Hey there, definitely interested. Would having no other pokemon except for a jolteon as a partner be alright? Id like to write a character who loves traveling and who, with the exception of his partner jolteon, has no real interest in pokemon training at the start.

On his eighth birthday Izumi was given an Eevee as companion and friend, for the 2 following years his life continued as normal with his Eevee evolving into Jolteon and his father getting increasingly more busy with work, making more and more business trips leading to Izumi more often being alone with his mother. When Izumi was halfway through his tenth year of life his mother got a terminal illness to which she succumbed before he turned eleven. His father, in an attempt to drown out the grief of losing his wife, fully committed himself to his work, enrolling Izumi into a private business school and going on an ever increasing amount of business trips. After putting up with a school life that made him miserable and his gradually worsening relationship with his father for five years Izumi finally had enough. At 16 years old he left school, packed his necessities, and booked the first plane ticket out of Kalos. This lead to him quickly discovering his love for traveling.
Now, another five years later, Izumi has travelled to several different regions and has gotten to know many different cultures. Having come to a mutual understanding with his father in the minimum amount of contact they had over those 5 years Izumi has a healthy bank account that could support his travels for the coming years. Having heard about the festival in Santoris he immediately booked a boat ticket and set off for the islands with his trusted partner Jolteon by his side.

And so, having gotten out of a prestigious school, Juno has taken to exploring the world on the behalf of her father's company.

Personal Info: Jaxe could be a considered a reflection of Juno's inner fury. He carries a similar expression, if far more
extreme: stoic and uncaring on the outside...yet incredibly furious on the inside. He lets it show in far more destructive ways as well, displaying it through his usage of his above-average psychic powers outside of battle. If he wasn't so obedient to Juno, he would've been declared a public menace. It's to the point where those who work for her father's company will often follow Jaxe's orders upon the threat of him opening his ears. Luckily though, he does care about the team and does his best as Juno's appointed leader. But he mostly just cares for Juno.

He much prefers getting his information from the source rather than reading about it in a book. Aside from that, he has a genuinely caring demeanor; making sure others are taken care of before himself, which is especially true with his pokemon. Though this, along with a happy-go-lucky nature, leads to naivete. Vince tries to avoid conflict and drama as much as possible, so when it's inevitable, he'll try to defuse the situation with words before any violence. But if the chips are down and there's no other options, he'll fight for what he believes is right.

His interest in the mythologies of the world sparked from none other than Dragonspiral Tower, where it's said that Legendary Pokemon are created and slumber. Though he constantly got into fights with his older sister Liliana, as most siblings do, he still cherishes those moments with his family to this day. As he grew older he wanted to further pursue his interests as a mythologist and decided to go on a journey across Unova to understand more about it. Traveling across the various cities and landscapes of Unova, he gained some new allies in his pokemon. Though he doesn't consider himself a trainer, having friends definitely livens things up. After about a year or so of researching the legends of Unova, he found the perfect opportunity to branch out into the other regions of the world, as an expedition team needed mythologists and folklorists to do research on the region of Santoris.
Reason(s) for Santoris Visit: Sent to do research on the mythos of Santoris for his job. That won't stop him from enjoying the festivities though.

Upon first glance, lee can be seen as someone who's disinterested in the world, often unbothered by anything he faces problems with a simple "What a pain" or a "whatever" before dealing with it, usually seeing it as an annoyance more than anything. Despite this blatant disregard for anything, Lee is surprisingly a hard and efficient worker, if you give him a job then he'' surely get it down quickly and efficiently.
Despite his cold and aloof nature, Lee is surprisingly a kind and caring person and while he doesn't outright show it his main reason for joining the International Police is to help people in need. Though he might take his job to the extreme, often working himself down to the bone and exhausting himself. Vacation or relaxing definitely isn't a part of his workflow.
History:
Born in the bustling Castelia Lee was shown the darker underbelly of Unova's shining city at a young age. Thugs, Thieves, and Scam Artists were all people Lee grew up around in the dark alleyways of Castelia. His parents weren't great people either, both were affiliated with Team Plasma before and now they lived their lives as broken as those fanatics. Still growing up Lee hated his circumstances, having to fend for himself while his family tried to relive their past glories (if you could call it that). During his teenage years, Lee finally got a break when a member of the International Police came to investigate a local group of thugs in Castelia, Lee was more than happy to help the officer which would eventually get him on the radar to become a cadet. Shortly after Lee took up the offer and after a few years of training he graduated as an officer at the age of 20, his first mission was to investigate the rumors of an evil team in the Santoris region. There wasn't much information on the team yet and the IPO wanted to keep tabs on them, just in case they tried to pull anything.

indigo was born in the galar region and raised in spikemuth. despite his hometown's troublesome reputation, indigo lived a relatively normal childhood with katora and rollo terran — his pokémon coordinator and fine artist mother and his pokémon trainer and spikemuth gym leader father. at thirteen, indigo's father inspired him to embark on his pokémon journey with his partner-in-crime: mischief, his shiny zorua. indigo joined the galar league and lost spectacularly in the championship finals. despite his failure, indigo felt truly motivated for the first time in his life. after the galar league, indigo focused on building his team and deepening his bonds with his pokémon. unlike his traditionalist father, indigo wasn't opposed to dynamaxing / gigantamaxing during a battle. by the time he was eighteen, indigo journeyed the entire galar region and its neighboring islands. he even visited other pokémon regions like kalos, unova, alola, and sinnoh. when his father stepped down from the spikemuth gym, indigo reluctantly accepted the mantle. three years later, indigo's gym trainers convinced forced him to take a break from the gym. he embarked on an all-expenses paid vacation to the santoris region for the upcoming festival.
