Caleb stared at the darkened window of the bus. Despite the fact that he couldn't see out of it, he knew the real world was out there. Trees, grass, people, society. He found that he didn't really miss it. Sure, smartphones were nice and so were laptops that weren't monitored by Allen, but that was a small price to pay for the freedom to use his abilities without being judged or hated for it.

Since his ability wasn't a physical one, he had to train pretty hard to stay in peak physical shape. Telepathy worked wonders, though, when it came to their missions. Getting into someones mind was an amazing feat, and it was one that he was grateful to Thunder for helping him hone. Hearing peoples thoughts unwarranted was one big headache, but now he knew how to block those out and just hear the ones he wanted to hear.

He couldn't make someone do something, but he could influence their thoughts now and make them think they wanted to do something. He'd been on many a mission, however, where someone could still block him and it frustrated him, although he didn't show it. Turning his head just slightly, he saw Arianna's figure beside him. She had been at Thunder less than a year, and he could tell that these missions got to her sometimes. But it was his job to make sure that she got rid of that mentality, he believed, so that she could be the best she could be.

Looking away from her, towards the front of the bus, he sighed silently and continued to wait for it to arrive.

Arianna and Caleb always sat together on the mission bus. Disguised as some sort of prison bus, blacked out windows included, most people either didn't pay it any mind or stayed far away from it. That was fine with her. She used to ask Caleb all sorts of questions on the way to their targets, but lately she'd been more quiet. Killing someone would do that to you.

Arianna had her own issues from her past, as Caleb had pointed out to her before. But she was somehow supposed to use those and become a better assassin. She was trying to learn from Caleb, but it was hard. Obviously Thunder trusted her enough to make her a level three, but she wondered how she was supposed to make it to a level one if she still had doubts about Thunder and everything about it.

She'd never voiced those opinions and thoughts to Caleb. It was pretty much the only thing she kept from him, considering she knew how he felt about Thunder, and how grateful he was for their presence in his life. Biting her lower lip harder than she meant to, she gasped and released it, turning her attention to the rest of the bus. She and Caleb always sat in the very back. It shouldn't be much longer before they reached their target's home town.

Augustina Nicolai
August had fallen alseep only 15 minutes into the bus ride, having late night because of either excitement or nervousness. She couldn't really tell, since this was only her second mission; but she was prepared. Her first mission want smoothly, as it was just a small, testing the waters kinds thing with a small team. And it turns out, August doesn't mind killing people. As bad as that sounds, the image of the man her an her team took out was just...it didn't bother her like it should have. Maybe Thunder is just really good at training them. Anyway, August fell slightly on whoever was sitting next to her, her head resting slightly on their shoulder as she still slept. Good thing she didn't snore. Or drool. Who ever she was laying on could move her, or wake her up, August wouldnt mind much. She'd just go back to sleep. @/Whoever wants to be sitting with her.

Luca scanned the bus full of recruits from his seat in the back. It looked the same as it did every time he’d gotten on it in the last seven years. Blacked out windows, chipped blue paint, cracked seats, and full of the stench of upcoming death. Luca thought of this bus as a harbinger of death. It carried groups of dangerous paranormal assassins to different towns so they could murder innocent people. Like their current target, Jackie O’Dell. The woman was an innocent journalist who was doing her job by trying to uncover the truth and make the public aware of what went on just beneath their noses. And they were going to kill her for it.

Luca was no stranger to murder, but before Thunder, he had never ended a life himself. He still remembered the first life he’d taken by his own hand. Elena Delgado. She’s been nineteen years old at the time. She was planning her wedding to a US Marine named Tyler Johnson. But she witnessed a paranormal in action, and Thunder couldn’t have anyone in the outside world knowing about paranormals. So they ordered her killed, and Luca was the one to end her life. It was her face that he saw when he closed his eyes and fell back into the nightmares, her blood that he saw on his hands.

Luca shook himself out of his memories, looking up from his hands and taking a deep breath. Settling back into his cold demeanor, he looked over at August where she slept peacefully beside him. She hadn’t been on it too many times as of yet, since she’d only been a Level Four for a few months, but ever since the first time she had, they’d been sitting together on it. She had sat down with him the first time she rode it, and it had stuck since then. Luca knew from the first mission she’d been on that killing didn’t really bother her, and sometimes that grated on him, but he always let go of it. He wouldn’t ruin the only relationship he’d had with another person in years just because of that. He smiled slightly when her head landed on his shoulder, and rested his cheek on the top of her head for a moment before he sat back and waited for the bus to arrive.

Damien sighed bitterly, staring at what had once been a window to the outside world with dark and unblinking eyes. It was probably for the best that he couldn't see beyond his miserable confines, as that would only make running off more tempting. Still, there was a dull ache in his chest, a place wilted by Thunder that longed to be filled by the now-forgotten rush of freedom and adrenaline.

With nothing to do but wait, Damien glared at his fellow assassins and crossed his arms over his chest. Killing didn't bother him or stir any sort of emotional response, but that didn't mean he liked it. If anything, the young man envied Thunder's targets. Death seemed downright palatable if it came with a lifetime spent doing whatever you wanted.

The corner in which he sat seemed darker than the rest of the vehicle, and that suited him just fine. There was nothing to say, and the only agent he didn't hate was off doing whatever Level Ones did, so Damien sat in silence, feeling so much of nothing that it was actually uncomfortable.

Dominic never really cared for the bus rides on the way to missions. They were always mundane and uneventful, as he usually had no one to talk to. He sat in the back with his wireless headphones covering his ears, British rap music on the lowest sound level possible filling his ears. If he had bumped the volume up any higher, it would prove to be too much for his sensitive hearing.

Along with being extremely anti-social, Dominic sat in the back to distance himself from the strong scents and sounds of the others in the bus. He figured isolating himself was the best way to not get overwhelmed. He went over the mission file in his head—he had ingrained it verbatim into his memory—and analyzed the different scenarios that could have occured while on this mission. It seemed like a simple one; their target was a journalist who knew too much and he was sure she wouldn't have stellar security around her. Thunder decided it was time to silence this woman, as she posed a threat for their organization; Dominic agreed with them. She needed to be brought down of Thunder would be compromised. If that happened, Dominic would be without a home yet again; he might have even been thrown in jail for his crimes.

And he definitely wasn't going to let that happen. He'd put a bullet in that lady's head himself if he had to.

Dominic stared out the tinted windows of the bus, continuing to construct multiple plans and strategies for the mission.

Vienna had been up all night about this mission. She wasn't exactly too keen on this mission because she didn't like the idea of killing others. Vienna was afraid of using her powers, ever since she had killed someone from her own hands, she hadn't used her powers all that much. The only time she has used her power was only a couple of years ago and that was for training. Plus, why did they need the whole levels from 2-4 going on this mission? It was only one woman, surely they could have gotten someone from level 2 or 1 to go, but not half of the sector. Vienna was in the back of the bus, and she kept to herself for some time now because she didn't want others to see how she was. Vienna was a mess, she needed sleep and this mission was already getting under her skin. Vienna didn't want to kill anyone, but then again this Jackie O'Dell women could spill the beans about what they are.

Vienna ran her hand through her hair, and she saw a strand left on her hand. She picked up the strand of hair and looked at it. She couldn't believe that her hair was this colour. She used to hate it because of what had happened in the past. Vienna had heard that the people of her town thought that she went psycho and murdered her family in the house and one civilian. That wasn't even the whole story, she couldn't believe it and she never did let it go. Humans were bullies who cease to understand that differences are what makes us beautiful and could really unite us as one. But they didn't see that at all. Vienna let go of the strand of white hair and she looked out the window.

Maggie HartMaggie reclined in the front of the bus. Her legs were propped on the seat in front of her. Her arms were crossed and she was in full assassin mode. She'd been on many missions. Killed a few people. Most were dicks who needed to be killed anyway. Right now her mind was going a mile a minute researching Jackie O'Dell. Her facebook was private but it didn't take a rocket scientist to get through that. Just a hacker. The woman really liked to run and posts selfies of herself while on the movie. If Maggie worked in journalism she'd probably work out all the time too. Considering she ate like a pig she probably should be working out more than she did at Thunder.

And then the recipes started popping up. Looked like she was on some kick with eating weird food. "This woman! Why can't she eat like a normal person?!" Maggie exclaimed loudly. She often forgot people couldn't see what she did. Not her fault.
