So I'm at work right now, and I have some down time and I was thinking (and slightly bored)-- what do you guys do for a living?

I'm Holly, I'm 26, and I'm a nurse. I got my license in 2015, and since then have worked in a nursing home/rehab center, a prison (favorite job by far), home health for a week, and now I work at a methadone clinic. The methadone clinic is my second favorite nursing job. When I started school, I wanted to work either at a prison, with mental health patients, or with drug addicts. Now I've done all three and I must say I'm glad to be able to say that!

So what do you guys do?

Srsly though, I'm unemployed at the moment, I'm restarting *siiigh* school in a few days, and I guess I'll have to look for a part time *siiigh* job as well.

I don't have a job right now, though I have worked grill at a Wendy's and have also worked as a daycare teacher. I am in training to become a nurse assistant.

Studying electrical engineering at a University. So many classes compared to my liberal arts friends it might as well be a job.

Good luck with school! I hated working and going to school, but it was a necessity... Ugh. I feel your pain.

I love psychology. When I worked at the prison I worked at in Oklahoma my favorite part to work in was the mental health unit.

I have a Psychology degree which I currently can't afford to do anything with, but that's a political grumble which isn't going to go away soon.

So right now I'm a full-time buyer for the public sector.

Just got my degree in mental health nursing but I've been working as a health care worker in the same field for a year now (as well as studying and clinicals or as we call them, placements). Currently working in a recovery unit (kinda the step between an acute ward and the community). It's very interesting if a little flow at times.
