• Evanora double-checked her bags before heading out. She didn't have much in the way to bring with her to the school, just a few pieces of clothing, some crystals, and a locket with her coven's crest imprinted in the metal. Despite the emotional turmoil her sisters had caused her over the years, this group was the only thing she had ever known, so it would be unrealistic to assume she wouldn't miss it. Especially since once she left, she would never be welcome again. She had spent her whole life avoiding being scorned by her sisters, and now she was willing accepting their rejection. But, she knew this was the path she had to take. She would lose everything, but would gain much more in the future.
  
  She gazed around her room one last time, taking in the last sight of her childhood. So many sleepless nights were spent here, studying and casting both the teachings of the coven and the forbidden magics she had grown so fond of. Reaching down, she lifted the edge of her rune-covered rug and inserted her pinky finger into a small crack in the wood, lifting a plank up. Out of the secret compartment, she grabbed a book no one other than herself knew laid within the small village: a book with the collective knowledge of black magic. She stowed away the thick tome in her bag, zipping up the duffle and replacing the plank so her room looked just as pristine as her sisters believed it to be.
  
  Taking a deep breath, she prepared herself for the journey that she would never return from. She stepped outside into the darkness, leaving behind the only world she'd ever known. Unfortunately, the path to the nearest town wasn't as direct as she had hoped. The map she had found in the library seemed to be one made more than a hundred years ago and the forest had made its own paths after the lack of usage from her coven. And the darkness certainly didn't help, even if she did know a spell that conjured a ball of light.
  
  Many hours pasted before she finally made it to the town. She silently cursed herself for getting lost, convinced that her transport to the school must have assumed she ditched out and decided not to go. But, to her surprise, she found a carriage waiting patiently at the edge of town. She wrote it off at first, assuming that such a prestigious school would surely have a more advanced mode of transportation than a carriage... but, to her surprise, she sensed some sort of enchantment surrounding the vehicle. She cautiously approached the driver, not entirely sure how to talk to strangers. "Um, excuse me... You wouldn't happen to be picking someone up for Westview, would you?" she said.
  
  The carriage driver eyed her over briefly before motioning for her to get inside. "You're one of the late students, then? Hop in and we'll get going."
  
  Evenora bashfully smiled, rubbing the back of her neck before getting in. Once inside the carriage, she continued speaking to the driver. "Sorry about the whole being late thing... I've never traveled on my own before and sort of got lost..."
  
  "Don't sweat it too much, kid. There's a few latecomers every year. We'll be picking up a few more, in fact. What's your name?"
  
  "Evanora," she says, bracing herself as the carriage started moving. "Evanora Wildes."
• Persephone was waiting for her carriage to arrive when she got an unexpected call. She eyed it suspiciously--it was rare for her to get a text, let alone a physical call. She debated letting it go to voicemail, but then opted to answer it. If worse came to worse, she could just hang up. She pressed the green button and put the phone up to her ear. "Hello?" she said, not bothering with any pleasantries.
  
  "Cruor, is that you? Did I find the right number?" a shaky voice spoke.
  
  "Depends who's asking," Persephone responded. The voice was oddly familiar, though she couldn't put her finger on who it belonged to.
  
  "Oh, thank goodness that I finally got ahold of you... Listen, I have a... situation--" There was a loud crash in the background of the call.
  
  "Who the hell is this?" Persephone said.
  
  "My name is Dr. Carver, I saved you a few months ago after you were gravely injured by a hunter--" There were more crashes in the background, along with some shouting. "--Listen, I don't have much time. I need your help."
  
  Persephone sighed, stress running rampant in her voice. "I--I'm not sure that I can help you, doctor. I'm on the other side of the city and I'm waiting to be picked up to leave--"
  
  A scream interrupted her. Luckily, it wasn't the doctor's. "I don't know anyone else who can stop this, Cruor. You said you wanted to repay me. Now is your chance."
  
  Persephone looked around, spotting the carriage that was about to take her to the school. Whatever was happening, it sounded bad. But, the doctor's clinic was right next to a police station. Surely they'd do something to help... Right? Persephone didn't have much more time to think as she heard muffled screaming over the line. Her adrenaline kicked in before the line went dead. "Oh, son of--" She looked at the carriage one last time before making a terrible decision. Hopefully this wouldn't get her invitation revoked.
  
  Luckily, she was able to run ten times faster than humans. When she arrived, she discovered the clinic ransacked and the doctors, nurses, and patients still alive. Three young vampires were scavenging for blood, their movements erratic and janky. Probably lost their minds to hunger as so many do. It didn't take long for Persephone to handle the situation. Unfortunately, the authorities showed up shortly after and kept her under watch for risk that she was a danger. It took Dr. Carver (who was luckily unharmed aside from a few bruises and cuts) insistingly pestering the cops that Persephone wasn't a danger to anyone for her to be let go. It was enough time that her carriage had long been gone, though.
  
  She cursed her luck as she tried to figure out how to contact the school to apologize proficiently and explain that she did want to go to this school and that she wasn't trying to ditch out last second. Luckily, she didn't have to figure that out as she saw another carriage crawling up to her position. She squinted at the driver, confused as to how they knew to come back... or how they knew to come back now of all times. She figured she couldn't complain, though.
  
  "Aye, you're the young lass that ran away from her previous carriage, yes?" the driver said.
  
  She wouldn't exactly call herself young, but she kept that comment to herself. "Yes, I suppose that would be me."
  
  "You'll be getting a carpool this time. What's your name?"
  
  Persephone approached the carriage, opening the door to see a girl with green hair already sitting inside. The girl smiled brightly and Persephone held back a groan. "Persephone."
  
  "Persephone who?" the girl asked.
  
  "It doesn't matter," she said, getting in and sitting across from the girl. "And you are?"
  
  "Evanora Wildes."
  
  "Right, well... looks like we'll be getting acquainted on this ride."
• "Hun, when are you supposed to be leaving for Westview?" a middle aged woman with pointed ears spoke to Cyprus.
  
  "September-something-or-another. It's three full moons after the sun starts setting earlier. You don't need to worry, mother. I won't miss it!" Cryprus responded.
  
  The older woman squinted her eyes. "Isn't that today?"
  
  Cyprus froze while peeling what was going to be part of their dinner. Their eyes widened as they looked at their mother. "Wait, is it??" They got up from the table in a rush, searching around their house while making a frantic mess. "Where's the... wadducallit? The calculator?"
  
  "You mean the calendar?" The woman said, holding up a small book-like object.
  
  "Yes, that!" Cyprus quickly grabbed it from their mother, flipping through the months, eventually landing on September. "What day is it??"
  
  The older woman looked at the calendar. "The day you're supposed to be leaving, it appears." Cyprus threw the calendar in the air, rushing to their room, muttering an obscene number of curses. "And you thought it was unnecessary to pack early..."
  
  "It's not my fault I follow the natural pattern of the sun and the seasons instead of an arbitrary dating system!" Cyprus shouted from the other room before leaping back out with their bags. They kissed their mother on the cheek before rushing for the door.
  
  "Wait! You should take a map!" she said.
  
  They paused to give her an offended look. "No one knows this forest better than I do, mother. I'll be fine." With that, they rushed out the door, racing for the pick-up spot they were to meet the vehicle at. Hopefully they weren't too late.
  
  Upon coming up to the clearing, Cyprus looked around for any semblance of man-made objects, aside from the giant road that was carved through their forest. They weren't one for the made-up constructs that the city dwellers created, but there was only so much you could do when your mother insisted on you going to a special school to learn how to control your magic. Granted, they couldn't blame her. They were just as annoyed by the floating objects and constant house upgrades they had to do because of the overgrown foliage. Annoyingly, it seemed as though they weren't going to find a solution because they can't keep track of dates and end up missing the transport vehicle.
  
  Cyprus was about to turn about and admit defeat to their mother when a carriage started coming down the road. An odd way of transporting students, but they found it much better than the loud rumbling of city cars. They eyed up the driver as they halted the carriage next to them. Inside the carriage, he heard some light chatter before a gentle feminine voice said, "Oh, looks like we've stopped."
  
  "Greetings, looking for a ride to Westview?" the driver asked.
  
  "Unfortunately," Cyprus replied. They followed it up with a big, cheesy grin so they driver didn't take them for being hostile. Or ungrateful.
  
  "We've got two more in the back already, go ahead and join them. What's your name?"
  
  "Cyprus!" They stepped into the carriage, looking at the two girls who sat opposite of each other before deciding to sit next to the green-haired one who looked less intimidating.
  
  "Are you keeping casual with just your first name as well?" the green haired girl asked.
  
  "I wish I could, but we don't really have a need for surnames out here."
  
  "Oh, I see. Well, I'm Evanora and this here is Persephone!" Evanora smiled brightly.
  
  "Nice to meet you both!" Cyprus said.
  
  Persephone spoke up, "I hope this isn't rude to ask, but uh... you have a very androgynous look, so I'm not sure if I should call you a guy, gal, or just pal."
  
  Cyprus let out a hearty laugh. "I'm none and all at the same time. You can call me whatever you like, I don't really care. If you're not sure, then I can just be your pal." They added a small wink at the end.
  
  "I, um... Alrighty, then..." Persephone said with a slightly exasperated look.
  
  The three could hear the driver speak up as the carriage took off again. "Next stop is Westview!"

ALL

The three new students chattered amongst themselves to pass the time. It wasn't long before the carriage rolled up to the entrance and the students were politely told to get out.

She looked at Kai with a blank expression then stepped aside without an answer. "Please continue to your dorm so that we may have this conversation in a more appropriate environment and situation." She wasn't one to hold off talks about these things but she needed to get over five other students in the building before the sun had set, away from its peak. "I'll call you to the office once I'm finished with these students, you may then have your questions and concerns addressed then. I'll send your dormmate in a while." She then handed Mia her paper once she approached them and watched her walk away. "Next is Luca and Cami."

Mia​

Mia watched as the disbanded and hurried to Amaya, grabbed her paper, and walked past the gate and into the building until she found her dorm. She stepped in and smiled at the spacious place. "THIS PLACE IS HUGE!" She dropped her bags and fell back onto her bed with her eyes closed as she took in her new room

grunts disliking this teacher and considered crushing her with gravity but resisted as he would most likely be killed and walks to my dorm

hears my name called and gets excited "oops looks like its my turn i will see you guys later have a good day" walks off towards the head and smiles at her "hello their"

SAM:
eventually gets bored and looks at them map and works out where i am on it and where the training hall is and makes my way towards it and smiles menacingly at it wondering what his fellow students can do and while he was here he thought he might aswell get some practise in while he can and creates multiple clones of himself made of ice creating 6 in total as a warm up andmakes a replica of my sword and closes my eyes filling them with the intent to kill me and begin weaving complex manouvers with my sword and holding each of them off at once not being tuched and inflicting wound after wound on the clones then dashes beetween them seeing an oppertunity dismambering each and every one of them in a few quick slashes and looks at them satisfyed as they fade away and continues with one opponent sparring untill he was disturbed

She smiled at both the students who came to her and handed them a map. "Both of your roommates should already be in the dorms waiting for you. As with the others, you'll be given an hour until dinner comes. If you have anything you want to bank or tell me just let me know!" She smiled and motioned them inside the building. "Now I'd like Amythest and Central."

Cami

Cami looked up and turned to Amaya, "Well, I guess it's my turn.." She thought to herself as she walked over and took the map as she listened to the headmistress speak. Once she was finished she then gave a warm smile at Luca before walking into the building then into her own dorm room. She then looked at Kai but quickly turned and sat on her bed. "I assume you're my roommate?"

Central​

Central wasted no time to stand when she heard her name being called and dropped the brick she had held. She was true to her word and had only been moments away from breaking the glass window of the school just to finally get in. She then groaned and didn't care for what the headmistress had to say, making her grab her map and walk ahead without a comment. Once she got inside she took a short glance down at her map then scoffed, "Yeah, I'm definitely going to hate it here..."

looks at her trying to quell his frustration and smiles a little "yeah my name is kai who are you?" looks her up and down and sees that she wont be as aggressive as some of the others and relaxs a little sitting on the sofa

Amethyst Lightwood

She walked over to the Headmistress and bowed her head quickly. She turned to look at her roommate and her eyes went slightly wide. She fluttered her wings and kept her Amethyst eyes on ground. She grabbed her papers from her and quickly headed inside and into her dorm. She gasped at how big it was. She sat down her cello in a remote corner of the room and sat down on a bed. She looked at her clubs and smiled, gardening. Pyrite said something about gardening so her mood was quickly lifted.

yells as i grip the sword with both hands and cleave a massive slash through the clone making it shatter fromm the pure force of it my yell echoing through the room and i put it in my empty holster and smiles in satisfaction that the head might be a little confused on how i got it back and i walk out the training room exploring more through the corridors and makes my way to the garden

Nimue Bloodwite

She took a quick look at her clubs and was surprised to find she was a leader of a fighting club. Sure she has some combat experience but definitely not as much as some here. She turned out of her dorm and decided she could do without meeting Mia and Kai for a little and went searching for the combat room. When she enter she almost gasped but managed to keep a straight face so far. Honeysuckle was on the floor and slithering around a little bit and Nimue took this as a sign she wanted to be used for training.

She smiled down at the 5 foot snake and walked to a dummy on the far wall. She tapped Honeysuckles tail and she was off and at the Dummy in a flash, her body already wrapped around the Dummy torso squeezing it. Nimue quickly shifted over to Honeysuckle and pressed her full palm to Honeysuckles back and Honeysuckle bit down quickly on the neck. If that would have been a real human she could have killed them easily. Nimue had a sly grin on her face and backed up a slightly bit.

sees nimue walk towards the training room afterbhearing her behind me as i left and decided to go and watch to see what she could do and watched impressed in the trust and control she has over such a dangerous animal and stands in the doorway with my arms crossed

Nimue Bloodwite

After awhile Nimue walked towards honeysuckle and tapped her head and her body. Honeysuckle released her bite and hold on the Dummy, flopping to the floor. Nimue cracked a grin and removed a vial from her side that she kept with her. She quickly drank it and it burned her thorat slightly as it went down. She took poison often to make sure her power stayed at its best. She tucked the vial away and picked up Honeysuckle, she slithered up her arm and draped over her shoulder and arm.

Nimue turned to see Sam in the doorway and her eyes went wide but she quickly recovered. She walked over to him, her red eyes curious why he was watching her. When she reached him she asked," Why were you watching me?" She had a slight frown on her face and Honeysuckle poked her head up to flick her tongue in the air to taste the new comer.

Evanora, Persephone, and Cyprus

The three late students cautiously approached the woman in the courtyard. She had an aura about her that screamed 'authority' and that made the students all the more nervous. None of them would've been surprised if they got chewed out for being late, but they clearly weren't too far behind schedule as a few students entered the building for the first time. As the three students approached the school, they were silent and waiting to be addressed... except for Cyprus, who stood quite a bit straighter than usual, almost looking like they were about to be commanded by a military officer. They only said one word, "Ma'am."

the suprise that played on her face if brief he had come to expect of most who saw him but he didnt mention and looks her dead in the eyes "i was watching to see what you could do and im guessing your doing the fighting course aswell?"

Central heard yelling coming from somewhere around her but only groaned. "Well, that's fucked if I were to even consider going towards that." She then made her way to her dorm room and smiled when she saw it was empty. "No annoying people around.." She slowly nodded, looks like ill be here for the whole school year after all..."

Cami

Cami could faintly sense the anger still in Kai and she sighed as she crossed her legs and rested her hands in her lap. "It's nice to meet you Kai, my name is Cami but I'm a bit more worried about what happened...Your energy seems a bit...off like something has upset you?" She met his eyes, "If you want to vent or maybe just someone to listen I wouldn't mind."

Mia

Mia had finally gotten comfortable but already grew rather bored in her room. She then stood and took out her map as she looked for her clubs. "Archery?" She mumbled under her breath a bit confused. She had never even held a bow before in her life but was the leader of a club...about archery. Welp, this proved that the headmistress was insane and didn't know what she was doing. She then started thinking that if she was going to lead a club on this she should have a bit of experience so she walked out of her room and began to make her way down the hall when she passed by Sam and Nimue. She then snuck up on Sam, "Boo!" She yelled as she attempted to scare him. She then waved at Nimue and Honeysuckle.

She tilted her head slightly and flashed a smile, her fangs all though not to sharp but still deadly looking flashed slightly. "Thats not what I can do thats what Honeysuckle can do. And yes I happen to be the bloody leader of it." She said the last part with a frown. She shifted her footing and Honeysuckle started to crawl down her arm, her head briefly resting at Nimues tattoo and her tail draped to the ground. She studied the male with a careful look and put one hand on her hip.

When see saw Mia her face lit up and waved to her after she attempted to scare Sam. "Hello Mia!" She said with a smile and Honeysuckle was off Nimues arm in a hreatbeat and started to slither to Mia and poked her leg with her head.

looks her up and down not how guys normally look at girls but looking for any flaws he could potentually exploit and the looks her in the eyes again. "is that so. well then i would like to test how proficent you are then and to see if you can hold up against me"

She frowned slightly as she looked back at him. "I have nothing special about me unless..." She trailed off and raised a eyebrow," You want to face me in a challenge?" She smirked as she thought of something. She waited to see if he was interested. "And if not then I guess I could fight you but Honeysuckle comes into play as well." She shifted her footing again.

a smirk plays on my lips as i walk to the centre of the room cracking my knuckles and turn around to look at her "good come at me when your ready" my face knits into a look of concentration and my eyes glow dimly

Nimue Bloodwite

She looked over her shoulder to Mia and grabbed Honeysuckle gentelly from her and set her on the floor. Nimues fingers slipped to her side and within seconds she had a wicked looking dagger that was the length or her forearm within her hand and she gripped it tightly. She reached down and tapped Honeysuckles tail. Honeysuckle looked at her for a split second and then was off, she wrapped around Sams leg squeezing it tightly. She covered a good portion off his leg and had her head raised ready to stroke when told. Nimue walked closer, the blade still hidden and her eyes were calculating waiting for Sam to make the first move.

smirks and his body turns into ice and soon doesnt feel the snake on him and dashes towards nimue quicker than any normal human should travel and thrusts an elbow up to her nose
