No, Elise didn't know, but to each their own. It was sweet to see him so obsessed with his son. "Well he sounds like a lovely boy, and I would love to meet him one day." She hoped that Martin wasn't too... naive, and would take that as a flirtatious attempt. She hoped, although she wasn't yet sure if he would pick up on it.

"Hmm... what a shame she couldn't see just how much of a catch you are. I would move anywhere for you." She smirked at him, and then took a sip of her coffee to cover up her smile. Alright, if Martin didn't pick up on that, then he was hopeless and Elise's flirtatious attempts would be better suited elsewhere.

Angelina gave an honest shrug. "I do have trust issues. Not with you, babe, but with others. I've had my heart broken enough times due to misplaced trust". She smiled her sweet smile as Rory lead her to a table, after she grabbed her coffee as well. She smoothed down her dress after sitting down. "I guessed it's your first relationship. You don't have to apologise for being clueless; it's good to be with someone who's honest and isn't cocky". She nodded after Rory asked her if she'd been in a relationship before, taking a small sip of her coffee and liking the taste. "Three. Two of them were a little... douchey. The worst one was my previous one. I was talking to Alester about it, since he brought up the subject somehow. Met a guy in a nightclub, we were both smashed, we slept together before making it official. But we got bored and didn't connect, plus he was always telling me to wear more makeup than necessary and ditch my glasses. This was back when I was living in England. So you can see where my trust issues stemmed from. Plus, my sister leaving didn't help".

June
She woke up slowly to the sound of her alarm, the whole fiasco yesterday made her stay up and now she wished she never set an alarm. She trudged out of bed and got ready, happy to try on a pretty nice outfit. This time, her mother had bought her this one. Perhaps today was the day they actual got the ball rolling on the play. She had even tried to sing to Mr. Plant.

She slowly ate a fruit bar as Grace drove her to school and found the both of them were quiet. She had heard around that Ryan had woken up. Without Sawyer around must be lonely, but June decided not to address it and ate her fruit bar. She only focused on going to the Newspaper room to retrieve her camera. She walked through the front door and went to throw away her wrapper as people looked at her wide eyed as she did. She frowned, a bit confused why people were looking at her as she walked down the hall. She also saw everyone was glued to their phones. Again, nothing too unusual. But, she saw everyone looking at it. Reading something. Something happen on Twitter? She thought trying to wrap her head around what was happening. She was walking when she saw someone walk up to her along with her friends. “When are you going to update again?” A girl said. She recognized her from Biology, but they never spoke outside of labs. June furrowed her eyebrows.

“Uh, update what exactly?”

The girls looked at each other as confused as her. “Your blog?”

June thought she was hearing things for a moment. Did she just mention her blog? She stepped back for a moment, laughing nervously. “What blog?”

Again, a confused look. “This.” The girl turned her phone around to revel June’s blog. June stood frozen. Her mouth opening and closing as she lurched forward. Snatching the phone from the girls hand, she scrolled and found her own words staring right back at her. “W-where... where did you find this?”

“Uh, it was sent out to everyone.” Another girl piped up.

June paled. She was going to throw up. Quickly shoving the phone in the girl’s hand again she sprinted off. Now feeling thousands of eyes looking at her. She felt out of breath once she reached the Newspaper room and saw on all the monitors.

Her blog.

Nova

After the shit show that Monday ended up being, Nova couldn't have asked for her night to have gone any better. Drake had been a wonderful friend to her, making her feel so much better about the entirety of the situation, and Alaska... well, the brunette felt like she knew one half of the Vaughn twins much better than she did before. The trio had ended up leaving the cursed campus and retreating to Nova's house, watching random Netflix series and cuddling up together on couch, shielding themselves from the cruel world that was Westbrook. It wasn't something that she was used to, but it was nice, having these two people want to be around her without wanting anything from her. The brunette only hoped it wasn't just a one time gig.

Tuesday morning came around and punched Nova in the face, waking her from her heavy sleep as her curtains betrayed her, letting in the smallest sliver of light to shine in her eyes. She groaned, pissed that she had to go back to that hell hole and grabbed her phone, which was blowing up for no apparent reason. "What now?" The words were more of a snarl than anything else, although once she opened the suspicious message the anger dropped from her body. Jumping out of bed, Nova rushed to her closet and grabbed a pair of faded blue skinny jeans, along with her black Docs, and- oh. The hazel eyed girl slowly reached down into her drawer and picked up one of Jace's shirts. It was simple, a faded green t-shirt with a pocket in the front. A small frown laced Nova's lips as she took a deep breath, putting the shirt back into her drawer and grabbed a loose yellow sweater instead. Throwing it over her head and tucking it in, she quickly filed on a belt, grabbed her backpack and bolted to school.

Parking was, luckily, in abundance, and even though she was sure she had parked like a complete ass, she doubted anyone would leave a note on a giant truck... right? Right. Making her way to the halls, Nova scanned for a familiar face, phone clutched in ring-clad fingers and eyes almost manic. The first person she saw was Drake, standing by a locker, to which she ran up, turned him around with a light pull on his shoulder and shoved her screen up to his face. "What is this?!" Her words were nearly yelled, and while she was sure that the blue eyed guy had no clue what it was either, she needed someone to vent with. This school just got crazier and crazier.

Grace
tumblr_inline_p1oaepWPn41rifr4k_540.gif
Grace was looking for clothes, getting ready for her day as usual, she was brushing her hair when she got an alert from her phone. She picked it up to see what it was. Although as soon as she did it powered off. Grace sighed, she forgot to charge her phone the night before. Pocketing the phone and putting a charger in her bag, her eyes lingered on the pills she was supposed to take. She talked to her mom about her old ones, Grace thought they weren't working as well considering it was so hard for her to focus. The pills kind of lost their purpose. She got a whole different prescription. So she was unsure about taking them, It was probably a bad idea. But she decided to not to.

The drive to school was rather quiet, finally charging her phone in the car. Grace's mind was on Ryan. She felt terrible that he'd been through so much, Sawyer had told her about the amputation and she couldn't believe it. Grace just wished there was something she could do to help.

She made her way through the halls, she couldn't help but feel like almost everyone was staring at her, when she made eye-contact they just kept staring. What was that about? Walking to her locker and getting the things she needed out. Alex walked up to her. "Uh. Hey Alex, what's up?" It wasn't like him to have conversations with her out of the blue, they knew each-other. But they weren't exactly friends. "I have to say i was surprised." She raised her eyebrows at him, "Surprised about what?" She asked, putting the books she didn't need inside her locker.

"You and Sawyer." Her eyes snapped to his in an instant. "What?" She was taken aback, was he talking about their relationship? How did he even know.. "I didn't even know you were gay, it's pretty cool to be honest, i mean i am too i just-" Grace tuned him out as her face paled, when did he find out? Did Sawyer tell him? Who else knew? So many questions were going through her head. She just stared at him, unsure of what to say. "H-how did you.." She tried to ask, Alex just pulled out his phone handed it to her.

She immediately took it, scanning through it. June's blog.. she had a blog? No, forget about that. ... She outed her? No, she wouldn't. Right? reading the rest of it, it was clear June did. Her eyes started to water, "No, she said that she wouldn't.." Her voice broke, distraught. She pushed the phone in Alex's chest. "Grace, are you okay?" He asked, but she ignored him, brushed past. Looking around at the passersby in the hallway, quickly turning away when they made eye-contact. She was supposed to tell who she wanted when she was ready. Why would she.. even.. It was over. Everyone knew. There was no keeping this secret anymore. She wanted to be alone, away from everyone else who was interested in even looking at her. Trying as best she can to ignore all the eyes on her, although painfully aware of it. She rushed into the girls' bathroom, uncaring about what stall to pick, slamming it shut, pulling her phone out and re-reading the blog, over and over again. shedding the tears that built up.

Grace felt alone, like an outcast. But more importantly, she felt broken.

Alaska

giphy.gif

Alaska was dreading school today more than usual, the only reason she'd come was because Ryder had practically forced her into the car. Yesterday had drained all the energy out of her, spending most of the afternoon laying under a pile of blanket's at Nova's house and bonding with the new girl. The only good thing to come out of yesterday was that she, Nova, and Drake had spent plenty of quality time together and Alaska felt that just maybe with the help of her friends she'd be okay.

Walking into school she received a notification from Nova, opening the message to see a screenshot of what appeared to be a blog. She didn't understand why she'd sent it until she saw Drake's name and then Ryder's, her blood boiling as she saw just who had posted it. Looking around she spotted her friends standing by Drake's locker, quickly walking up to them with murder in her eyes.

"Who the fuck posted this? I'm going to murder someone." The brunette spat, too angry to even consider the consequences. Drake had been through a lot, and as stupid as her brother was he didn't deserve to have his reputation ruined. Once Nova pointed out the name at the top of the blog the brunette took off without saying a word, looking for the petite red-head with a vengeance.

"June I'm going to fucking kill you!" She screamed as the red-head came into view, intent on breaking the small girl's face for targeting the few people she cared about.

Ryder

original.gif

Monday had ended much better than it had started, he and Ash had spent the evening watching Netflix and eating snacks, giving him hope that life could go back to normal. However with a new school day came another day he was certain to be judged by half the school for the constant drama that was surrounding him. Between what had happened with Kanen and Ash it seemed no one didn't have an opinion. it was annoying, but as long as Ash and Alaska had forgiven him he didn't care about anyone else's opinions.

Within minutes of walking into school he heard yelling, instantly tensing up as he figured it was Kanen coming to beat him up yet again. Instead of Kanen, it was his sister doing the screaming this time, threatening a familiar red-head as she strode towards her.

"Oh shit."

Ryder took off running, grabbing Alaska by her waist just in time to yank her back before she could throw the first punch. "Put me down!" She yelled, thrashing in his arms as she tried to get away. It seemed they couldn't go even 24 hours without one of them getting into a fight, violence seemed to follow the Vaughn's around. Although it seemed Alaska was the cause of most of it, apparently she was trying to cause him as much trouble as possible this year.

"Calm the fuck down and tell me what happened." Ryder demanded, turning his fuming sister around to look at him, holding her small frame in place with ease. His twin glared up at him, pouting like a petulant child as he restrained her before calming down enough to form words.

"This bitch posted shit about you online. Can I go back to murdering her now?"

"No."

Ash
tumblr_inline_p8ahnv35Eo1urfelz_540.gif

She'd thought that she'd hit rock bottom. Ash was convinced that at this point, there was nothing that could be done that could make her feel even worse. A good portion of the school knew about the incident, Ryan had said he hated her, and now Nova was mad at Jace, again, and it was her fault this time... or, well, it had been her fault last time, too. When had she become like a hurricane that just destroyed everyone in her path? Better yet, she decided that sleeping with Ryder had to be cursed. After all, everything had been fairly put together before she'd made such a... a decision. No, she didn't want to call it stupid, but it wasn't the best.

After Ryder had departed and Jace and their father got home, Steve West had sat them down for a talk. Ash was panicking -- surely he'd found out what happened with all the drama and was set on trying to murder people. Instead, he just informed that he had lost his job. And worst of all, while he found a new one, they would be firing the cleaning people. Which meant that Jace and Ash to clean, and even worse, her dad would always be home now.

And then to top it off, her phone went off in the middle of the night. Bleary-eyed, Ash had picked it up to see what happened, and it was just some kind of blog. June's Blog. The girl playing Frenchy. Confused, Ash opened it up, and then her heat dropped when she saw a video of her yelling at Kanen and loudly announcing that she had slept with Ryder. Now, not only was it a handful of people that knew, but the entire school that knew. As if she wasn't hated enough.

After that, Ash had been unable to sleep and instead considered just skipping school. Or maybe dropping out, changing her name, and moving across the country to start a new life free of stupid boys and high school drama. Yeah, that sounded perfect. But in the end, she had unwillingly gotten dressed, and then trudged her way to school.

When she entered, she could feel eyes staring at her. Glancing up from their phones, whispering, and all Ash wanted to do was go somewhere alone and never leave.

Despite that, Ash knew that Grace had to be going through a harder time. She should've known that she was gay -- it made sense. That was why Grace had never dated, and she was always so awkward about talking about guys. And to think, Ash had thought Grace had slept with Ryan. Huh. Anyway, she saw her friend run into the bathroom and knew Ash had to be there -- Grace had been there for her through all the sucky times of the last month, and there was no way she wouldn't be there for her.

"Uh, Grace?" Ash asked as she walked into the bathroom.

Drake

Yes, Drake had seen the blog. No, Drake didn't care. It wasn't like he was quiet about his addiction. However, he did mind that June had openly spread word of his bipolar disorder. Not something that Drake had ever wanted shared with the world, but now it was out for everyone to know. However, yes, he was sick. But yes, Drake was proud. He was a messed up kid with an addiction to prescription painkillers, and he had episodes of mania and depression, but that was him.

However, Nova didn't seem to be as careless about the whole ordeal as he was, and she came out of nowhere, yelling at him and shoving her phone into his face. Drake tried to pull back to actually view the phone screen, and ended up falling into his locker, and just managed to grab the edges of it before he fell into the endless abyss. "Uh... June's blog?" He questioned, reading the article that was posted... which included his addiction and his disorder.

Oh boy. "Hey! This one's about me!" Drake said, trying to grin from his position in the locker. Deciding it wasn't super comfortable, he pushed his way out, reading over what it said. "Yep. Sounds accurate. June must've gotten that information from Mason. No one else knows all that, after all." Drake laughed.

And then all hell broke loose, and Alaska came up yelling, and then took off. "Oh no. Oh no no no no." He yelled, running after Alaska as quickly as he could. Thankfully years of sports and running from his problems had left Drake nice and fast, so he was soon following the angry girl with ease and so thankful that Ryder was there to catch her... until he heard Mason yelling.

Mason
tumblr_inline_pav9q4dyFn1rw8cq9_250.gif

He had trusted her, and told her everything -- Drake's addiction, problems with his mother, and even worse, worst of all, she had put Ariana in there and now the whole school knew everything. Mason had trusted someone for once and told them his problems, and he was mad. June had ruined his trust in her, and he was on a warpath at he stormed into the school, shoving people aside as he he headed for the news room where he sure June was hiding.

Mason burst in, throwing the door open and stood in the doorway, his hands clenched into fists. "What the hell, June? What the hell?" He snapped, stomping his way towards her while he yelled at her, still shoving people out of his way. "I fucking trusted you. You lied to me the whole fucking time. You just wanted to know my secrets so that you could fucking get people to read the crap you write. What the fuck?" He yelled, his voice rising with each word that he yelled.

"I hate to fucking break it to you, but this is why people don't share shit around here. Like, look what happened to Ryder and Ash! They tell a couple people, and now the whole fucking school knows." Yeah, they were probably the easiest example to mention. "Look, I'm sorry that whatever backwater town you came from taught you that people were just stories to be written. I hate to break it to you, but we have feelings and emotions. Two things you've obviously never heard of."

Chapter 1: There is no Devil.
Religion in and of itself is a comforter. People like to feel like there is some higher power, watching over them, keeping them safe, even going as far as to bless them or enhance their lives in some way or form. However, there are two sides to every coin. If there is some all powerful, all good being, there must be the opposite. The Devil. While the Devil is typically described as some sort of evil monster, the Devil is still a comforter.
It is easier for people to blame their misfortune on some evil being, than to simply accept the truth. Life is not fair. Men are not angels. The world ultimately doesn't care about one insignificant boy.
Kanen had accepted this. He wasn't here, lost in the streets of Boston because he was cursed by Lucifer. He was here, because Kanen had messed up. This wasn't by design, the Devil himself had not lead him here, or tricked him into leaving Westbrook. There was no Devil. There were only Kanen’s own mistakes. There was no one to blame but himself. He was the one who was violently lashing out, by his own choice. Kanen was the one that chose to isolate himself from the world. This was Kanen. Only Kanen.
Kanen was never one to place the blame on others, but it had always been a pleasant thought. If there was some demon or devil or whatever you wanted to call it, things had to get better eventually right? Whatever was there, cursing his should had to go away?
But no. That just wasn't the case. Kanen had driven hundreds of miles. Crossed state lines. Gone through dozens of counties. But he didn't feel any better. You can't just run from yourself…

It was pouring in Boston as Kanen trudged through the streets. He wasn't really sure where he was going at this point, he was just sick of sitting camped out in his car. The rain ran through his hair, trickling through the perfectly messy locks and running down his face. Drops of water hung precariously on his nose, lips, and chin; falling with each step he took.
Neon signs hung overhead, advertising everything from strip clubs to midget fights, all the way down to wacky themed bars. Boston was interesting if nothing else.
His eyes paused over a sign that read ‘Far North Brewers’. God, Kanen wanted a drink. Not just one, but dozens. He wanted to flood hi liver with tonic until his heartbeat sounded like war drums and the world spun around him. But, without a fake ID, or any connections here, Kanen was left with nothing. He had finished what little he had the other day, and instead of satisfying him, Kanen only wanted more. He was tumbling back down into addiction. After nearly a month of being sober, Kanen was going right back to it.
But still. This was him. There was no Devil on his shoulder telling him to get a drink. There was only Kanen’s own failing morality.
The streets here were filthy. Cigarette butts and garbage lined the gutters, with more trash stacked up in every alleyway he passed by. The rain pouring down into the streets struggled to flow past the mass of refuse as it made its way to the drainage system.
He could hear men yelling and screaming at each other from down the street. At this time of night, Kanen wouldn't be at all surprised to just find a couple of drunks arguing over something stupid. After all, Kanen had been there.
Mindlessly, Kanen continued wandering, eventually making his way down a random alleyway. It was like he was suddenly in another world. It was quieter, nuzzled between the brick buildings. Darker too, with no neon signs or street lights to cast down there glow. It was the perfect to rob unsuspecting idiots, and Kanen was no exception.
“And where the fuck do you think you're going?” Kanen heard some man shout from behind.
Kanen ignored the voice and only kept on walking. However, when he heard a bear bottle shatter just behind him, Kanen stopped and turned.
“Really? If you fucking pussies wanted to hurt me you woulda done it already..” Kanen spoke, staring down three men not even twenty feet away from him. They were gruff, with unshaven faces, beards that caught the rain as it fell. Their clothes were in tatters, distinctly worse condition than Kanen’s own. However, they were armed, as well as they could be anyways. On man held some sort of pipe, the other a knife. The third just stood there, cracking his knuckles…
“We don't want your life, dipshit. Just your fucking money.”
“And if I don't give it to you?”
“You don't have a choice kid…”
The men moved closer, spreading themselves out around him like hungry wolves. Kanen didn't shift though. He’d lost whatever fighting spirit he’d had. In absolute honesty, these men could probably beat him unconscious and he wouldn't do much to fight back. That said, Kanen wasn't about to just hand over his things. If they wanted it so bad, they damn well better be prepared to take it from him.
The man with the piped stepped towards him from behind, hitting the back of his knees with the heavy metal. There wasn't enough force there to really break bones, but it was enough to force Kanen down onto his hands and knees. After that, all three of the men didn't seem to be too worried about whether or not Kanen would fight back.
One by one, they took turns kicking him, driving the toes of their shoes into his torso and legs. It hurt. Of course it fucking hurt. But Kanen didn't yell, or scream or any of that. He just took it, laying there on the ground. Flinching every time they delivered another blow. Grunting when his ribs strained under their force. Then like a light, Kanen was out.

He woke up hours later. His wallet was gone, the whole thing. They hadn't even been kind enough to leave him his fucking ID. His shoes were missing too, and strangely enough, so was one of his socks. Only one though. Worst of all, they had taken his car keys and phone. The nuggets had left him with nothing but the clothes on his back..

There was no Devil. But evil men played the role just fine.
It hurt to move. Every cough, breath, or twitch made his chest explode into waves of pain. So he layed there, like a corpse, letting the rain come down on him, soaking him to his core. He was cold now, but every time he shivered, the pain came flooding back. In absolute honesty, Kanen wishes they had just killed him.
He rose slowly, pushing up against the alley wall and leaning for support. Even though, his legs trembled, his body ached. Every thought he had screamed for him to just stop. But what could he do? Just lay there all night? Pray that someone found him before some crack head did? The idea was tempting.
He didn't know what time it was, or where he was, or anything really. The sky black, so it was safe to assume it was night, but past that, Kanen was clueless. He stumbled forwards, leaning this way and that as he moved. He just wanted to find his car, go to sleep. But Kanen wouldn't make it far. He wouldn't even make it back to the main roads before he fell again, hitting the pavement with a hard thud.
This time, Kanen yelled out. He couldn't help it. His chest felt like it was burning inside him. It was the type of scream that made you jump. Nightmarish would be the most accurate description, but even then, it falls short. Kanen just wanted the pain to end. And then it did.
Kanen closed his eyes.
When he opened them it wasn't raining anymore.
His eyes fell closed again.
When Kanen awoke, there were two men in dark suits standing over him.
For the third time, Kanen fell unconscious again. When he came to, he was in the back of a car…
There is no Devil. Only men.

Nova
28e2f7bfd99188710f4ab2d51c78325e.gif
At this point, Nova was almost amused. No really, she was utterly unfazed at this entire ordeal. Of course, it had been pretty shocking when she had first woken up, worry flooding her as it always did, heart pounding as it always did, but now? She figured that it wasn't her problem. After all, Drake didn't seem too concerned with the information being leaked, and besides Alaska's mad dash to destruction, this hadn't a thing to do with the brunette. She obviously cared about her friends, more than anything right now considering her relationship was on somewhat of a shaky ground but hey, otherwise she was in the clear from this entire ordeal, right?

Almost.

As Alaska was sprinting down the hallways like a bat out of hell, Drake sprinting after her and Ryder catching his sister in his arms, Nova groaned. Why was she always involved? She was new! No one really had any idea who she was, right?!

Wrong again. A third party came yelling in, quickly being identified as Mason, as Nova started down the hallway in a jog. Everyone was pissed, everyone was fuming, yada yada yada, and here came little peacemaker herself. The poor redhead that the lot was towering over looked terrified, her eyes wide and limbs looking like they would blow away at the next person who screamed. "You guys are right outside of an empty classroom," The brunette groaned, gesturing towards the door with a roll of her eyes. "For once, literally just once, if we're gonna kill someone can we not do it in a hallway? Must we be so cliche?" Yeah, Nova was over it. But, considering three of the four were her friends, she knew she wasn't going to escape this one.

Raven
tumblr_osrvhvN29M1wu1fago3_r1_250.gif

Raven awoke to pounding on her front door, "Jesus, Nancy. I'm coming, i'm coming." She yelled throughout the house. Opening the door, it wasn't Nancy at all. It was a police officer, she immediately stood up straight, crossing her arms. "Can i help you?" She asked, The man eyed her and looked behind her, looking into the house as well. When his gaze changed from her, she stepped in-front of his point of view. "Let's try this again." She told him, glaring at the him. "Can i help you." Raven said through gritted teeth, she didn't care he had a badge. He was pissing her off. After a few moments he complied with her, "Is Andrea Rivera here?" Raven's heart sank as she nodded no. It was the truth, so she wasn't lying. Conversation went back with forth with the police officer until he gave up, giving her his card and leaving. She sighed out of relief, a little while later actual Nancy showed up, and Raven walked her way to school.

Raven walked through the halls, on her way to her locker. When voices caught her attention, she turned to them. They were yelling at June..? Why. Raven made her way to them, attempting to stop Alaska from hurting June, and sighed when Ryder did. "What the fuck?" Raven looked to Alaska, when Mason came up yelling at her too, it didn't clear things up.

She stepped in front of Mason, "Mason. Stop." She told him, she furrowed her brows in confusion, "What the hell is going on?" She asked, Looking Individually at Mason, Ryder, Alaska, and June. She raised a brow at June, "Secrets?" Turning her attention to Nova, who'd just walked up. Rolling her eyes. This whole school was a cliche. "Yes, we must be." She shrugged towards the rest, waiting an explanation. "Can someone please let me know why the whole school suddenly turned on June?"

June
She couldn’t believe her eyes. Everything. Everything. But, who could have leaked it? She narrowed her eyes at her computer, she was going to head to it until she heard shouting. Looking over she flinched as she saw an Alaska coming towards her. Now she was understanding other consequences. She instinctively raised her arms up to block herself until she felt nothing. She dropped her arms to find Ryder holding Alaska back. Relief filled her briefly. “Look I didn’t, ugh!” She started, but couldn’t finish. How in the world could she explain to people she didn’t do it. There’s not a chance in the world they will be willing to listen to her.

She opted to go back to trying to get into her computer, only entering as she heard other shouts. This time, from the one person she was dreading. She turned around to find... “Mason...” She whispered until he started shouting as well. She started to step back as he stomped toward her. She could hear others talking too, but everything was getting so blurry. I need the computer. Where’s my camera? She thought to herself despite an overwhelming sense of anxiety from the situation.

“Mason please listen. I didn’t mean for any of this to happen.” She managed to get out as tears brimmed slowly. Then it got worse as Raven came in. June shook her head and quickly turned around. She couldn’t even look at the computer. Her camera. She opened the drawer quickly and she gripped her hand around the handle. She slammed the drawer shut, her camera was gone. This was clearly aimed to ruin her.

“The blog got out and everyone knows everyone’s secrets!” She said instantly yelling. She couldn’t stay. She couldn’t breathe. She looked around and saw everyone was after her head. “I wasn’t the one... I wasn’t the one who did it.”

"How come Mason gets to yell at her and I don't?" Alaska complained, watching as Mason lost his shit on the redheaded girl. it was shocking to think Mason had a kid, and if it was true then June really did deserve the fury he was exhibiting. You couldn't air out everyone's dirty laundry without consequences.

"Oh you didn't do it? Someone just happened to know the same exact secrets as you and had the video from the auditorium and also just happened to hack your account and post it? Sounds real likely." The brunette rolled her eyes, straining against Ryder's grip in vain. Eventually, she gave up the struggle and accepted she wasn't going to get to break June's face just yet.

Drake had seemingly brushed the whole incident off, acting as if he didn't care one bit about the blog post which worried Alaska more than anything. Ryder would be fine, at this point she figured he could survive just about anything with all the shit he'd gone through in the last week, but Drake was a different story. The hockey player was more protective of her friend than her own siblings, he'd been through enough shit already and he was never anything but nice to everyone.

Ryder

"Listen I don't give a shit that she posted about me and Ash. Everyone practically knew already thanks to Kanen, and I don't give a shit what anyone has to say about it." Ryder tried to calm his twin down, looking to Drake for help. If anyone could get her to stop her murderous plans it was her best friend. It was astonishing how different the two were and yet they got along so well,Drake was about the only person Alaska hadn't tried to punch yet.

He didn't even really know June, the idea that she would spread the news about him sleeping with Ash was shocking considering he'd only spoken to her once. He wasn't sure what he'd done to deserve the wrath of June, but he didn't care enough to let his sister get suspended for murder. The only thing he was really worried about was Ash's reaction, it seemed like the universe was truly out to get her. He'd make sure to text her as soon as he had his fighty sister under control.

Mason

He wanted to believe her, but he couldn't. How else would all of this information gotten out and how else would the blog have been posted? "Oh yeah? It's called June's Blog. Who the hell else in this school is named June?" No one. That was the answer. Her name was unique. Either way, Mason would've known who had posted it. He'd only told June about that. Only her. Not another soul knew about his secrets and at this point, after what had happened, no one else would.

When Raven came in, obviously confused and with no idea what had happened, Mason could barely keep his anger down. He remembered the post that he had skimmed about her. "So, your addict mother hit Ryan, huh? Aren't you so happy that now the entire school knows all about?" Mason's dark amber eyes turned from Raven back to June, glaring at her. No matter what she said, he couldn't be convinced that she hadn't meant to do it.

He turned back to June and wouldn't continued yelling if little Drake had slipped his way up, pushing his brother back.

Drake

With a few muttered apologies to the angry masses, Drake slipped his way past everyone to stand beside Raven and in front of June. On the way, he'd pushed Mason back a bit, and now he stood there, proudly, with his hands on his hips. "Guys," he said. "Look. Is this really a big deal? Yes, June shared some horrible things about us. But I'm sure there's nothing to worry about. Everything will blow over in a few days. It always does." He said, smiling as he said so.

His eyes locked on Alaska, and he hoped that she could calm down enough for Drake's words to actually get through. Thank god Ryder was here -- no one else probably would've been willing to hold back the angry girl. "Alaska, everyone already knew about Ryder and Ash, anyway. There's no need to be mad. And like, yeah, it was a mistake, but everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure there's a totally reasonable answer to all of this." He pointed out.

"And Mason, well... yeah, you have a daughter. But you're a kick ass dad. Embrace it. Ari is like the only thing is this whole world that Mason doesn't hate." He laughed at his own joke, although Mason just kept glaring, and the laughter soon died and Drake cleared his throat, trying to stay on top of everything.

"And Raven, we all have parents who make bad decisions." Drake said although... okay, yeah, Raven's thing was pretty bad and he really hoped that Ryan would be able to forgive her.

Finally, Drake turned to June, smiling as he did so and gently put a hand on her shoulder. "Look. I'm sure you didn't mean it, and it was just an accident. But I forgive you. Yes, I've overdosed a few times and I'm addicted to pills and I'm bipolar, but that's alright. It's me, and I don't care that the whole school knows." Hopefully that would help. "Anyway, tell me, what happened?"

Grace looked up from the phone when she heard a voice that sounded way too familiar, It was Ash. Oh god, no. "Grace isn't here." She told her, She didn't want to talk about this, not right now. But if she would've talked to anyone, it would be Ash. She was just so afraid that it wouldn't turn out okay. "Just, go." Grace said as she wiped away tears. She put her face in her hands, silently praying she wouldn't try to get her to talk. It'd just hurt more.

"Please." She barely spoke, her voice hoarse from crying.

Grace knew Ash had to be upset too, the video of her admitting sleeping with Ryder had to bother her. She wanted to check on her best friend, despite not knowing if they were even friends anymore. She waited to hear footsteps, indicating that she'd leave, but none came. Sighing in defeat, she spoke. "....Are you okay?" She asked her hesitantly.

Raven

Raven's eyes went from confusion, to shock, to anger. When Mason talked about her mother, Raven opened her mouth to spit back a reply, but before she could Drake intervened. Turning back towards June. She put all that on the internet? She thought shaking her head, Raven knew shouldn't of told her. It what she deserves for letting someone in. Glaring harshly at Drake when he tried to make everything better. "Somebody literally lost a fucking limb." She told him fuming.

"Because of the internet, people now know my mother hit Ryan. She's probably going to jail." Raven gave Drake a fake smile, "But, hey. At least you don't care the school knows about you."

Glaring towards Mason, she spoke. "Maybe you should talk some sense into your addict brother." Throwing his own words back at him. With a last look towards June. "..We'll talk later." She said more disappointed than anything else. Raven walked away, shoulder checking Mason while doing so.

Roaming through the halls, pulling up her phone, she hated that she didn't see the alerts earlier. Once skimming through the blog, which only made her feel worse. She opened Ryan's contact, her thumb hovering over the call button. What exactly was she supposed to say? Sorry you lost a leg because of my mom.. anyway hear any gossip for the paper? She gripped her phone tightly, upset with herself that she trusted June in the first place. Maybe she says that she wasn't the one to post it online. But she's the only one who had that information, so she had to be somewhat at fault. But if Raven was truly blaming anyone, it was herself.

Alester
Alester hadn't expected Mason to react this way. Of course he knew Mason would be mad, but to beat up his best friend? No one had seen this coming. Alester hadn't had time to react to Mason before he was lying on the ground and Mason was already gone. His head hurt and was going to be bruised for sure. He started crying. He had totally fucked up everything. He should have never given Drake the drink, but how was he supposed to know? Mason had never told him about Drake's problems. The only secret Mason had told Alester ever was about his daughter, and that was because the uncles of Alester were taking care of her. Alester lay on the ground for a few more minutes before standing up and walking out of the school to go home.
The next morning Alester woke up with a bruised face and a sore back. He checked his phone and saw June's leaked blog. Nothing was posted about him, but Alester didn't had secrets. He could figure out Mason would be mad about his secret getting out. Alester remembered a few weeks ago, after the showdown with Neck-Tie Alester and calmed down Mason by visiting his daughter. It was the only thing that could Mason calm down really. Now those times were gone. Alester was mad at Mason. No one should beat his best friend up if they had done something stupid and were sorry for it.
When Alester arrived at the school he drove past it. Today was not a good day to be at school. Some people might even suspect him to leak the blog of June because of his stunt after the party. Also half of his face was bruised. He went to the club instead. He walked at the shore and thought about all the things that happened. Never had a start of a schoolyear been this terrible. Everyone was mad at everyone. Ice and Fire didn't mix afterall. Alester wouldn't go to school today, if someone misses him they should message him, but he was sure that wasn't going to happen.

Josh parked his cabrio in the parking spot most close to the school entrance. Yesterday his father had bought him this spot. This morning he had read about all the drama happening at the school. It was like he had landed in a bad reality soap with way to much clichés and drama. Josh was like a diamond. If you don't polish it, it is ugly as hell. But once you spend time getting to know him you would see that he was actually a pretty nice guy with an enormous pressure on his shoulders. He carried the whole future of his family Dynasty. However during all these years, no person had managed or had taken the time to polish the diamond.
Josh opened the doors of the school and searched for his locker. In the hallway he heard people screaming about killing someone called June. Josh figured it was the girl whos blog with secrets was published. What a naughty girl. Once he put all his things in his locker he sat down on a bench and started to check out the school. Everyone who passed Josh got judged by him. Some faces were worth remembering. After he had done that he scrolled trough his dm's and waited for the first class to start.

Rory smirked. "So I'm your best boyfriend right?". He felt a bit overough confident but all he wanted was to be a great boyfriend despite not knowing how to do that. "Thanks for making me comfortable. Sometimes I question why a person like you with experience would want to be with a person like me". He took a sip of drink still ignoring the sugar coating his teeth.

"Of course, baby. It's no problem. Besides, not all of my experiences were good. Most of my exes I met when I was drunk, remember? But I've finally found a guy that I connect with. Sure, I was drunk but I felt something when I saw you. That's never happened before.I'll be the best girlfriend I can be". Angelina leaned over and kissed Rory's lips again, nearly knocking over her coffee.

"You already are the best girlfriend", he muttered before his lips were locked into a kiss. He thought about Angelina's exes and wondered what 'not connecting' meant so he could avoid doing that but he wouldn't want to intrude on her personal life since if was none of his business. After all he still didn't tell her everything about him.

The gangs, the guns, stealing. The things he used ton do with brother before he was, as his mother would say, purified. Now he lived a great life with two successful parent who loved him but he still wasn't happy because the one thing he knew and loved the most was still far away and probably gone forever. His memory of Jayden was slowly fading and all that was left was his voice.

Rory blinked noticing the his eyes were watering. "This drink is...sour I think I'll throw it away then we can leave if you want".

Sawyer

Sawyer had spent most of the night holed up in Ryan's hospital room, and had only shuffled into her own bedroom at around 12:30. She was a little late getting up and sluggishly made her way around her room in preparation for the day. Sawyer probably should've gone to bed instead of talking to Grace into the late hours of the might about Ryan's situation, but it was too late now.

Sawyer's dad was already gone for work by the time she made it into the kitchen. A note and a plate with bacon and toast on it were left for her to find. Shoving the food down her throat as fast as she could, Sawyer hustled out the door with her beanie hanging from her fingers. A quick glance at her phone before pulling away had her doing a double take. There in front of her was....a lot. Sawyer didn't really pay too much attention to the other names there was only one that caught her eye. Grace. Oh shit.

Sawyer had attempted to call Grace several times on her way to the school to no avail. The school halls were crowded with people looking at their phones and glancing up whispering. Several of them made an attempt to stare at her but she just raised an eyebrow at them and they looked away. Everyone already knew about her she would assume, Sawyer couldn't care less it was Grace she was worried about. It wasn't until she was halfway down the hall that Sawyer realised she had no idea where Grace was.

"Alex! Hey, weasel. Have you seen Grace?" Sawyer grabbed Alex by the back of his shirt and he turned around with a groan to answer her.

"Yeah. She ran off that way after I asked her about you two. Nice catch, by the way." Sawyer glared at him and shoved him off into the locker and ran off in the direction where he had pointed. The sound of Ash's voice from the bathroom as she passed had Sawyer stopping and slowly making her way inside. She stopped short when she heard Grace's voice. Sawyer's heart broke in two and any words she was going to say died on her tongue. She gave Ash an acknowledging nod and lifted herself up onto the sink. Her hands ran down her face and she sat twisting her beanie between her fingers.

For the first time in a long time, Sawyer was at a loss for words. All she knew was that the second she saw June's face the red head was gonna wish she didn't exist.

Neck Tie gnawed away at his KitKat like a rabbit with a carrot while he listened to his new friend beanie boy. Some of the names Jace mentioned were just going in one ear and out the other. He hardly knew any of those people personally, except for Kanen, and he’d kinda met Ash at her party. But that didn’t stop him from pretending to relate to the story Jace was telling him because when in doubt, just keep calm and nod.

He’d just taken another crunching bite of the wafer bar when Jace asked if he had any sisters. ‘Nah, it’s just me and my twin brothers,’ Neck Tie said, covering his chocolate-filled mouth as he spoke. ‘One’s Nick, and Josh is the other. . . But they’re like babies and they’re living with me mum in England. I’ve got no one now. I’m just here with me dad.’

Neck Tie dusted the crumbs and chocolatey flakes off his hands then wiped his hands on his skinny jeans (they were going in the washing tonight anyway). Then he pulled out his red Liverpool FC wallet and showed Jace a picture of his brothers. ‘Here they are. They’re a bit older now. But I haven’t got a recent photo of them.’

Then he took the picture back and slipped it carefully back into his wallet which was also returned into his tight pocket. ‘I think she’s just a little upset is all. Nova, I mean. I don’t think she’s mad mad at you. . . cos you didn't do anything wrong,’ he said rubbing his small nose, ‘But if she still won’t talk to you, I can talk to her. . . I can help you, Jace, if you like. But you’re not losing her, not ever, cos I swear I won’t let it happen as long as I'm here, OK? So everything's going to be better, I promise.’ He said then offered Jace his handkerchief. Who knew where that handkerchief had been all day but it was better than letting Jace cry his eyes out.

June
She grimaced under her breath as they asked her who. The problem was, she wasn’t sure. Another problem was. She did actually write the blogs, therefore she did deserve whatever anger is thrown at her. Suprisingly she hadn’t been punched yet. “I... uh,” she tried to speak again, but felt backed into a corner. She couldn’t talk. How could she explain herself? The only slightly good news was Ryder was okay with it and was willing to help. Then, Drake came and she thought he was going to be angry too.

She listened as he talked and for a guy she barely talked to in the hospital she saw it wasn’t a one time thing. He was genuinely nice. She was hopeful for a moment until Raven seemed to get mad again. She gripped her shirt when Raven told everyone that they were going to arrest her mother. No, no, no. God no. She wanted to cry, but her body felt so disorient she felt like she couldn’t. She watched as Raven left. Now she couldn’t help, but blame herself.

She looked over at Drake slowly and lowered her head. “I don’t know who posted it... but... I was still the one to write everything. I just...” She looked up and felt a pain strike through her heart as she realized the situation. No one was truly on her side. No one will really listen. She was alone. She gripped her fists. “I’m sorry.” She quickly found herself dashing through everyone as quickly as she could, ducking and turning away from people as she successfully ran out of the Newspaper room.

Not to say the halls were better. Eyes. Eyes everywhere. She wished she could run somewhere to be protected from these prying eyes. But there was no where besides the fire. She paused as she saw the bathroom, thinking it was a good place to cry her eyes out in silence she walked inside then paused as the door shut behind her. Sawyer, Ash, and she could hear the muffled gasps of Grace.

This was her doing too.

Ash
tumblr_inline_p8ahnv35Eo1urfelz_540.gif

She glanced towards the door as Sawyer came in, and gave her a small smile that quickly faded, watching as she hopped up on the sink. Right. Ash turned her attention back towards Grace. "You know I'm not going anywhere. What else are best friends for?" Ash asked, leaning against the stall as she spoke. "You've been there for me all year through my stupid drama, and I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for you. But you and Sawyer make a cute couple." Okay, maybe not helpful.

When Grace asked if she was fine, Ash shrugged, then remembered she couldn't see it. "Everyone already knew what happened, anyway... And I told Ryan so I guess I don't have to worry about him finding out and being mad." Because he already hated her. She could still clearly remember what it was like when Ryan had looked up at her, and say he hated her. God. It had hurt, yes, but she would be alright. Right now, Grace needed her.

"No one is going to be mad at you or hate you for being gay, Grace. All of that doesn't change who you are, and we all love you for who you are. No matter what." After all, Grace wasn't her best friend for no reason.

As she finished talking, someone else came into the bathroom. Her eyes widened and Ash glanced at Sawyer, hoping that the other girl could control her anger and not punch June.

Jace
tumblr_inline_nr36hzPTGE1s6az9p_400.gif

Hearing about Neck-Tie's little brothers at least distracted Jace from everything that had happened. He leaned forward, smiling faintly as he looked at the pictures of the twins. "Adorable. Do you... miss them?" Despite the problems Ash had caused, she was still his little sister, and Jace couldn't imagine ever being so far away from her. She was his partner in crime. His true best friend. The one who would be by his side forever, and love him no matter what.

And... Jace had failed to do any of that for her. Ouch.

"You're alright, Stu. You're alright." Jace said, smiling faintly at Stu as he spoke. Now he kind of felt bad for throwing the kid out for peeing on his petunias and his slippers. "Thanks. I guess I should try to talk to her, but I just. I don't want to yet, you know? I'm just still trying to process what happened and I'm worried I might just say something that makes this whole thing worse. She's friends with Ryder. Nova is. My girlfriend is friends with a nasty player who defiled my sister."

Ouch. Those words hurt to say. Jace took the handkerchief from Stu, giving him a smile as he took it and used it to dry the tears from his face. "Wait... why would you carry around a handkerchief?" This little freshman had to be the quirkiest thing Jace had met yet.

Before anything else could happen between Grace and Ash, the one girl Sawyer didn't want to see graced them with her presence. The line of Sawyer's jaw tightened and she removed herself quickly from the sink. Her feet carried her forward on their own accord and before she knew it she was right up in June's face.

"You want to explain to me why she's in there crying or can I just get to the rough part?" Sawyer practically snarled at the red head, a hand came up to shove at her shoulder but she kept it from moving, "You better have a damn good explanation for this June. I'm not the kinda girl that tip toes around like that and you're gonna be in a whole world of hurt in about three seconds." The hand still hovering in the air curled into a fist. The anger behind Sawyer's eyes was obvious. There was no joking to be had today.

June needed to explain and fast because there was nothing Sawyer would enjoy more than knocking her into next week right now.

Grace couldn’t help but listen as Ash spoke, she was glad that she wasn’t as upset about the blog. unfortunately for Grace, Ash didn’t stay on that topic for long. Taking a shaky breath when She told her it didn’t matter that she was gay. Didn’t it though?

She moved the hair out of her face and just sat there. Unwanting to move or confront Ash, her head snapped up when she heard Sawyer’s voice. She was here too? And it sounded like she was yelling at June. Jesus, let the whole school in the bathroom, why don’t you. Despite June outing her, she didn’t want her to get hurt by Sawyer. Although she made a mental note that Sawyer was ready to hurt her non-sister for her.

Fiddling with the stall door, she opened it, wiping her tears with her sleeve. Staring at Sawyer for a long moment, before turning her attention to June. “What happened?” She asked. “I thought..” she trailed off. She wasn’t sure what she thought, what that they were sisters? That she trusted her? No. Neither of those things seemed true. “Why’d you turn on me in the matter of a day.” Grace said. “What did i do?” Her voice was breaking as she got the words out.
