Okay, so Hubub101 Hubub101 your sheet is a little contradicting. I say this because you say:

- Madness is the final tool in Arthur's arsenal, if you can call it that. Manifesting as his social anxiety in everyday life, his madness was the result of his parents thinking madness worked like poison, and thus continuous exposure could cause someone to build up a resistance. Turns out that's not quite the case, however the goal was somewhat achieved as it gave Arthur some experience in how to resist madness. He has no more or less natural resistance than anyone else and now he's socially inept, but at least he got some training out of it.

I think you mean: "Continous experiments from his parents in regards to controlling his madness have left Arthur with a slightly higher tolerance towards the effects of his own personal madness, however an external source is still as effective on him as it would be on anyone else" (kudos to a buddy for helping word this right lmao)

I think that is what I meant, sorry for the confusion. Was still wrapping my head around the difference of internal and external madness but I think I've got it now. I'll make that edit, anything else?

Could you real quick explain what "the effects of his own personal madness" means or looks like? At least as opposed to outside madness? I'm probably going to scrap this section to avoid future confusion.

Inside madness is your own madness in your soul, external is just outside from anything else.

So a tolerance to internal madness would mean it doesn't influence his decisions as easily? Or does it mean the madness itself (in this case social anxiety) is less potent or bothersome?

think of madness as going insane irl, it could gradually get worse over time. but due to your character's soul and will, he's fairly strong which keeps madness at bay

So a tolerance wouldn't suppress the effects of existing internal madness, but would prevent it from worsening and having him totally loose his mind?

Basically. Cause Alice has madness that was created with her abuse as a defense mechanism. She tolerates it but she’s still plagued by it and has episodes from time to time. It’s all dependent on if you’re strong enough not to go insane or succumb to it
