Hi, I'm Marshall Savage. Before you ask, yes, it's my real name. With intros out of the way, let me fill you in. Shit hit the fan about 5 weeks ago. Some virus thing spread across the U.S and started turning people into zombies. Yeah, like the ones you see in tv shows and movies. You get bit then BOOM, your infected. From what I've seen, it takes about an hour for you to turn, depending on how many times you've been bit. Most of them are slow moving, but there are some runners out there. Anyways, humanity has "bounced back" so to say. We made these things we call Colonies. Basically, you find a place that is relatively z-free, secure it, build a wall of sorts, and people find you. Start farms and all that special stuff. Send people out to scavenge for supplies and what not. And of course, have people protect the Colony. Simple. Right now, you're in what used to be Scarsdale, New York. Now, its, well, Scarsdale Colony. Perks of being in a suburb, you're close to the city. In our case New York City. It's only about 40 miles away. Perfect little place in Hell. Well, I got things to do. See ya around. Watch out for z's!
Ok, it's a basic zombie apocalypse rp centered in Scarsdale, New York. The year is 2018 and a virus struck hard and fast. It swept across the nation in just over a month. All international contact has been cut, so the U.S is all alone. Basically, you character will have some job in the colony. You could be a simple yet important farmer or a daring and respected Runner. There will be a whole lore page listing different jobs and such once this starts (if it does). This is going to be a casual to detailed RP, so posts should be a paragraph+ in length. One more thing, you've already got my character's name.
