Why you're in foster care:

Her story isn't extraordinarily sad, or abnormal, her parents simply died in a car accident on their way to the movie theater. They were killed about four months ago so the wounds are fresh.

Personality:

Sam knows a lot more than she lets on. People often thinks she's a lot older than 13, not because of her appearance but because of the way she carries herself. She is particularly drawn to politics and history, and excels in school. Shes a combination of a vocal activist despite her young age, and a quiet observer. She really is a good kid, but she has a dangerous side. She's willing to take risks and she values fun above all else, although you would never guess this is her outlook. Sam is extremely independent and is more than capable of taking care of herself, despite the government considering her a child in need of foster care. She is generally optimistic and full of life. Growing up she was what would be considered "too nice" and allowed the other children to walk all over her, but she has learned to stand up for herself without sacrificing her kindness. Sam has too many aspirations to list. She demands the best from herself and is passionate about so many things. Her biggest goal right now is to get good grades and maybe find a summer job. Her more long term goals are undecided. She could see herself being a politician, since it is something she is passionate about and can change the world, but she could also see herself as architect.

Bio:

She grew up with her mother, father, and brother in L.A. and loved every minute of it. She was extremely close to her mom, and could tell her anything. Her mom truly was her best friend, and Sam cared about her more than anybody in the world. In the weeks leading up to her parent's death Sam had been fighting with her mom constantly. It was unlike them to act this way, but her mom thought she was still a child, and she thought she was old enough to do what she wanted. Even when she was going through this rough patch she knew that her mom was the only person she could count on for the rest of her life-until she wasn't there at all.


After the accident something inside of Sam broke, but nobody can tell what. Sam was always an emotional girl, but when she got that phone call saying neither of her parents were coming home she didn't cry. She never shed a tear through any of this. Some would say she took it like a soldier, knowing that she can't let this event disrupt her life. She appears to be her strong, happy self, but those who know her best realize that something is off.

Sam plays viola and loves starting clubs at school. She has a close group of friends who she has not seen since she has been relocated. After her parent's death she found comfort in a boy who she is currently dating. She doesn't see herself being with him forever, but she loves the attention he gives her and she does love him. She also likes to play the sims and has built many gorgeous homes using the game.

  Jamie grew up as the youngest of 5 siblings in his original family. He does not remember much about it since when he turned 3 he was put into care. Once there he was not there long since he was first adopted a few months later. Unfortunately this would see Jamie bump around from family to family until he landed in his current family. It was around this time he developed his love of dancing. He enrolled in a dance studio and it became obvious that he had a natural talent for Dancing so he quickly developed into one of the star performers in his dance studio.

  Jamie's general personality is one of someone who feels like he has to fight for everything he has had from a young child to his adult life. This makes him seem like he is full of himself and prideful, when in fact he is just happy with what he has earned in life. He is a loyal individual when it comes to his circle of friends, which is very limited as Jamie is not someone who lets people in easy.

  Jamie signed up to dancing when he was 13, when he was getting interested in extra curricular activities. He quickly discovered a natural talent for dancing and he nurtured the talent as he progressed and quickly developed a reputation, all the while he was trying to figure out what to do with his life. By the start of the summer he decided he wanted to dance professionally.
  
  
  Swimming:
  
  
  Jamie is an avid swimmer, using the college pool whenever possible. This developed from a childhood love of swimming that saw him end up on the high school swim team as their captain. He kept this up in college, joining their team which he still competes on to this day. He has gained quite a number of medals and trophies because of his excellent performance.
