a deep brown, with stripes of black and gray. Half of his face is gray, as well as his chest and stomach. His gray fur is almost reflective, lighter in some areas and darker in others. His ears are usually down, yet sometimes one will alert itself. His teeth are beautifully kept, and decently large for his size.
Personality :: Bear is a gentle canine, avoiding contact at almost all costs, he prefers to relax or play with others. He dislikes killing anything, and attempts to not even harm the frogs that would live near his humans pool. He enjoys relaxing in the sun, where he can often be found taking naps or sitting in silence.
While Bear dislikes fighting, he will defend himself. His human is always on his mind, and he is eagerly awaiting her return back to him so they can continue on with their lives as usual.
Bear often struggles to grasp situations, and finds himself believing in something that is impossible. His entire world revolves around the human that had saved him from the horrid concrete cage as a pup, and he swore to always love and protect her with everything he had, even though she protected him more than he truly protected her. His life was good and his heart full, and he is eagerly awaiting that feeling once more.

Additional Details :: Bear has a bandanna around his neck that has the colors of fall on it, orange leaves, sunflowers and a pumpkin or two. He still sleeps inside the ruins of his former home, curled up on the torn and ruined blanket that formerly had the Texas flag in it, as it still lingers with the scent of his human.
Bear also had two other canines in the home with him, yet is unable to find his former pack mates.

Additional Details :: Kaysee is still wearing her collar, which is very important so she does not get lost. She stays near her ranch to protect the other animals, but if she feels leaving will somehow help her humans to come back she will do her best to be a good dog.

Felix is easily driven to boredom and despite insisting otherwise he does not handle being alone well, the stress of which causes him to become destructive towards himself and the surrounding environment. Felix has a very low opinion of humans, who he considers generally terrible with the exception or one or two individuals who cared for for him the past.

Sometimes Percy displays a more serious side of himself when left to ponder his thoughts, which suggests that he's not as simple as his behaviour would suggest.

Backstory ::

Percy was rescued from the black market as a cub and sent to an exotic animal rescue and education centre. With no other tigers present at the facility, he was instead housed with a lion of the same age and the two became an inseparable pair.

Kin :: He considers Sam (the lion that he lives with) to be his brother.

Additional Details :: He is microchipped. Has not yet escaped confinement.

Personality: Akyra is playful and curious, always digging around for trouble. She loves causing mischief, but only in ways that wont get her in trouble. She is the best dog she
can be for her owners and loves them dearly. She's sensitive so when she gets hurt or in trouble it will ruin her mood for the entire day, maybe longer. She of course knows her humans care and just want her to be safe and that always gets her to bounce back to being a happy dog. She's very vocal and will always speak her mind, especially when she is excited. She makes little growls and howls when her humans come home and always brings them a present (one of her toys) to welcome them back. She tends to be distrusting of other dogs and will often try to fight them off if they get to close to her or her humans. She is the same around people, if a new person is around she'll avoid them and growl if they get too close. She's a dominant, reliable girl with lots of sass and energy, and once she finds someone worthy of her trust, she protects them until the end.

Backstory: Akyra was born in a shelter with her mom, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. For the first 3 months of her life, she spent them in the concrete and plastic cage that was all she knew. Akyra spent most of her time learning from her mom and tussling and napping with her brothers and sisters. When her mom disappeared one day the five freaked out and promised each other to never let the others go alone, but when the large humans came and took them all away one at a time they didn't know what they could do to stop it. New humans would always come in and pet and play with her but she never met a human quite like the one who adopted her. The pre-teen girl and Akyra instantly saw something special in each other and formed an un-breakable bond quickly. The two played every day and the human took good care of her. In return for the humans kindness, Akyra would be the best girl she could be or her and always comforted her when she was upset, always able to pull her from her slumps and give her love. When the fighting broke out, Akyra stayed with her human until she couldn't anymore. Her human rushed her out the door and urged her to run away. Akyra could sense her humans fear and sadness, and despite wanting to stay, she never disobeys her human. So she ran, she ran as far away as she could. She stayed there for weeks before going back to see if her human was any better. When she came back, her home was destroyed, and her family was gone. She spent one last night in the ruins before leaving for the final time, taking with her nothing but the one toy she never broke, the one that somehow survived the damage. Its a fox stuffy with no fluff inside.

Personality: Hudson is a very shy submissive dog, He is more of a loner and often doesn't try to get close to many people or dogs. When he's around other dogs he will submit completely and doesn't like to fight, but he will defend himself. He tends to forget his own strength and will play too rough and bite too hard. He's a loving dog, but he just likes his space. He's territorial but if someone tries to dominate him, he'll most likely be a wuss and just roll over, or kill you with kisses. Hudson also isn't the sharpest tac in the box, he's got a few screws loose. It takes him a while to learn things, or he just refuses to learn. He's also very lazy.

Backstory: Hudson was born on a reserve when his mom and him and his sisters were found and taken to a shelter, He lived there with his sisters for two months before he was adopted and taken in to a loving family. He's not particularly close with any of his humans but is loyal to them. When the fighting broke out, however, Hudson knew he had to leave or die. He chose to leave. He ran as far as he could, just trying to live off what he could find.
