Aaron Ollila

Aaron was unable to help another snort at the mention of his home’s brownielessness. “Absolutely tragic.”

He nodded when asked about what his family’s plan was. “Our mother will come pick us up when he’s done, so I have time to kill. Who knows how much- probably more than an hour.” Aaron knew his brother, and if Aaron and his mom would have been waiting less than an hour, they wouldn’t have gotten a warning, even though Casper would have gotten an earful.

Aaron nodded some more as Drake continued speaking, pausing for a split second as he mentioned a niece. He’d only mentioned one sibling- and that sibling was in play practice. It couldn’t be that sibling that had the kid, right? Well, there was only one way to find out, wasn’t there?

However, his attention was quickly snatched away from that question and towards a different one.

“Mind if I join you?” After all, Aaron had nothing better to do, and Drake had brownies. He seemed pretty alright, if a bit sharey. Certainly better than waiting outside alone as it slowly got colder sober.

Grace
tumblr_pk7nrq4nlY1uicr41o3_r2_400.gif

Grace smiled at the idea. Although shaking her head at the thought of Sawyer actually winning. She wasn't one for video games. But that doesn't mean she wasn't going to try her best to actually win. "Mmhm. We'll see who owes who ten bucks." Releasing her hold on her hand to pick up the script she had. Might as well attempt to read, right? "Maybe your dad likes me more, sure. But I doubt he loves me as much as you do." Grace teased. Oliver was a good dad. It was clear. She was almost envious how accepting he was, but of course Grace wasn't complaining. If her girlfriend's father was okay with her dating his daughter, well... that was perfectly okay.

She looked up to see Ash talking with Mads and her smile faded. "So.. I told Ash about Ryder." Grace sighed at the thought of it. She hated that she was the one who had to tell her. Why couldn't anyone just have a non-drama filled relationship? It was like it was impossible not to. "So, that made today just... sucky in general." Don't ask her why she was talking about her day, she was just venting. Leave her be. "But I actually had a really good talk with June. Though.. it wasn't really good? She was sad, but I mean... It was a good talk." That helped with today. What else could go wrong? Grace doubted today could get progressively worse.

Juliette

Juliette's day was set on fire by Ava, but that was fine. Bryan was the perfect firefighter. Smiling as he continued, a little confused at the fact he actually wanted to stay with them both in the 'girly' stores. But It made Juliette happy anyway. Shouldn't be hard to try and get a 14 year old to like her, just had to pull out the charm she'd used on everyone else. Well... the people Juliette actually could stand. "Sounds like a plan." Making a mental note to mention it to her mother, who was not going to be happy. But too bad. Juliette was set on making those plans happen. Jasmine can suck up to her father's business partners by herself, JJ didn't have to be there.

Rolling her eyes as he brought up the hobo, he was weird and that was the only way she could put it. "His name's Ethan." She shrugged, narrowing her eyes in thought before continuing. "Like he was on some... real psycho levels of weird. Worse than hm.. that theater kid Alex. Seriously." She shook her head. "I wouldn't be surprised If i saw him on one of those 'before I was a murderer' shows. Or whatever." JJ chuckled.

separate post just for Kenzie. Your welcome.

It really didn't take too long for Jace to get restless. Not to be confused with boredom, no, he hadn't been sitting long enough for that yet. Just that watching all the frantic action on and around the stage made him want to get involved. Okay maybe not get involved per say, but it made him want to do something at least. Although the girl he'd wanted to talk with was still occupied, not only by her lines but by someone else as well. It was that new boy he hadn't learned the name of yet. Probably related to Chase's presumed girlfriend somehow, considering they'd entered the auditorium together.

Maybe he ought to go over and introduce himself? He'd only ever seen the new guy in shades of good mood, so it not be a bad idea to at least learn the tall blonde's name. Not just yet though. Reaching into his blazer's pocket, Jace pulled forth his phone. Quickly he turned down the brightness so his screen wouldn't light the whole room before opening it. Twitter, of course. There was a little residue in his news feed from the fight that morning, but he hadn't come to read that. Instead he posted something, smirking slightly as he did so before tucking the small device away again. Didn't even matter if he didn't get any response, he was still amused. Though that expression faded quickly when his gaze returned to Ash again. He hadn't noticed earlier, but she did not look happy. Probably in no small part due to her having finally noticed the hag in the room. Otherwise known as her mother. Jace would give it a little extra time, see if anyone reacted to his tweet, but he wanted to get out of his seat now. The opportunities of socialization were calling, and maybe he could inject himself before the interloping parent had an opportunity to heap abuse at her daughter again.

Raven
tumblr_pmh020lLsC1qgbcj3o8_r1_400.gif

Raven rolled her eyes, c'mon it wasn't like she was trying out for Kenickie's part. And it wasn't that bad! Okay. Maybe it wasn't that great either, but that didn't mean she deserved to be insulted for it. But of course.. it was Mason. "Pineapples? What kind of drugs have you been on Rivera?" She teased. Mason didn't look like the type to do any kind of drugs, but.. looks can be deceiving. Crossing her arms for a second when he decided to continue. "Okay, okay. I get it. Let's just finish this. Yeah?" Waiting until he said his line, which... honestly was a better impression than she did. She won't admit it though. Reading off her own script. "'You do, huh? Boy, good news really travels fast!' " Nobody said Grease's lines were actually good. But Rizzo was honestly... probably Raven in another life. It was fairly simple to get into character. Glad that she got that part, and not some half-witted blonde. No, offense Sandy. Um. Ash.

Raven just simply didn't understand why Sandy changed for Danny in the end. Stupid. If she was happy with being a goody-two-shoes. Well.. she should've stuck with it. It was too bad that she decided to change herself make a man more interested in her, other than her being... well.. her. It was unfair and pissed Raven off. But almost everything pissed her off, so. Didn't matter. They went back and forth with a few lines, before Raven put a hand up to stop. It was really weird to her how easy they've slipped into their roles. The hate part of the relationship was perfect for them. However the love part kind of didn't sit right with her.

But the point was they portrayed both parts of the relationship perfectly. At least in Raven's opinion. "Well. Kenickie. I say we made a pretty good team." She grinned, and passed him the script. "I need a small break though." She carefully hopped off the stage. Narrowing her eyes at him as she walked away. "Practice. I don't want to read everything out to you." Raven grabbed another cookie and walked to her an empty seat were her bag was laid at. Taking a seat and pulling out her phone. Checking messages incase Nancy needed anything. Abuela had ran a fever last night, it was weird. And Raven didn't understand it so she was just seeing if Nancy reached out. Or.. just.. well.. Okay. Of course Raven cared about her family. She's just checking up on them.

David
tumblr_inline_o7szwb3eHd1tae3h3_400.gif

David didn't understand why she was being cynical. He had thought she was being helpful. The more she continued she was just being... David wouldn't curse out a woman. But she was being a bitch. He put the cookies back the table with a nod. He wasn't going to start a fight with a woman, but If it was a man talking to him right now, well... let's just say David would've shut him up a long time ago. David hadn't been a real parent for a long time, but he was here and trying. So showing up meant a lot to him. Now, he wasn't much for parenting methods. Nor did he know any. "High profile jobs? You work at a college." Maybe it might've been an accomplishment for her, but to David it wasn't. "I don't understand what you're trying to say."

That's a lie. David lied. He knew what she meant. She tried to say that her children were better than his. Well.. his one child. But it wasn't like he didn't think of Grace as his own by now. It wasn't like he didn't think Ash and Jace weren't great kids. Or doubted that they were good at whatever they did. He took a deep breath, he wasn't going to sit here and let this woman ridicule them. "I'll have you know my kids are very talented. That has.. nothing to do with me though. And I'm sorry if i misunderstood. But aren't you here because your attempting to be coaching a high school musical? So where is your better spent time? Because I can assure you, these kids probably wouldn't listen to you. Neither would I really. Just because you were careless enough to not bring cookies, well.. that's your own fault. Though I wouldn't hold it against you, you seem to be acting like more a child than the actual children."

He shook his head and picked up a cookie. Took a bite of it and pointed his finger at her. Which of course was the cookie held hand. "They are. And they're delicious." Maybe David shouldn't of, it wasn't the gentleman thing to do. But.. his gaze traveled over her, head to toe. "Although... maybe it was a good idea to lay off the cookies." And with that David turned around, finished his cookie and decided to help one of the kids with a prop that needed lifting.

Ash

"Well, no, but... who admits to cheating?" Ash's past boyfriend never had, and sadly, she held every other guy to the same sick standards as him. He had been a horrible person, but also the only one that had loved Ash, and sadly... he definitely was her first love. And he'd never admitted to cheating, even when Ash had photos. He'd had excuse after excuse, and now she figured Ryder was the same way. "And like, why would Grace lie to me?" Again, she was her only friend.

Of course, all of Ash's thoughts about Ryder were twisted even more so when she saw her mother. "Uh... y-yeah." She stuttered a bit, and then her stomach dropped when her mother finished talking with David, and now made her way over to Ash and Madison. Now, Ash was never in the mood to speak with her mother, but today of all day she was especially not ready for this. Not after everything that had happened.

"Ash," her mother greeted, and turned her scrutinizing gaze onto Mads, looking him up and down for a moment in blatant distaste. "Now this isn't the rude boy I met at the college. Did he already leave you and this is your rebound? Ash, dear, there's better ways to act out than bringing home a different guy every week." The tone of her voice was surprisingly calm and relaxed for what she was saying.

"This is Madison, or Mads. He's just my friend." Ash mumbled, her eyes downcast on the ground while she spoke. "Uh, we have to... go. We were just talking about something."

"Oh, please, Ashton. This is no time for wandering off with your 'friend.'" Elise scoffed, her voice filled with disgust at her daughter's words. "You're one week away from the premiere of a musical that you are the star of, and instead of practicing, here you are gallivanting around." Did no one at this school understand how plays worked? And how important these were?

Ava

He was truly a disgusting person, and Ava's now wrinkled nose and narrowed eyes portrayed exactly what she thought of what he'd said. "Please. I dress like this because I don't want guys looking. If I did, I'd dress like a slut. Like... Juliette." Okay, it was a weak response to his butch comment.

"Anyway, I don't want to help you, and you don't want my help. That's been established. But we have to put up with each other at least until your dumb ass stops failing." Ava replied, and then leaned across the table, peering at his homework. "I can just help you with that. It'll get us both out of here faster." Which was what she wanted.

Alaska

giphy.gif

Alaska was relieved to see Jamie as he pushed through the crowd to come help her. Usually, she would've immediately flirted with the extremely attractive older boy, but she was too worried about her brother to pay Jamie much attention. There was no way she could've taken care of her brother herself and he seemed to lift him up with ease, earning a moan of pain from Ryder. She wished they could just have a normal day at school, it seemed like her poor brother was getting beat up every other week at this rate. Between Ryder's injuries and the missing things from their house Alaska wanted to cry, but she held herself together as she walked on the other side of her brother and tried to support his weight without causing him more discomfort.

"You could say that." Ryder tried to joke, but trying to laugh brought a fresh wave of pain through him and Alaska almost dropped his shoulder as he jerked with the movement. "I'm not leaving him." Alaska protested, refusing to let her twin go to the hospital alone like she had last time. Granted she'd been the one to break his nose last time.

Just as they got Ryder into the car his phone went off, and before he could try to reach it and injure himself more, Alaska grabbed it out of his backpack and checked the message for him. It was from the new boy, Scarlet's boyfriend, and she figured she should let someone know where they were heading.

Taking him to the hospital. Had a bit of a rough morning. -Alaska

Next she pulled out her own phone to text Chase, though she told him that Jamie was with them and he didn't need to come check on them until after school so he wouldn't worry more than usual. Finally she sent a text to Ash just so she wouldn't worry about him, she wasn't sure how fast news traveled at school.

Taking Ryder to the hospital, I'll update you later.

"I love my horses, its nice to be around others who share it." He mumbled softly as his fingers moved the brush, the lightest touch for the man with heaviest hands. "Yeah..I hear a lot about the drama." Shiloh still had friends in high places despite shrinking back into a loner aspect, feeling like he spent most of his time watching the drama here at Westbrook unfold but it was just a soap opera for him till he left. "It's good to hear you're taking the steps to fix it, that's kinda what I had to do after all that Raven stuff.." He stopped for a moment and looked over at her then back at his painting, letting his arms fall to his side as the memory of their last conversation kept playing on rewinds through all of it.

"I really am not..." Phoenix beamed, grinning so brightly that his teeth were flashing as he snatched the Snickers bar from Rae and tore it out of the wrapping, devouring it like he was some starved child in one of those commercials. "I haven't eaten today because I had to help Mr. Jackson get ready for this rehearsal and I was enlisting all the pain in the ass art groups, that took some bitch negotiations.... Hold." He waved a hand at her and darted over to one of the assistants and they squabbled for a good minute before Phoenix ended it by threatening to choke the teenager like a bitch before Phoenix came back to Rae. "I wish I could say this was easy but I'm too serious about fashion and musicals... Plus I might be pissed they didn't take my consideration for Rent seriously, we've got so many gay couples at this fucking school but noooo it would be to 'offensive' if we did Rent... Ugh." He made a grunt of utter disgust and sneered, "Anyways... How's Mrs. Vaughn doing?" His sneer went away and he smiled sweetly, looking over at her.

June
She didn’t respond for a moment, her hands gripping the brush tighter for a moment until she softened her grip. “Hey... I’m sorry about all of that. It’s really... my fault. I was very greedy and selfish with my love.” She said shaking her head as she remembered the double date. “I knew about things and I withheld them and it hurt people. I never know when it’s a good idea to keep things a secret or not.” She mumbled. She tried to keep her blogs a secret and when she accidentally told one person it ruined others. Then when she tries to keep a secret, it ruined others. She couldn’t win sometimes. But she supposed it wasn’t about winning in the end.

“But that’s good that you’ve tried to move past it. I’m still sorry you were somehow dragged into it.”

Sawyer
tumblr_mw4jf9F1Ir1rg0lw8o1_500.gif

Grace was completely right. There was no way in hell her dad loved Grace more than she did, she decided it was physically impossible for anyone to. Sawyer sunk down in the auditorium chair and pushed her knees against the chair in front of her. Her head turned to the side as she listened to Grace tell her about her day. The whole business about telling Ash what she'd seen had to have been hard. Sawyer's brows drew together, even if she wasn't entirely convinced that the person Grace had seen was Ryder she still felt bad about the whole thing. Ash had had pretty terrible luck with the romance department up until this point and this had to suck hardcore. The mention of June had Sawyer rolling her eyes the slightest amount. Sawyer had never really liked June that much, she couldn't help it that the red head just kinda rubbed her the wrong way, but she was Grace's....Grace's something so she wouldn't say anything about it.

"I'm sorry that your day hasn't been very good." Sawyer frowned shook her head a little, "How was Ash, I don't expect she took it very well?" She was glad that Grace felt comfortable enough to just tell her these sorts of things. Sawyer was always glad to listen whenever Grace needed it, she was a pretty good listener when she wanted to be.

"How are you? Feeling any better now?" Sawyer reached up and moved some hair put of Grace's face, "I love you, you know?" She smiled and her eyes did this weird shiny thing they always did when she was looking at Grace, "A lot a lot."

Madison

Madison awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, he was all too familiar with cheating. "I mean.. My ex did.. She came clean... eventually.." He did catch her with his best friend back in North Carolina. He hadn't talked about it with anyone, when they left NC, Madison up and left, he never said another word to anyone. "And my best friend lied through his teeth about it." He didn't mean to say that Grace was lying, but he didn't even have time to talk and try to tell Ash that not everything was always what it seemed as Ash's mom approached them.

Madison was shocked at the way that Elise was talking to her daughter in such a way. "Hey!" He furrowed his eyebrows and held out his hand stepping to the side in between Elise and Ash, which probably didn't make it look any better for her. "Ma'am there is no reason for you to speak to your daughter like that." Madison grew up with a great mom, and he couldn't ever picture either of his parents ever talking to him or Rae like that.

"And she's right, we've got to go." He said rather sternly, Madison could see why Ash needed someone like Ryder, after having a mother like that, everyone would want to feel like someone had their back. He wasn't very good at the being the bad guy, but he wasn't going to let his friend be treated like shit. As he started to leave the auditorium his phone buzzed. He stopped pulling his phone out of his pocket to see a text from Alaska from Ryder's number. "Oh shit." His eyes were wide starring at his phone.

Zach was beaming, maybe he could even get Ava completely off topic from studying. "Okay, but if I remember JJ pretty much only wears her cheer uniform, and that's far from slutty." He chuckled. "I'm not sure you even know the actual definition of slutty." He pulled his papers further away from her sight. "No touchy touchy." He shook his head smiling, looking back over at Ava. "I told you I got this. You don't want to be here, you need to stay"

She blushed such a bright red that she matched her sweater and the color of Phoenix's hair at the mention of Chase. He hadn't even mentioned Chase, Kerry just mentioned his last name, with Mrs in front of it, which was probably way worse. She looked at the ground biting her lower lip trying to hold back her giant smile. Looking back up at Phoenix she tucked her hair behind her ear. "I'm good, and Chase is alright. But I wouldn't go as far as that." Rae pulled at her fingers again. "He wants to take me out again this weekend... See a movie.." She was already day dreaming about seeing him again outside of school, outside of large party, just the two of them. But Chase had a lot going on right now so she didn't really know what to expect from him. "What about you, I can see all the costume planning is going dreadfully well." She said sarcastically rolling her eyes.

Any hope of salvaging their friendship was crushed right then and there when Stu didn't even give Jace the respect of looking up at him, or even a full head shake. How dare he. Jace wanted to flip the keyboard in his face but there were two things wrong with that: One, Jace wasn't a violent, flipping things kind of person. And two, he wasn't actually positive that he could do that. He was tall, but small. Hell, he wasn't even tall. Jace was just a very weak small boy.

"Listen here, Stuart." He said, slamming his hands down on the edges of the keyboard as well as he could with his bulky guitar in his way. "I don't care what happened between us and if you hate me because my mom is a bitch but you're too dumb to see it." His voice was now harsh, harsher than Jace had ever though possible.

"You will play for me so that I can see how much you suck and know how much I have to cover up for you so that this musical sounds at least halfway decent." Jace now removed his hands from the keyboard, taking a step back and replacing his hands on his guitar. His eyes were still narrowed at Stu and although he felt bad about what he had said, well... Jace was mad. He was stressed out, and he just wanted this all to be perfect, and for life to go back to normal.

Drake

"Oh my god, hell yes you can join." He replied, eyes lighting up at the idea of hanging out with a friend after school. Yes, Drake was social and had plenty of so-called "friends," but he didn't really hangout with them outside of school. They were more superficial than anything. The only friend that he considered a true friend, and who hung out with him all the time, was Alaska. But, well, she seemed to always be busy helping Ryder with his injuries these days.

Or, well, making out with someone. First Mason, and then Carter. Oh yeah. Adriane had told Drake all about it when she was bitching about the entire experience, while Drake had sprawled out on her bed and eaten candy that he'd stolen from Ariana. His niece couldn't eat a lot, so Drake liked to think of it as him just helping her out.

"So what do you want to do? Like I was just going to go in places and pretend to shoplift and offend pretentious old ladies named Karen and Sheryl, but like, I'm up for anything." After all, Drake's idea probably didn't appeal to a lot of other people, and he was open for anything. Drake just wanted to have fun.

Adriane
ADRIANE.jpg

She glanced up from her phone and watched as Raven made her way from Mason. Perfect. Adriane's eyes stayed on Mason for a moment as he watched Raven walk away, and then sat down in a corner of the stage, reading over the script. Since when had he ever cared this much about a stupid musical? Or anything?

Adriane shook away that thought as she stood up and made her way over to Raven, where she was eating another cookie and on her phone. "Hello. Raven, right?" She asked as she sat down in the seat next to her, still trying to keep some kind of friendliness in her manner. After all, she knew that Raven could be a bit much, and Adriane was not wanting to repeat what had happened at the Halloween party. At the very thought of it, she was reminded of the pain in her nose. Stupid Carter... and then Mason had run off to spend the entire day with her, as if she hadn't beaten Adriane bloody.

"So I see you're playing Mason's co-star, and... look, I just wanted to make something very clear." She kept that huge, fake smile on her face as she looked at Raven. "He is mine. So let's keep the kissing quick and only on stage, okay? Maybe even not on the lips. No practicing it, either, okay? Because like, that's totally not cool."

Ash
Pretty.gif

"See?!" Ash probably took it in the completely opposite direction that Mads had intended. "She lied, and he lied. But I know Grace wouldn't lie to me or be cheating with him, because she's gay. Only difference." Having a gay best friend was kind of nice, actually. Anyway, that was beside the point and yes, her heart hurt a little bit for Madison when he talked about it, and a sad smile had crossed her lips before her mother had come up. And made everything worse.

She was, well, really surprised when Madison stood up for her. But it was enough for Ash to kind of regain from looking like a deer caught in the headlights in front of her mother. "We... the musical... it'll be fine..." she mumbled and yes, that was the best kind of retort that she could do, her eyebrows furrowed as she spoke before Mads reminded her that they had to leave. "Jace is on stage with Stu. I bet they both really need your help." She offered.

And then, with a very annoyed Elise glaring after them, Ash followed Madison away from her mother. "Uh... I'm sorry... about the cheating thing... it sucks, and like... you're amazing. You of all people don't deserve to be cheated on." Now Ash, well, she felt like she did deserve it. But Madison was a completely different story. The dude was the nicest thing to ever grace this planet. How could someone be stupid enough to cheat on him? At least now he had Scar.

She was about to ask about what text he'd received, when Ash's phone buzzed. Ash pulled her phone out of her pocket, opening it up to see a text from Alaska, and everything didn't feel... well, it didn't feel real. What the hell was going on? "Wait... he... I thought..." Ash had only heard tidbits today, but nothing about going to the hospital. And from the tone of Alaska's text, it was serious. Very serious. "I thought he just broke his nose again or something. Do you... what happened?"

Even if Ash wasn't with Ryder now, well, obviously Alaska hadn't heard. And any confusing, angry feelings that she might have felt towards him kind of disappeared. Ash still lov-- sorry, strongly liked him, and now she felt like an even bigger bitch for not going to see him. Hell, she hadn't even known he was in the hospital.

"Cheer uniforms? Not slutty?" Ava scoffed. Okay, this was a topic that she felt strongly about. "Alright now listen up here, Zachary. As a female in this school, I am not allowed to wear skirts or shorts that are above like my mid-thigh. Those bitches on the cheer team only wear skirts that are above their mid-thigh. Fuck if Jules leaned over, I'd probably see her-- ... well, you get the point." Okay, okay, so Ava hadn't actually tested this theory, and then she realized what kind of horrible tangent she was going on, and took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of her nose and closing her eyes for a moment.

"Oh no, no, no." She dropped her hand away from her nose, shaking her head at the very idea of leaving. "Very cute. Very good try, Zach. But I am not leaving this seat until your homework is done and I can look at it. I will not let my college career go down in flames because you're a stubborn ass. So just... slide those papers towards me so we can get this shit done." She suggested, trying to be kind of polite so that they could get this whole thing rolling.

Madison stopped swung his arms along his side. "Ash that wasn't my point, she did tell me. Someone who genuinely cares about you, even if its the smallest bit. They can't keep that sort of thing from you." He sighed. He usually had a good feeling about it things like this. "You know I even knew it was happening, at least I had a feeling.. And I know you trust Grace, but there is always another side to things. You should hear him out."

When both of their phones went off, it must of meant it was something serious. "It has to be serious.. Alaska wouldn't be texting me from Ryder's phone otherwise..." He looked around. "I'm going to go meet up with them.." He looked around for Rae, he was going to need her car to get to the hospital. "Do you want to come?" Madison could see the concern on Ash's face, obviously she cared about Ryder, even if she did believe he cheated on her.

"Oh Mary, they aren't that bad." Zach smirked, looking down at his paper and back at Ava "And if it's short skirts you want to wear, all you gotta do is join the team." Zach winked at her, "I'm sure your ass would look great in it." He probably had a death wish, but who wouldn't when having to spend an afternoon with Ava.

He finished scribbling his notes and shoved it across the table at Ava, leaning back in the chair he put his hands behind his head rocking backwards in the way that a kid might. "I'm telling you Mary, I got this." Reaching into his backpack he pulled out a pack of gum, offering it to Ava. "Would you like some? Always keep it on handy just in case." He smirked unwrapping a piece and placing it in is mouth raising his eyebrows not taking his eyes off of Ava.

Raven

Raven finished the small cookie and frowned at her phone, she didn't get any messages. Everything was fine, but... that didn't mean she didn't want to be updated. Sending a quick one handed text to Nancy. 'How's Abuela?' She stared at her phone for a few moments. Distracting herself with twitter and sending a quick reply to Jace. Cupcake Jace obviously, she doubted the beanie boy was even interested in social media. Did he even have one? Hm. Raven looked up to see only someone she'd known of, but never actually talked to. Well.. until now obviously. Narrowing her eyes at her as she took a seat. "...That's me." Confirming her name, and stared at her with interest. Attention wasn't something Raven would turn away, but she didn't want it from Adriane. Doubting that she wanted to be friends. So what did she want?

Sighing and trying, trying so hard to not roll her eyes. Of course it was jealousy. Raven and Jealousy knew each-other fairly well. But c'mon. It was just a play. If Raven wasn't dying about kissing Mason why was she? God, why did all the redheads want him? Eying her smile. Oh please, cut the shit. She could sense the fakeness from a mile away, Everyone knew that by now. However, Raven wasn't one to pretend she actually liked someone. If Adriane wanted to dislike her, at least be open about it. Her smile pissed her off to say the least. "Okay." giving her a small nod. "My turn." Maybe she shouldn't be as bitchy... but do you think she cares? "Let me make something very clear." She started off. "If I wanted your man, I'd have him." And Mason? No thanks. Turning towards her and matching her fake smile with her own. "So. It's safe to say he's yours." Tilting her head slightly in her direction as if to make a point of it.

Grace

Grace shrugged. Her day wasn't good but that was okay. It'll work out... sighing when Sawyer asked how she took it. "No, not good. I hate that she tried to pretend it was okay, and It just.." She shook her head and ended it there. Not wanting to talk about her best friend's heartbreak she witnessed. Looking towards her as she brushed her hair away, sure... maybe the day was bad. "Much better with you." Sawyer made up for most of it though. Smiling genuinely, glad to hear that she loved her, because well.. if Sawyer didn't that would probably make this relationship very awkward. "I know." Leaning over to kiss her softly. "I love you a lot, a lot, too. Grace grabbed Sawyer's arm and put it around her own shoulder. Getting an alert on her phone, furrowing her brows when she was tagged in a photo. And almost facepalmed.

Chad had tagged her in a photo he took with some friends, and Grace and Sawyer were too busy kissing in the background too busy to notice. "Great." She shook her head, but froze when she saw what Chad was wearing. "Oh my god." He was wearing the same devil costume Ryder had, she couldn't of gotten it mixed up... right? She wiped quickly through the rest of Chad's photos and saw him with a brunette... who looked exactly like the girl she saw that night with... Ryder Nope. Chad... apparently. How could she be so stupid? She was just drunk, and dumb. And... this is exactly why she shouldn't drink anymore! Nothing good comes out of it. "If you'll excuse me, I have to go tell Ash that was I was wrong. Of course I was." Removing Sawyer's arm of her shoulder, and headed towards the blonde.

She hesitated, seeing Mads with her, tapping her softly on the shoulder. "Uh.. can we talk for a minute?" Grace didn't wait for a response, grabbing her hand and leading her only a little ways from Mads, It wasn't like he needed to know... and maybe Ash would appreciate the privacy to yell at her in private. Pulling up her phone to show her. "I was wrong. I'm sorry. Ryder didn't cheat! They just... had the same costume." Taking a breath before she continued. "And I was too drunk to realize It wasn't him." At least Ryder didn't cheat though! That was good... right?

Aaron’s head raced at the idea of joining in. A small, dark part of his mind saw the way Drake’s eyes lit up, and thought about just how starving for friendship this kid must be- wondered what he’d be willing to do to keep it. He pushed that away for now, though more focused on other prospects- like brownies, weed, a possible new avenue to get away from home, maybe someone tolerable to hang out at parties with… Maybe, just maybe, Aaron had been feeling lonely and not just been alone, and this was an opportunity for a friend.

The idea of someone that made sneaking out worth it made Aaron think less than usual.

“Why pretend to shoplift?” he asked, face still blank. After a second, he realized that had probably been a mistake to say- just because he was willing to smoke weed and pretend to shoplift didn’t mean he’d actually shoplift- but if anything, his expression went blanker. But this was how Aaron’s face always looked, and Aaron barely knew Drake.

Ava
Saying Comfort Zone.gif

For once in her life, Ava was left speechless at Zach's words. Her face had turned bright red, and now she just slouched down in her chair, crossing her arms over her chest and trying to think of some kind of sassy response, but nothing really came to her mind. All she wanted to do was climb under a blanket or something and never be seen again. "Do you get some kind of weird thrill out of making girls uncomfortable?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at him as the blush faded from her cheeks.

When he finished, Ava snatched the papers up and held them in front of her face so that it was some kind of shield from Zach. God. This was just supposed to be a simple tutoring session, but instead Ava had done zero tutoring and instead just felt mega flustered. She peeked around the papers when he held out the gum, and then held out her hand. "Gum me." Ava ordered, and looked back towards the papers. "If you know what you're doing, why the hell are you failing?" So far from what she'd seen, Zach was surprisingly, disappointingly spot on. At least that meant less tutoring for her.

Ash
Lil Sad Blonde.gif

She had been quietly debating on whether or not she should go with Madison to go see Ryder, when Grace came up asking to speak. "Wait for me. This will just be a minute." She told Madison, and slipped her phone into her pocket before following after Grace. Ash crossed her arms over her chest, head tilted to the side while she waited for Grace to tell what was oh-so important. And at least it gave her a few minutes to think over whether or not to go with Madison.

And then Grace said something that completely shattered Ash's day. As if everything couldn't get worse... Ryder hadn't been lying, and... "I broke up with him over what you said!" Ash yelled, her voice easily loud enough for Madison and anyone else nearby to hear. But right now, she didn't care. With how news traveled, people would have heard about it, anyway. Ash groaned, covering her face up with her hands, and tried to keep herself from screaming or crying or whatever it was that she wanted to do. God. When did her life get so complicated and difficult? What had she done to deserve all this?

Finally, Ash took in a deep breath and looked away from Grace over to Madison. "Alright so you were right. Grace was wrong. And I will... I will definitely be coming with you to see how Ryder is..." she looked back to Grace, hurt written across her face, while she tried to keep herself from crying. Ash couldn't handle a lot of stress and would easily cry over little things, so all of this was definitely becoming too much, but she was trying to hold herself together.

"I'm skipping practice today. Going to go check on my now ex-boyfriend who didn't actually cheat and see what the hell happened this morning that ended him up in the hospital." Her voice wavered as she spoke.

Adriane
ADRIANE.jpg

In another world, Adriane had a feeling that her and Raven could have been friends. In a lot of ways, the dark-haired girl reminded Adriane of herself. And that was a problem, because there was no way that she would trust Mason around a girl like herself. Girls like her got what they wanted, and even got what they didn't want if it would piss someone they didn't like off. And with how this conversation was going so far, there was no way that Raven liked her, and Adriane happily returned the sentiment. Raven was a bitch. And a bitch who thought that she was better than Adriane, which was just adorable. Of course Mason would always come back to her, but that didn't mean she wanted girls crawling all over him, or even kissing him in a musical. Plus, what would Ariana think when she came to see the musical? Obviously the little girl wouldn't understand, and that was obviously her biggest worry.

"Oh, honey, it's so cute that you think you're better than me." Adriane said with a sweet little laugh. Hey, even if she was faking it, it didn't mean that her laughs and her tone didn't sound sincere. However, as she continued speaking, the fake sweetness fell away and was replaced by narrowed eyes and a full glare. "Now if you know what's good for your pretty little self, you'll stay away from other people's guys and mind your own damn business. Are we clear?" And as she spoke, she then replaced that little smile on her face. "After all, wouldn't want to upset anyone by kissing Mason, would we? If I understand, there's a certain girl here that is still just hung up on him, and I bet it would just kill her to see you kissing on him."

Drake
Adam Apple Thang.gif

He stopped mid-step, brownie halfway on its way to his mouth when Aaron suggested actual shoplifting. Yes, Drake had had a history of shoplifting back in the day. It had pretty much ended when he'd overdosed and Mason had thrown down very strict rules about what was and wasn't allowed. The way Mason had painted it, they needed to lay low and not get into any trouble until they could move out and blah, blah, blah. Boring adult stuff about not getting put back into foster care.

Although now that he was older, well... he knew that foster care probably wouldn't pull him no matter what he did at this age. Which meant that shoplifting could be a very well thing back on the table. Drake did miss the thrill of stealing things, and actually have money and nice items. God, he'd been scrounging by on barely anything because of Mason's stupid "good boys" approach to life. It didn't work where they lived. Shoplifting was the only way to get forward.

"I'm a little rusty because like, it's been a while since I've shoplifted." Okay, so it had been like six months. "But I was good. I could steal things off of people without them even blinking an eye." Yes, Mason and Drake had had a great approach to the world. As young kids, Mason and Drake would take turns crying, or asking for help, or saying that they were lost. While some wealthy, good-meaning adult was busy helping out the crying kid, the other one would steal their wallet, check it for any cash, and usually slip it back into place without the person noticing. Ah. Those had been the days. Drake missed their brother time.

"So Aaron, you're on. Where do you wanna go?"

Drake stopped, and Aaron took another bite of brownie as his heart… well, it didn’t drop. Sure, he was excited, but he had learned to expect disappointment, hadn’t he? People lied, plans changed- Wait, what was Drake saying?

It sounded kinda like Drake wanted to shoplift- not only that, Drake had shoplifted before.

Could you really blame Aaron for grinning? This was definitely going to be the highlight of the day, and Aaron- Aaron had no idea where he wanted to go. So he shrugged.

“I know it was my idea, but I didn’t really have any more to it… There’s probably somewhere easy enough near here, right?” To be honest, Aaron didn’t really plan his stealing out most of the time- He’d looked up how out of curiosity, and a couple months later an opportunity had arose.

He’d gotten good at it over the years, though, even if he didn’t need to be. He didn’t care much beyond the fact that it was nice to have something to be good at.

tumblr_pk7nrq4nlY1uicr41o3_r2_400.gif

Grace averted her gaze from Ash, wincing when she yelled. She messed up, she knew that. Grace shouldn't have told her in the first place, but If she was in her shoes, she'd like to think Ash would've told her whether she was sure or not. "Ash.." She couldn't finish the rest of the sentence, watching her hurt, and knowing that she was the cause of it. Grace wanted to say she was sorry. Of course she was sorry, she didn't want her to be hurt It was the complete opposite of that. Watching the interaction between her and Mads, telling him how she was wrong. Why couldn't Grace just shut her mouth until she found out. Maybe she should've talked to Ryder first? Stupid. God, she was so stupid. Grace hesitantly made eye-contact with her again once she spoke. He was in the hospital? "What?" She looked back towards Mads as if he'd provide an answer. "Is he okay? Are you okay?" She asked worry filling her features.

"Do you want me to come with you?" The play was the last thing on Grace's mind, at the moment. If Ash needed her, she'd drop everything in a second. Especially now... considering she'd caused so much harm already.

Raven rolled her eyes at the redhead's comment. It wasn't cute. "Okay, Mommy Dearest. Let's get one thing straight. I am better than you." Fighting with Mason's girlfriend? or whatever the hell they were.. definitely not something she intended to do today. But she should be put in her place. And Raven wasn't one to shy away from doing so. Smiling when she finally dropped her facade of sweetness. Raven opened her mouth to reply with something way worse, but she got an idea and just gave her a nod instead. "Crystal." It was almost disgusting how protective she was when she was a total whore, and she wasn't even a closet whore! However her smile momentarily faded when she brought up another redhead. "Oh, no. You're totally right. I wouldn't dare to ever mess up anyone's relationships, or meddle in business that isn't mine." Raven stood up from her seat, winking at the redhead. "It just isn't my thing." Mason could say whatever he wanted, Raven was an excellent actor.

Stepping up the theater stage, taking her spot in the middle of it before beckoning Mason over to her. "I think It's about time to practice that kissing scene. What do you say, Rivera?" June will be fine. It was about time she got over Mason anyway. Plus... Raven wasn't thinking with her head right now, the only thing she had her mind on was pissing a certain redhead off. And for the first time, It was a different redhead she wanted attention from. In-case you needed a hint It wasn't the good kind of attention. Raven had a mission set. Oh boy, was she ready to complete it.

No, she absolutely was not okay. Ash hadn't been okay in a very long time. It constantly felt like she was being built up, just to be broken down once again and right now. Well, right now she was angry mostly at herself, upset about whatever had happened, and worried about why he was in the hospital and what had happened to make it so serious. Sure, Ash could piece a few things together, and she had a feeling that Ryan knew all about what had happened. Later, she was going to have to find him and figure out what the hell was going on. Damn it. Why couldn't people just leave Ryder intact for once?

"No. No I'm not okay, and I have no idea what's going on with Ryder or if he's okay." Alright, alright, deep breaths, gotta stay calm. Right now was not the time for any kind of breakdown, although Ash was very much on the verge of breaking down at this point. "And no, just stay here. I'll be fine, and... you've done enough."

With that, Ash turned away from Grace to look at Madison. "Ready?"

Madison took a moment to think... 'Right about- oh oh right....' he was distracted by Ryder being in the hospital. He didn't want to be right necessarily, Ash had broken up with Ryder, just found out Ryder was in the hospital, and now it turned out that Grace hadn't seen Ryder cheating, he could only imagine how Ash felt. "I'm getting the keys." Madison ran off behind stage to find his sister, she'd let him borrow the car, it was an emergency after all, right?

Thankfully Rae was understanding, and Madison was now sprinting out of the auditorium, grabbing Ash by the wrist as he dragged her out to the car. "The play can wait." He waited for Ash to get into the passenger side of the car. "Uh... What part of town is the hospital." Madison hadn't lived in town long enough, and Alaska didn't specify where they were. He had been so caught up in getting to the hospital he hadn't thought that through.

"Just you sunshine." Zach smirked, raising an eyebrow at Ava, she didn't get flustered easily which just made it all so much more fun. He was enjoying staying off topic as long as possible. It was way more fun than studying, and watching Ava blush was new, he didn't think this girl could be speechless. Ava aggressive pulled the papers away, yep he definitely struck a nerve. He placed a piece of gum in her out stretched hand.

"Everything is repetitive, teachers teach the same thing daily." He shrugged his shoulders. He wasn't failing from a lack of knowledge, he was failing from a lack of trying. He didn't show up to classes most of the time, he never handed in homework, and tests he usually missed because he wasn't ever in class. In the past he had made sure to get everything he had missed and they teachers were lenient on him because he was on every single team, but he had taken advantage of it and now Nona was on his case.

"I guess I'm kinda bad with math?" Zach pulled out his math homework, and shoved it across the table towards Ava. Most of it was already filled out however. He just hadn't had time to finish it yet.

Grace
tumblr_pk7nrq4nlY1uicr41o3_r2_400.gif

She wasn’t okay, how could she be? Her boyfriend’s in the hospital, and she broke up with him for no reason whatsoever because of Grace. “I’m sure he’s okay..” trying to reassure her but she doubted it would work. Grace was more than okay with leaving with her, it was more important than a play. But when Ash had told her not to, it only made her gulit worse, Grace couldn’t help but feel a sting of hurt. She wouldn’t be surprised if she was showing it on her face. What was she doing? Grace was making it about herself when it obviously wasn’t. Ash had bigger problems to worry about, and if she didn’t want Grace there... that was fine. It’s okay, it makes sense, she ruined her relationship already.

It was just the hurt on her face that made Grace feel even worse. She couldn’t help it if she teared up, Grace cried at everything, it wasn’t her fault! It just... happens. “I’m sorry.” At least it’s what she tried to say, but it ended up coming out mumbled instead of anything else while Ash was turned away from her, and they both stood in silence until Mads had come to drag her off. Taking a breath and glancing around, only now realizing people were staring. “Go... do whatever you’re supposed to be doing.” Maybe as the director she should give orders, but Grace wasn’t in the mood to.

She wanted to be away from the staring eyes. This was the downside to being ‘popular.’ people. People were the downside to being popular. Where could she run off to in the auditorium? It took her a few moments of walking around until she settled on the costume closet, sitting near the floor and pulling out her phone to see the other posts that Chad put up, hopefully she wasn’t tagged in the others.

Sawyer
CarefulDisgustingEarthworm-small.gif
One second everything was completely fine but like always in this damn town nothing was ever fine for long. Before Sawyer could process what was happening, Grace had looked at some picture of who she assumed was Chad and was suddenly gone. It took Sawyer a few seconds to piece two and two together and realize that the picture she'd opened had been Chad. Chad in a devil costume. Sawyer was on her feet the second her brain finally decided it wanted to work. She'd known there was a chance that the person Grace had seen wasn't Ryder and that was now coming back to bite her. Ryder wasn't the kind of guy that did that, even if rumors may think so.

Sawyer didn't intrude as Grace talked with Ash, but simply lingered in the background trying to not get in the way. She hated this goddamn place so fucking much. Every time something seemed to be going well it was like fate just decided to screw them over. Every. Damn. Time. There was no rest for the wicked. Sawyer frowned as everything Ash said seemed to just kick Grace farther down. Sawyer couldn't blame Ash for being a bit angry, she probably would be too, but this was her girlfriend she was talking about and she couldnt help getting a little frustrated with her. When Ash and Mads finally turned away and Grace was left by herself, Sawyer started walking forward but was stopped short when Grace told everyone to do what they were supposed to be doing and was gone again. Sawyer gave the back of Ash's head a not so nice glare and took off after Grace.

They really needed to stop with the closets.

"Babe? Am I allowed to come in?" Sawyer poked her head into the door and offered a small grin, trying to lighten the mood if only a little.

Ethan, huh? Bryan found himself curious about this guy who'd decided he was cool enough to talk to his girlfriend. JJ calling him psycho levels of weird had him a bit worried, but JJ could handle herself fairly well and he doubted this guy was that psycho. He did wonder where he'd come from. Bryan had never seen this Ethan guy before so that was kind of weird, but it wasn't anything he should be too worried about at the moment. All he needed on his mind right now was shopping and probably what he was going to wear to said shopping trip. Bryan probably really needed to do laundry. Their maid had been out sick and he'd been doing his own, but he wasn't the best at keeping up with it.

"Okay, just be careful around him then." Bryan placed a kiss on the side of JJ's head and removed his arm from her shoulder, "I will come by and pick you up in like an hour, I gotta freshen up a little." He pushed still wet hair out of his eyes and smiled at JJ as he started to walk away.

"See ya in a little, babe!" And with that he had split off from his girlfriend and was taking a turn down the hall to exit to the part of the parking lot his car was in.

Alaska

VioletDifferentBorderterrier-size_restricted.gif

Alaska had already felt plenty bad for Ryder, but once they'd arrived at the hospital and they'd examined him she realized just how bad the extent of his injuries were. Luckily only one of his ribs was cracked, but he was bruised all over and was going to need plenty of rest. As if that wasn't enough, once the nurses had finally left him alone to rest he'd confided that Ash had broken up with him over a rumor that wasn't even true. While her brother had a sketchy past with girls, Ash was the one girl she could tell he really cared about and she couldn't imagine him doing anything to hurt her.

And because the universe really loved to mess with them, Ash had apparently decided to come visit. Technically it was Alaska's fault for texting her in the first place, but she hadn't known they'd broken up at the time. She knew Ryder could handle himself, but he was hurt in more ways than one and she wasn't too fond of Ash's impulse decisions at the moment.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, standing up from her chair to stop Ash from coming all the way into the room.

Ryder

IMG_9488.GIF

Today sucked. It was also the day their mother was coming home from her business trip, which meant they'd have to explain the missing things from their house and his hospital bill. He really wasn't looking forward to that conversation.

He was unsure how to feel when Ash walked in, part of him was excited yet a pit of dread filled his stomach. This morning hadn't exactly ended on great terms, but she was here and that meant something. Before he could speak his sister was already up on her feet ready to kick Ash out.

"Aly, it's okay let her in." Ryder sighed, figuring he'd have to talk to Ash eventually and maybe doing it while on pain meds would make it easier. Alaska continued to glare at the blonde but moved so that Ash could come in, recognizing Scarlet's boyfriend and going to stand beside him awkwardly.

"So...you like Westbrook so far?" She joked, knowing that both Mads and Scarlet's first impression of Westbrook must've been quite violent.

Ryder coughed awkwardly as he and Ash were left alone, unsure of what to say. He had a lot of things he wanted to say about the whole ordeal but he didn't want to say anything rashly. Clearly Ash still cared about him if she thought he cheated on her and was still willing to come see him.

"Thanks for coming..." He said, offering her a weak smile.

Neck Tie

Neck Tie got a real fright when Jace slammed his hands on the keyboard. BAM! He nearly gasped. His eyes flew up right away to meet the towering figure in front of him, before slowly they drifted away again, wishing that he hadn’t seen him at all.

He just wasn't expecting the senior to speak to him that way, as if they’d never been friends before. It just caught him completely off guard. Now he was feeling sick and queasy and short of breath, because he no longer had the heart to be there on stage with the older boy. He just wanted to go home.

Jace said a lot of things. . . A lot of mean things that the younger boy just absorbed like a sponge. He was too tired to argue. So when Jace was finished, Neck Tie sighed to himself and quietly went about what was asked of him. He brought his hands over to the keyboard. He remembered to sit up straight, to curve his hands properly, just as Jace had taught him, before making contact with the keys. It didn’t help much. When you suck at the piano you suck at the piano. He played the first chord reluctantly. Only the first wrong chord of many.

♪ ♫

To Neck Tie’s credit, he did get in the flow of it in the middle of the song, but only to have all his good work undone in the final section. He had been struggling with that passage a lot, and the lack of practice over the past week didn’t help. Anyway, it could’ve been a lot worse. A lot worse. When he was done playing, he quietly withdrew his hands to his lap and lowered his head, and there he started picking at his nails. Now was Jace happy? Like he said, he just wanted to go home. He didn't even like playing the piano anymore. He hated it as a little kid and he hated it even more now as a slightly bigger little kid. Music sucks.

Adriane was sure that Raven had something up her sleeve -- girls like that always did, but she still kicked back in her seat, pulling her phone back out to keep herself distracted until this stupid musical practice was over with. Her eyes kept darting from her phone up to the stage, keeping an eye on the interactions between Mason and Raven. Just in case that girl overstepped the line, and Mason allowed her to. Although, Mason was fairly good about not cheating, and not hurting her feelings. So surely, he wouldn't push the envelope and kiss Raven, or do anything else here in practice that would upset her.

Mason's eyes moved up from the script to see Raven beckoning for them to get back to practice. Well, that was a quick break. He pushed himself up from the ground, script in hand and ran over to catch up with Raven before falling into step beside her. When she suggested practicing a kissing scene, Mason couldn't help but look at her in slight surprise.

"Oh I see. June and Alaska told you what a good kisser I am, and now you can't wait to put that to the test. Am I right?" Mason asked with a sly grin. Of course that wasn't the reason, but that didn't mean he couldn't totally tease Raven about it. His eyes did shift to Adriane for a moment but, well, it was for a musical. She wouldn't be upset about this, right? And they weren't even technically together so it wasn't like she even had anything to be upset about.

"Yes, okay. I know a few good places that Mason and I use to steal from all the time. They did have us banned after they caught us, but we were kids so I doubt they remember us. And I still remember all the blind spots to steal from." Ahh, the good old days. Kids these days just didn't understand the difficulty of having to work for your meals like Mason and Drake had growing up. Stealing had become a practically every day thing. If they weren't stealing food, they were dumpster diving at some of the higher class restaurants in the city. And Drake hated eating dumpster takeout, but it had been a meal.

Drake took his backpack off, shoving the last bit of brownie into his mouth and then putting his now almost empty bag of brownies into his backpack before throwing it back on. "Just follow me and we'll have a great time." He promised Aaron, leading the way through the city streets until they got into the more touristy part of Westbrook. Where the smaller, more expensive things were sold, but people still didn't guard their items well. Ah, the things he'd pawned.

He pushed open the door into a little knick knack shop and although the shopkeeper looked at Drake with a little bit of suspicion, he smiled and greeted them before heading off to do something in the store. Drake stepped in, waiting until the shopkeeper was out of earshot, before he looked at the bulletin board near the door, and pointed to a photo of two little black-haired boys -- one grinning, the other angry. "There I am," he whispered to Aaron, pointing to the smiling ten-year-old.

For the most part, he was fairly spot on. "You're just lazy, aren't you?"

And then, Ava's eyes fell on an Algebra problem. 5x - 6 = 3x - 8. "Okay, so right here you've got it wrong. x should equal 7, not -1." She said. Jace

He sounded horrible, but before Jace could make it very clear to Stu that he was absolutely terrible and that this would not fly, another voice distracted him. A familiar voice that instantly set Jace's panic and stress to an all-time high. His mother. Why was she even here? He looked over at her, trying to meet her gaze, but ultimately his eyes fell to the ground.

"How are my boys getting along?" Elise asked. So far, this entire adventure here had been a disaster. David had been rude to her, and then Ash had left with some other stupid boy and shirked her responsibilities (as usual), and now from what she had heard, Stu had possibly gotten worse on the keyboard than he had been when she had first met him. This musical was definitely going to be a disaster -- it was a sinking ship, and not even Elise could save it.

"Well we would be if Stu would actually practice, and talk to me." Jace shot another dirty look at Stu, before looking back towards her mother, who definitely didn't look pleased.

"Stu sounded fine to me." She replied, rather crossly. "Why don't you play for me?"

Jace hesitated, not wanting to play the guitar in front of his mother, and also in shock that she had thought Stu sounded fine. Even someone who was deaf would've known that Stu sounded horrible. However, hesitantly, he started playing the same song that Stu had. And instead of missing a ton of chords like Stu, he was fairly spot on. He missed just a couple, and even those were almost impossible to discern unless someone lived for music... like his mother.

"You missed a few. It looks like you're the one who needs to be practicing, Jace." Elise pointed out. "And I think you need to apologize for being so rude to Stu." She said, and then turned her attention to the young boy. "Are you alright?"

She winced when Alaska approached her. "I just want to apologize and check on him." Ash said quietly, her voice barely more than a whisper when she heard Ryder telling Alaska to let her in. Well, at least he still kind of cared for her. Or wanted to yell at her. After all, the first time that Ash had visited someone in the hospital, she had been yelled at, albeit for very good reason. That memory was still fresh in her mind, and she had to push the memory away.

"I would've come earlier, but I honestly had no idea what happened. I just got Alaska's text, and then we..." Ash trailed off, shaking her head as she walked over, and came to a stop next to his bed. God, he really did look like shit. "I just thought you broke your nose again or something. Everyone just told me that Ryan punched you or something but this... what the hell happened?" If it was Ryan that had done it, then Ash definitely had something to say to him tomorrow.

"And, sorry... about breaking up with you." This was the hard part, and Ash couldn't even look at him as she said it. Instead, her eyes were focused on her hands that were clasped together, her thumbs tapping against each other nervously. "Grace just told me before we came that she had mistaken you for someone else, and... I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions."

Grace

Every picture she kept swiping through, it just made it ten times worse, Grace should’ve just... done everything differently. She shook her head upset with herself. Looked up from her phone when she noticed Sawyer. She scooted over incase she decided to sit down next to her. “Yes, you’re allowed.” Grace managed a weak smile. This was stupid. She was being stupid. Ash is just upset right now, so why was she hurt? Because it's your fault. Okay, thinking wasn't helping anyone right now. Grace waved her phone at Sawyer, "We're famous." Maybe today has been the worst of all days, seriously. She can't remember she had a day this bad.

Besides coming out to her mom, but that was different. Grace couldn't stand because her own PDA was on social media, she broke up her best friend's relationship. Got covered with foam, and now has to attempt to direct a school play that she's in, one where has to kiss her girlfriend in front of her homophobic mother. Today was terrible. And it felt like the more she tried to be optimistic the worse it got. There's still plenty of hours for today to go even worse. There we go. That's the negative thinking she was going for. She's a terrible person, she thought to herself. and nodded in agreement with her own thoughts. She was a terrible daughter, friend, and girlfriend.

That wasn't her trying to focus on negative thoughts in a way to save her day, she was just thinking the about her own truth she believed.

Raven rolled his eyes, yes. It kind of bothered her, he didn't have to bring up the two girls she liked. Er well.. used to like one. So complicated. Jeez. And obviously it was no secret to herself that the brunette wanted Alaska's attention. If it ever happened, It might be fun. Which reminded her that she hadn't given her the birthday present she'd bought. Much chaos happened at the birthday, which Raven wasn't very surprised about. Matching his grin, with her own smug smirk. Ignoring the fact that both Riveras always seemed to be interested in the same girl. "Oh, baby. Trust me when I say it'll be the best kiss of your life." She put a hand on his cheek and slapped it gently, turning her head and looking to Alex who was reading a script, and snatched it out of his hands.

"Relax, I'll return it later. You're not even in the play. Just take a seat and watch the professionals." Alex walked down the stage, and took a seat near Adriane. Although, not passing by Raven without a glare. Which was surprising considering he used to be afraid of her, maybe he was actually becoming less of a bitch. Good for him. Raising up the script and starting off, she didn't care if Mason wasn't ready. She hoped he'd get the hint once she started. "Kenickie.." Raven mocked gasped, putting a hand to her chest. "Are you.. Jealous?" She walked around him, and stopped in-front of his face. "Why would you be?" Raising an eyebrow. "Tell me why.." Watching him intently. "Or better yet. Show me."
