Video Games What are you Playing Right Now?

Been playing Rachet & Clank and Balatro mostly. Eventually I'll get back to Life is Strange True Colors and Zelda Echoes of Wisdom.
 
Last week, I got Capcom Fighting Collection (mainly for Darkstalkers) and I've been playing it in anticipation of Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection. That and Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition which I got in April.
 
I have a number of games I'm alternating between right now, so I'll just list 'em here.

-War Thunder
-Helldivers 2
-Phantom Brigade
-Frostpunk
-Sins of a Solar Empire II
 
skyrim, harvest moon: animal parade, and pokémon: omega ruby. learning the last one is kinda cursed, so im staying away from it for rn.
 
mostly sims 4 lol but i've also been playing a bit of animal crossing nh and this cute lil pizza game on switch called "good pizza, great pizza". as you can see, i like cozy gaming lol

i desperately need to go back to my acnh island too, tbh. same with eventually going back to the sims 3 & disney dreamlight valley.
 
Hmm... as of now i got a couple that i go on in between... so... first is albion, then next is freedom fighter and lastly is the saboteur

Skyrim. That takes me back.

I used to mod it to heck and back way back when. Modcount exceeded 700 once upon a time.

you know, i've been playing it since launch, completely vanilla, and still haven't beaten the main story. no idea why/how.

my wife swears sims 3 is the best sims. also i literally restarted my acnh island because it had been so long since i played last that I was like well screw it lol
how do you like disney dreamlight valley? i've been curious ab that one!

your wife is so right imo. there's just so much to the sims 3. that's why i love it anyway, but i know that it's horribly optimized for most modern PCs, which is a big turnoff for a lot of people. re: disney dreamlight valley. . it's fun! i'm the furthest thing from a disney adult (don't love disney movies, don't go the parks, very critical of the company, etc), but i think it's a cute and wholesome game! the stylizing options are cute and trendy, the gameplay loop is fun and addicting, and it often gets free updates (you can buy further dlc for it too, but i have not). if you're a cozy gamer, which it sounds like you are, it might be up your alley!

i always get bored right around when we meet delphine. the furthest i've gotten was to the peace talks discussions and i just could not get past it because it was just so boring. i know we can get around it by just finishing the civil war plotline and as little as i personally care for it, i may just have to do that this time around.

I guess we'll have to see how that goes. Skyrim can be fun at times, but it's a very atmospheric game in many respects. It's got its high action moments and its quiet moments. I hope you're able to find some enjoyment in the next play attempt. :)
 
I am kind of in between games. I tried Tales of Graces F remastered but just didn't like it. I'm really waiting for Suikoden I and II remaster as well as Xenoblade Chronicles X. Mostly Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. In the meantime I will probably check out that new Dragon Age game coming to the monthly ps plus.
 
Morrowind. I feel like I finally got the hang of it sorta and it's so much fun even for a game that's a bit old. I'm playing as a House Telvanni mage. I've just been doing quests to rank up in the house & mages guild stuff lol. It took me a bit to understand how to find my way around without quest markers (Morrowind doesn't have them) but so far I haven't had to google how to get somewhere so I see that as a win.
 
Started playing Monster Hunter Wilds on release.

On one hand, it's PC performance is a stinking hot mess and I'm not happy with it. My pc is not that old and is struggling with this game.
But it's still good old MH with some nice quality of life gameplay improvements. I hope they fix performance issues at some point....
