Welcome to the Show [Inactive]

“well the funny thing is i know where someone is they peeked there head out but didn’t come to help me and went back to their dorm” as he says that he looks at Sayuri dorm. “but if you don’t wanna do that sure we can place on the roof or something”

Hearing the sounds of talking coming from a somewhat close by room, Aiden stuck his head out of his door and traced the sounds back to their owners with his ears; they seemed to be talking about a bed and a prank.

"They could stick the bed to the ceiling, fill the blanket with snow, and wait for it to melt all over the floor. Although the ceiling probably already does that anyway," he thought as he brought his head back into his room.

"There's way too many rooms for this to be a family, this is more like a disgusting abandoned school. I should leave." He grabbed what little items he had and neatly placed them back into his bag which he then through over his shoulder. As he started walking back to the entrance he saw all sorts of people who all seemed different, although one person looked like they got the wrong half of the spider-man deal. A crazy idea popped into his mind: to stay here with people more like him instead of the lazy adoption centre where everyone else seemed to be many years younger. After toying with the idea for a while, Aiden turned on his heels and began making his way back to the room - well, dorm - and once again, unpacked his things and sat down on the uncomfortable bed.

Having said goodbye to her parents ages ago (or at least what seemed like), the car drove up to the building, and her bags were taken out of the vehicle, set down next to her. The scent of gasoline was all that was left by the time she picked up the suitcases and started walking up the stairs. "Let's hope they'll keep their promise," she mumbled under her breath, dragging said things behind her. Struggling to open the doors and walk through them, she let out an audible sound of annoyance, but managed to venture into the building. It was... Not exactly what she'd expected. Obvious neglect had taken place, and cobwebs had what appeared to be permanent residence in the corners of high ceilings.

Lugging belongings behind her, Harley finally found her way to the dormitories, but not before running into a few odd characters that pointed her in the right direction. She found a room that was empty (or so it seemed), and set her things down, taking a rest on the bed. It really had been an exhausting day. Not to mention the fact that she wouldn't get enough sleep that night... Letting out an audible sigh, she fell backward, the thin blankets proving to be not enough, hardly reaching the edges of the twin-sized foundation. It was a good thing she'd packed plenty of extras.

Waiting it out for a few minutes, she thought she heard talking from somewhere in the hallway. Propping herself up on her elbows, her brows pulled together as she listened. Feet hitting the wooden floor, the boards squeaked a little bit under the newly-found pressure added to them. Tucking a few red locks behind her ear, she walked forward, closing her door quietly behind her, lower lip buttoned behind seemingly abnormally sharp teeth. Harley's hands instinctively found their way to the comfortable sweater pockets as she ambled down the stretch of hallway in much need of tidying up.

Unpacking was finished and Sayuri was sitting on the edge of the bed. She glanced around the room. Noticing that the room was very dusty with webs and such, she guessed that this academy must have been neglected for some time. I'll clean up a bit later, she thought as she took off her jacket, placing it beside her neatly. Just then, she thought the room smelled weird. She hadn't noticed earlier, but now it was bugging her. Letting out a somewhat loud sigh, she stood and opened the door, hoping the smell would go away. After taking a breath, she left the door open and returned to the bed.

"Wow, that was pretty cold of them." They said, but was still unsure about bugging another student that badly. "There are plenty of other ways to get back at them though." They smirked, thinking of how to annoy someone without scaring them too bad. "Anyway, now that you're chill with it, I'm moving it to the roof." Devon turned to face the bed, and concentrated. Soon, the bed vanished, but they remained deep in thought for a few seconds more. When they broke concentration, they looked at Josef and smiled. "Done!"

“ok well thanks for your help if you need anything in return just come ask me” he says with his thumb’s up. “I just gotta make my own bed now” he sighs with exasperation then his face lights up “oh ya i never asked you why are you in this school anyways?” he asks while beginning to spindle his new bed.

Smelling an unusually rancid smell caused Aiden to turn his head towards his door, where the smell seemed to be coming from, he pushed the door open and began to follow the smell, but for what reason he was not quite sure - curiosity maybe. The smell seemed to be coming from the dorm of another student who was on their bed. For a moment, he thought about talking to the person, but decided against it and returned to his dorm without saying a word.

As she was sitting on the bed, she put her right hand 6 inches away from her face, and imagined her bones coming out of her hand. Slowly, out the tips of her fingers, long, white bones began to appear. The bones extended 3 inches from the top of every finger as she turned her hand to look at it from every angle. She tried to draw them back into her hands, but after feeling a sharp pain in her hand, she released the bones. "Ouch..." She said as the bones dropped to the floor.

When walking away from the student's room, Aiden thought he saw bones start to rise from her fingers, but he wasn't sure, so he decided to peer through the door once more and saw bones lying on the floor.

"Interesting," he thought, only he thought it out loud, loud enough to be heard.

"God damnit," he added, keeping that one in his head.

Hearing somebody talk from her doorway, she stood up, holding her right hand in pain. She looked over at the the man who was at her door, which startled her. When did he get there, she thought.

"Uh.... Hi...." She gave him a small smile and bowed quickly. She then looked down at the bones on the ground. "Umm..."

Realising that he was probably going to have to do some talking and it was too late to just run away, Aiden looked at the bones, then at the student, trying to avoid eye contact at all costs.

"Oh, er, hi," he said.

"Whose bones are those?" he asked, although he was pretty certain that they were the same bones that he thought he had seen grow from her fingers.

Seeing as how he wouldn't make eye contact, she made it easier for him and moved her gaze to the ground. It was weird for her to talk to a complete stranger about this, but she did anyways.

"M-mine..." She clenched her right hand tightly. The tips of her fingers, where the bones came out from, was bleeding. I shouldn't had tried retracting them. It didn't hurt to take the bones out, but it hurt like hell trying to put them back in.

Aiden noticed she dropped her gaze and felt as if he had made her feel ashamed, he really just wanted to run away and hopefully never ever see this person again, but he knew that wasn't going to happen.

"Yours? That's... interesting," he said, hating himself for using the word 'interesting' again.

"Thank you very much," she said with a slight bow. "Umm... I'm Sayuri. Nice to meet you..."

To her, the man was somewhat intimidating. He seemed as if didn't even walk to be here, which made her uneasy. She wasn't quite sure how to go about this situation. Moreover, she needed to wrap her hand, since blood was trickling down her wrist. She turned to grab her jacket and pulled it over her right hand, hoping to conceal it.

Aiden held out his hand after she offered her name.

"I'm Aiden, nice to meet you too," he said. Whilst holding out his hand he noticed she was trying to cover her hand and before that there seemed to be some blood.

"Are you bleeding? Wait right there," he said, turning around to walk back into his room.

"But what if it's serious?" he thought, then vanished, disappearing without so much as a poof, and reappeared back in his room. He grabbed one of the old shirts that didn't really fit him, but he had to take with him because it was the policy of the adoption centre, and tried to rip some fabric from it, but couldn't muster up the strength so he once again disappeared and reappeared in the back of a closed hardware shop and used some of the scissors lying around to cut a long strip from the shirt. He vanished from the shop to arrive back in his dorm to dump the rest of the shirt on the floor, before vanishing once again and returning back into Sayuri's room.

"Here you go," he said, holding out the wrap. Although he may have covered a large distance, he was only gone for less than a minute.

"E-eh? What--,' she managed to get that much out before he disappeared. Sayuri wasn't sure what happened. Instead of thinking too much about it, she sat on her bed and waited, like he said. Suddenly, he appeared again and held out a long strip of cloth. She was smiled brightly at the male and took the cloth. He was surprisingly kind.

"Thank you very much!"

"Half demon," Devon said. "Hence the reality-warping or whatever I just did is called. I never really researched my powers, but whatever." they frowned, then continued the conversation. "I'd ask you the same, but it's kinda obvious," they smiled, hoping that came out in the joking manner that they wanted it to.

Aiden grinned slightly, feeling somewhat proud of himself for getting the strip of cloth for her.

"You're welcome," he said.

Sayuri took the jacket off her hand, revealing the blood covered tips of her fingers. She then realized that she was right-handed. It would be hard for her to wrap it herself, but she wasn't sure if she should ask him. Instead, she attempted doing it herself, but she wrapped could barely get it around her hand.

Aiden noticed she was struggling somewhat to get the bandage around her fingers, he wondered if he should ask, or if she would be able to do it herself, he didn't want to seem like he thought she was incapable of doing it herself, but at the same time he didn't want to seem rude.

"Need a hand with that?" he asked, ultimately deciding that offering help would be the best idea.

"Ah...." Sayuri hesitated to answer. If she said yes, would she sound needy? If she rejected his offer, would he think she's rude? But since she did need help, she accepted his offer.

"If you wouldn't mind," she said, holding her right hand out to him.

Aiden smiled, partly because it was polite, but partly because he hadn't sounded rude or mean. he took the bandage and carefully wrapped it around the bleeding fingers, tucking the loose end into the wrappings in hope that it would stay put.

"There we go, that should stay put."

"Again, thank you very much, umm... Aiden. You've been very kind to me." Sayuri gave a short bow to him and smiled. He didn't seem intimidating at all anymore, but very kind. She held her left hand out for a handshake. "I don't believe we shook hands yet."

Aiden smiled and held back a tiny giggle when she bowed so as not to seem disrespectful.

"No, I don't believe we have," he said, taking her hand and gently shaking it.

"That's it," he thought. "I'm staying here. Even though it's a bit dirty."

Sayuri shook his hand happily. She liked it here already.

"I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble today. I'm truly grateful," she said in a polite tone and released his hand. "Uhm.. If you don't mind me asking, is your dorm room close to here...?"
