"Because that would eliminate the fun from the situation." Anthony said with a smile as he tried his best to block her view but he quickly got tired of watching her attempts. He pulled out the bouquet of roses from behind his back and handed them to her.

Pouting slightly, Lissa watched as he moved away again. As she went to try and think of another way when he pulled out the roses. Gasping, she reached out to take them. "They're so beautiful..." she murmured lightly touching some of the petals.

"I've seen better things." Anthony said giving her a pleased smile and caring eyes. "I love seeing you smile it's infectious."

Blushing slightly, Lissa smiled at him, raising the roses so she could smell them. Also so she could hide behind the flowers. "T-that's nice of you to say..." she murmured.

Anthony had seen her smell them and he started looking at his foot which now tapped on the floor. "Well I was taught that honesty was the easiest approach to people." Anthony said as he looked at the floor.

Smiling, Lissa moved forward so she could hug him. "Thank you." she said. "That was very sweet of you." she said honestly.

Anthony gave a smile as she thanked him. He hugged her and enjoyed it but again didn't stay attached very long. "So I was wondering if you wanted to go out to lunch some time let's say maybe tomorrow?"

Pulling away, Lissa grinned, nodding. "Sure!" she said happily. "It's Saturday, so any time would be fine with me." she told him. She was still happy that Anthony was back in town!

"Great so what are you going to do now?" Anthony asked as he looked at Lissa with a smile. He was already getting excited at the fact that she had said yes which not many people would do.

Grinning, Lissa shrugged. "Not much really. I have some work to finish for tomorrow." she said, than thought. "Oh, I have work later tonight." she added.

"Oh okay well then see you tomorrow for lunch." Anthony said standing at the tree now looking dissapointed.

Confused, Lissa tilted her head. "I don't have to leave now." she said. "I was planning on finishing any work I had during my break. I don't have much to finish." she explained, before she realized. "Oh, or did you have something to do?" she asked. "If I'm keeping you, I'm sorry..."

"No I just thought that you had to go." Anthony said happy to hear she could stay a bit longer.

Lissa laughed, shaking her head. "Nope, I have at least..." she trailed off, pulling out her phone and checking the time. "I have at least two hours or so until I have to be at work."

"Great that means I have two hours or so with the greatest girl in the world." Anthony said with a red tint on his face.

Blushing slightly, Lissa laughed. "Thanks, but I'm pretty sure there are better people than me out there." she said, waving her hand in front of her face in an embarrassed manner.

Anthony got closer and laughed at the old gesture. "That's not true since beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Lissa smiled, remaining quiet. "I have nothing to say to that..." she replied.

"You don't have to say anything." Anthony said getting extremely close. He was holding back his urge to kiss her. He'd loved her since they were little.

Blushing at his closeness, Lissa looked up. "A-alright..." she murmured, not sure what else to do besides remain still.

Anthony was a bit surprised that she hadn't stepped back. He decided to take advantage and stepped so close they were almost touching. He then gave her a quick peck on the cheek without thinking then turned bright red.

Flushing deeply, Lissa remained frozen. While she didn't really care to move, though she doubted she'd be able to if she had wanted. "Aa-ah....um..." she stuttered, trying to think of something to say to get rid of the quiet.

Anthony stepped back still bright red. "Sorry couldn't help it." He said noticing the way she started hunting for something to say.

"N-no, it's fine!" she rushed to say. She honestly hadn't minded, she was just a bit startled. "I-I didn't....m-mind..."

"A-Are you sure?" Anthony said with a bit of a light in his eyes. He was often very secluded so this was very exciting for him.
