"He regenerates..... you slice him.... he does not bleed... He is fully covered in armor... and he is strong enough to wipe out entire armies by him self. I have seen it...." she takes a sip. "The only reason I survived was because i was so agile.." she looks at him "The reason I want him dead is simple. At first... it was an assassination job. Thought he was a normal man.. then he took an arrow straight to the head and through his heart."' she sipped. "Then it was a grudge because he killed most of my army.... now I believe if he dies, his soul will be set free"

"Theres perks to it. While i usually get greedy pigs who's only focus is money, i meet a gem or two every once in a while. I met one today infact." He was still grinding, and pulled a jar,pouring the paste in slowly,before sealing it up. He chuckled,grabbing afew ingredients more and going back today."a stubborn one...like a diamond. Cant quiet say that though. Cant picture a white haired diamond...maybe a sturdy pearl..."

She went quite all of a sudden, a different kind of quiet this time and just sat there for a long time, "I'm not...a diamond, or a pearl." She whispered, "I'm going to bed." Climbing off the chair she moved to leave the room.

Art continued listening as she was explaining and then at the mention of being free his eyes got steely and icy as if he was reliving a memory. Art slowly leaned over as if in slight pain at the thought, replying almost as if to himself, "Is there even such thing as being free..?" Art slowly started to sit up and then finished his drink. He then looked over at her again, "Anyways, I can only imagine you'll be less agile in that armor..." Art looked over at the Tavern-keep and held his glass up for a refill to have one slid down to him shortly after. "And how exactly are you planning on killing him?"

Alicia NefarasFor the most part, despite the danger she was in and the fact that the forest was literally burning down around her, Alicia slept peacefully. Slowly but surely she was shaken awake as Jinn moved coupled with inhaling smoke, at first she did little more than twitch. But suddenly she woke up violently coughing from the smoke.


She felt like she'd been ran over by a horse, repeatedly, and said horse up and decided to lay down on her and go to sleep. Her vision was blurry and she could barely move half an inch. The only thing she could see below her was a blurry smoke filled inferno. She wasn't sure who was carrying her, or why, but she was in no way recovered enough to fight back.


"What..happened?" She asked whoever was carrying her weakly. She hoped whoever she healed made it away from the vampire. Judging from the fact she was still alive she guessed someone had drove the vampire off. Which was good, perhaps it was whoever was carrying her? "Thank you for helping me.." She added, certain that without whoever was carrying her that she'd be dead right about now.

Running away from the smoke and fire Jinn felt the girl he's carrying is moving.


"What..happened?" She asked "Thank you for helping me.."She added


He looked at her, slightly slowed his pace to respond. I'm glad to hear that you're okay and conscious now little girl. Just what are you doing a while ago with that vampire? He asked. The smoke is so thick that the farthest Jinn's eyes can see is just two meters away. He got a few scratches on his face because of the branches that's in the way. The fire that the vampire set earlier is now wreaking havoc in the forest. The wildfire is advancing at a fast rate, setting trees ablaze like it was a piece of paper. Animals are also running beside him to try and save their lives. If Jinn would stop and catch his breath, they'll be engulfed in flames. Just a little bit more. Jinn said to himself, trying to push himself ran faster. Jinn can feel the heat of the blazing fire from his nape. Less than a hundred meters, the area is becoming more brighter, hinting that it might be the end of the forest. The ripple of a river can be heard now, it is not too distant from them. At the last few meters he stumbled. Oh sh*t!. As an act based on instincts, he threw the little girl in the river that would be not too shallow to hurt her but not deep enough to drown her. Before falling face first on the ground, Jinn did a roll then jumped forward. His jump fell short and landed on the rocky river bank. What luck. He grumbled. Hey, hey! Are you okay?! He yelled at where he threw the girl. @Mitchs98

"I have the female kind." she said "It will only slow me down a tad bit, as for killing him....." she took a sip "I am Michi Okanza after all... I will think of something"

Art was quiet for a moment, "He regenerates physical wounds... And doesn't bleed....." Art looked away from Michi and into his glass. He had an idea, but it was whither or not it would work or even if he'd be able to endure it. "...Do you really believe he may have a soul..?" Art asked while contemplating any other possibilities. Art knew that he may likely have to go through much pain in just the attempt of trying, and the other matter of no one else alive has seen him in his other form. In his other form he was a monster and all he felt was the pain. Art then looked up numbly at Michi, awaiting her thoughts.

He looked over before she started walking away and asked, "Just out of curiosity, do you know where can he be found?" he stood up himself and picked up his cloak watching her and waiting for her answer.

"He used to make his in a tomb-like structure in the tainted woods....." she said "The part where it turn's all purple. since I ambushed it I do not know if he still resides there..." then she grinned "If you end up finding him, Tell him the Archer is coming" she said and with that she left

Coughing and gagging she forced her body to move and drug herself onto the edge of the bank. Roling onto her back she sighed. "I'm okay!" She called out. After resting a few more minutes she shakily stood and walked over to Jinn. "Are you okay? That guy didn't bite you did he?" She asked him, carefully looking over visible areas of skin for bite marks. Not finding any she sighed with relief.


"As I was saying..he was trying to kill people so I was trying to stop him. And then you showed up." She explained. Turning to the burning forest she sighed. "And I guess from the looks of that forest he escaped..well at-least he didn't kill us." She added before turning to Jinn. "Names' Alicia. What's yours?" She asked him, smiling weakly up at him. Her entire body was still sore, but she could at-least move albeit slowly.

Art stood there for a second thinking, 'Why did I lie?..' He then threw his cloak over his shoulders and asked the tavern-keep for some paper and directions towards the area she described, he then wrote a letter for Laurel, explaining he'd be back after he looked into something and told the tavern-keeper to give it a man with a book and a pet spider with this name.


As art finished his drink and walked out the door he threw up his cloaks hood and started walking and made sure no one was following him. Then he started off on his trip while in deep thought still asking himself, 'Why did I lie?..' Art had no reason to but, it's was almost as if she already knew he was going to go alone. Art stopped right after he reached the outside of the town and looked up at the sky. Talking to himself, "I guess I go and see if this is when I finally rid myself of this pain..."


Then Art was in the woods making his way to the tainted woods.

"Sure, do you plan on leaving now?" He asked almost enthusiastically. He had now spotted the guards too, as he had already guessed that this man had had some part in the destruction of the farm, he followed him.

"Oh do not worry we are far from done." He proceeded to then to hurl another large ball of fire in the dragon's direction. He realised he would soon have to escape, he was weak as he was. "Too many peasants..." He mumbled to himself as he watched the ball fly in the dragons direction, standing completely still.

Her hair is soaked with water and because of Jinn throwing him off the river, she got water dripping from her clothes. Oh yeah, sorry I stumbled and had to throw you into the river. Here I'll let you borrow my cape. Jinn reached for the buttons and detached them. Jokingly, he threw the cape over Alicia and covered her whole. Haha we'll be heading towards the nearest town here Alicia. We'll just rest for a little bit. Jinn said as he stretches his arms and legs. He sat on one of the rocks and began to phase out.

Rais's smirk was visible in his cloak as he turned around to face Ryuu, a guard further down the street looked at Rais for that split second and instantly became suspicious. "Yup, leaving now. Tag along if you like, if we seperate head towards the forest. I'm going to find the shadow that flew over our heads." Rais hunched his back and began to hide within the crowd, heading towards the green growing at the edge of the buildings.

He watched as Rais hid in the crowd, I guess I should follow him...? Ryuu stood there thinking before he made the decision to follow Rais through the crowd, as he walked into the crowd he kept his distance from him as he knew he wasn't the best at sneaking around. He kept an eye on Rais as he made his way towards the same destination, still keeping his distance. "Maybe this wasn't the best choice..." He thought to himself, "Well no time to regret it now."

Rais, through his twisting and turning, made it to the end of the street where crowds were thinner. He looked back and made eye contact with Ryuu, nodding his head towards the trees, then disappearing from view.


As Rais made it to the treeline, he gave a sigh of relief and sat behind a dense bush for cover. He needed a new place for cover, next town over perhaps..

He made his way through the crowd towards the tree, but before he got to close to them he made sure that he had lost all the guards. Well if any had even been watching him they weren't anymore.


He stepped into the treeline and sat down behind a bush next to Rais. "So, you spot that ehh, shadow yet?" He whispered to Rais and realised how ridiculous this sounded. "Wait, how would you even know who or what that shadow was?" He still whispered, however a little louder.

Alicia giggled, "For a warrior that guy messed you up pretty quickly." She teased. "Just kidding, I didn't expect him to be that strong either. Gues-" She was interrupted by the cape being tossed over. Squirming around in the massive cape she eventually found an opening and popped her head free, pouting slightly at being interrupted. "Rude." She stated simply, crossing her arms underneath the cloak. Sighing she sat down on one of the rocks beside him. "Guess I'm getting weak, can't even stop a stupid vampire without nearly dying." She muttered to herself, sulking with her chin in her palm. "You said you're some kinda commander right? Can you train me?" She asked, turning to him. "I'm not exactly good at fighting outside of magic but I'm a good healer. The magic I can use is pretty strong. I won't get in the way or anything." She added.

"She's a bounty hunter for another demon I had met the other day. Ran into her and she nearly died. Just curious whether she knows where the demon is now." Rais leaned backwards until he was sitting on his behind, leaning even further to lie down on the green grass beneath them. Rais finally removed his hood, revealing his facial features to Ryuu, along with his mismatched eyes. "Yeah.. I'm the killer, I guess you knew from the start?"

 

[An Unknown Person]

"Death" A voice can be heard, it was deep and raspy and not human, it was followed by heavy breathing. "Spirits?" Rel asked no one in particular before finally appearing nearby Alicia and Jinn. "Mortals..." he spoke, looking like he forgot he was speaking. Rel then proceed to move closer Alicia, as if he was examining her, not showing any sort of threat to her or Jinn
