"Then I will help you," Kevin said as the other Ares campers looked at him and turned their backs to him.

Lucille sighed. "Why exactly are you helping me, you should hate me like all the other Ares kids"

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Tell me why I should hate you," Kevin asked curiously. He couldn't see any logical reason why he should hate her. They both were protectors and she had saved his skin already.

 

[LexiRK]

"I don't know, I don't get along with Ares kids. I'm intimidated by them and they're intimidated by me" Lucille said.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Well, I like you. You have a good aura about you," Kevin said honestly as they continued on her path.

 

[LexiRK]

"Of course I do, I'm a demigod I'm pretty sure we all have good auras" Lucille stopped for a minute looking around.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Not all of us do. Most of the Ares demigods have bloodlust in their auras," Kevin said bluntly.

 

[LexiRK]

"Hmph" Lucille continued walking. They'd made it once around the camp now but she kept going.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Lucille, do I bother you," Kevin asked curiously as he kept his hands on the hilts of his twin katanas.

 

[LexiRK]

Lucille thought about this for a bit. "I wouldn't call it bothering but more like I don't understand why you'd want to help me."

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Gives me something to do. In addition to the fact that this protects the other demigods here," Kevin said sensing danger and drawing his katanas quickly.

 

[LexiRK]

Lucille sighed "I suppose you can come along for now"

 

[kevinhdobson]

"What's with the sigh," Kevin asked as another group of monsters appeared.

 

[LexiRK]

"I don't work well with others" Lucille took out her arrow shooting down two of the monsters.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Somebody has to watch your back," Kevin said throwing kunai and killing two other monsters.

 

[LexiRK]

"I can make it on my own" Lucille said still shooting at the monsters.

 

[kevinhdobson]

"Ok, so let's be honest. I'm attracted to you," Kevin said as he killed the monsters by sword. Seeing Lucille's quiver running low, he gave her his.

 

[LexiRK]

"That's a new one" Lucille fired down the last two breathing hard.

 

[kevinhdobson]

Kevin stood beside Lucille holding out his quiver and said, "I'm serious. I am attracted to you and I would like to take you out to dinner sometime. If you want me to, i'll go buy it for you."

 

[LexiRK]

"I don't go out in the world often now. I have to think about... the camp..." Lucille was so tired exhaustion was taking over. She passed out falling to the ground.

Kevin caught Lucille and ran to the Hephaestus cabin. Carrying her to her bed, he laid her down and covered her up. Then he walked out and returned to patrolling her path.

"Cool thanks" Elizabeth said while trowing her belongings in the upper part of a bunk bed while her brother threw his things in the lower part of the same bunk bed

Lucille opened her eyes in her dream to a place she was familiar with "Dad?" She looked around and saw Hephaestus. "Good, your here. Lucille we need to talk, I'm worried about you"

Kevin continued on Lucille's route and killed all the monsters that he came into contact with. Sighing to himself, he worried about her.
