I recently turned 33.

Hard to find fellow 40+ writers, so it's nice to see RPN repping those ages.

I've always been really curious about the fact that in most other sites I spend time on, most of my online friends are at least a bit younger than me (anywhere from 1-5 years younger), but when I came over to RPNation I found that most of the RP partners I've found are actually older than me. So it's been a nice change of pace to have a chance to interact with and write with people older than me. It feels unusual to be the younger one for a change!

Anyway, nowadays I'm pretty much right in the middle of the most common age range on the site (I'm 23 right now), and looking back I remember how "relatively old" that age felt to me 5 years ago when I had just joined RPNation as an 18 year old. Time passes so fast... I'm still processing the fact that I'll be turning 24 later this year, and 25 next year. That seemed so far away a few years ago, and now it's right around the corner.

I'm 40 at the end of this year and it's been a challenge finding other writers who are 30+ (not that I have an issue writing with anyone over 18 who can develop well-written characters). Been writing for 29 years at this point and feel that, as a hobby, it'll probably be something I always do. Glad to see others like me here!
