Literature What are you reading?

"Der Angstmann" by Frank Goldammer. It is a German crime novel that is set in the WW2 Germany. It is awesome so far ^^

I'm reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest by Steig Larsson and I've just finished The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Cohelo

I just got done with "The Wheel of Time" and have now started on "The Dresden Files." By just started, I mean I am now on book three XD

I'm waiting for my copy of Saga: Vol 1 to come in the mail.  D :

I just finished rereading the Handmaiden's Tale in preparation for the Hulu series.

I was really surprised to hear it's being made into a series. It's kind of the last book I'd expect to be adapted to TV.

Hulu better not disappoint. :  P

The Last Star by Rick Yancey. It's the final book of the 'The 5th Wave' trilogy :-D

Sandman Vol 5: A game of you

Neuromancer

The Dark Tower 4

HP Lovecraft (Collection of stories)

I watched Queen of the Damned on Netflix, and thought to look for the book, but... Instead my Aunt and Uncle lent me an older fantasy series by Patrick Rothfuss; kinda wish the female lead wasn't a love interest kind of plot tool. The unique details kind of fell short of my expectations when they disappeared about halfway through.. My favorite ones were about a type of writing that only consists of vertical and horizontal hashes, and the occassional original lyrics.

I have The American Claimant checked out via a public library ebook app (called Overdrive), and the opening commentary by Twain, (referencing the depiction of weather), was quite frankly, funny. (I've also been surfing for silly audiobooks.)

--Other than that, the RP group that I want to join midway through has some 2500+ storyline posts that I may not have time to catch up on.. (XD)

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski and a collection of H.P. Lovecraft's works. Primarily House of Leaves but I've been bouncing around a bit.
