She was found in a truck stop booth when she was only a few months old and the owner of the place called child protective services, she was taken away and put in a foster home, she was always different form everyone, even at age five, she was always silent. When she turned ten the foster home had been abandoned when the old couple that ran the group home died, of course since she never bothered to talk to potential adopters she wasn't adopted, she was left and alone in the old house, she ran around on the streets till she was thirteen and CPS found her, they kept her in a foster home for a year till she ended up being taken to a group home, the people who ran it were a young and successful couple who couldn't have kids, they had a small mansion, they had been wanting kids and they decided to start a group home since they couldn't conceive children themselves, here she had her own room, though she chose the attic and cleaned it up, the couple let her decorate it as she pleased. Eric and Samantha are there names, they got her into a nice school called "Oak Valley High" which she attends as a sophomore

BRIEF DESCRIPTIONJoel is fairly small for his age, standing at only 5'3". He is small and very slim, not having much muscle at all.


Joel has light brown hair which has a sweeping side fringe to the right side of his face. Over time, he has allowed this to grow out to the length he likes. His hair is naturally curly, but he straightens it regularly. He has light blue eyes which also show a little green when in sunlight.


Joel has quite pale skin, due to being anemic. Due to this, he sometimes looks quite ill and seems faint.

Persona

PERSONALITYJoel is typically a very quiet person around people he doesn't know and outside the music industry, not being very social to anyone he isn't familiar with. Around colleagues, his friends and bandmates, he is a lot more outgoing and friendly. He likes to mess around and often causes trouble for his higher ups such as teachers and band manager.


Joel is accepting and friendly towards anyone, always happy to gain a new friend. He is kind and polite and is always a good person to talk to in times of need, being trustworthy and comforting. However, get on the wrong side of him and you aren't befriending him again. He ignores people completely if they do wrong by him. He may dislike someone, but will tolerate them and still be kind to them.


Joel may be usually a fairly happy teen, but he can become downhearted when it comes to his anemia. He hates it, it often makes him have to cancel gigs and become unable to go out with his friends. Otherwise, Joel is typically happy and laid back. He accepts almost anything and avoids conflict like the plague, wanting to make everyone happy. He rarely gets angry, but when he does, the person who angered him would full well regret it.


Joel can quite often be fairly lazy and will skip school due to oversleeping or being 'ill'. However, he is intelligent and easily makes up his grades, often boring him. He becomes distracted easily and often hums to himself or taps tunes. He doodles and draws a lot in class and some of his geography notes are written in Japanese due to how bored he can get.


Music is Joel's method of chilling out. He likes to casually play his guitar and sing to himself. He is happy to perform in front of crowds and audiences and will always be eager to work on new music.


Romantically, Joel doesn't do so well. He has plenty of fangirls and people who want to date him, that's not the issue. He suffered a very bad relationship and break up and hasn't dated again in years. He doesn't really understand how romance works, just that he does wish he had someone to lean on no matter what happened. The two brothers have always gotten along fairly well. Yes, they had their disagreements and sometimes annoyed each other, but they were happy enough. When Josh moved out, Joel became pretty upset as he had previously spent a lot of time with his brother and missed his company. He had always gone to his brother for advice and comfort. Josh had originally been the guitar player and had encouraged Joel when he decided to learn to play. Josh has always been very supportive of Joel and is always there for him. The two always played games together and hung out together. Josh was like a role model to Joel.


Joel and Karen


The mother-son relationship can get pretty strained. Karen often doesn't agree with Joel's choices and lack of interest in school, despite his abilities. She often takes his guitar away to make him study, but only finds him asleep instead. They often argue over what he wants to do with his future and about his current position as singer and lead guitarist in his band taking up a lot of his time. Joel often gets annoyed with his mother for trying to restrict him and her tendency to not let him go out. Otherwise, the two get along alright, Joel trying to avoid their arguments.


REASON FOR BEING HEREJoel and his mother had a big argument. His mother had come home with his step father, who was an abusive drunk. The two had gotten angry with him for breaking a simple plate while he was washing up. His step father had begun threatening him, saying he was going to 'correct' his sexuality. Joel had argued back until he was pushed against the wall and beaten to near death. He was thrown onto the floor and fell unconscious. His mother and step father left, leaving his brother to find him close to death on the floor. Joel is now put into care due to his brother being financially unstable to look after him. Joel still has red marks and bruising on his neck and face and other parts of his body.

Bio: Living in a small place in New York with just her 2 Brothers and her Father, Madison always enjoyed the small things she had. Her Mother on the other hand didn't enjoy her Fathers company to well which led to a divorce to the children at a young age....


Things were quiet normal in the Carmichael house however, even without a Mother figure they still lived on with their daily lives; though a minor problem stuck Madi at a young age.
